*avoid eating foods that can cause gas or acidity. Vegetables which are known to cause acidity are brussels, onions, garlic and broccoli; dairy products like cheese, milk, ice cream and whole grains can cause acidity. The reason is that these products have fiber, starch and sugar which cannot be digested easily, thus causing pain in the intestines. Fruits which contain sorbitol and aerated drinks should also be avoided. Eat everything but in moderation. *avoid drinking before meals as the stomach acids are lost and the food cannot be digested well. Water and liquids should be taken half an hour after a meal for a better digestion. * food should be eaten slowly. Eating and drinking quickly, allows a lot of air to go into the stomach with the food. This in turn can cause a stomach pain. * over the counter drugs can be taken for immediate help in digestion. These medicines contain enzymes which aid in digestion. The enzyme works to dissolve the sugar that is found in many fruit and vegetables. * some habits like chewing gum, drinking from a straw and smoking, etc. Causes air to fill in the stomach, thereby, leading to gas. High fiber diet a high fiber diet includes more than 25 g of fiber per day. Many hemorrhoidal symptoms reduce when dietary changes are made. Addition of fiber supplements to already existing diet is a good plan. Toilet habit retraining and stool softeners patients should sit on the toilet seat only for the time required to evacuate the lower bowels. Persistent straining or prolonged sitting can lead to increased size of hemorrhoids. Stool softeners can be taken to soften stools if there is hard stools which can cause undue straining while going to toilet.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily .Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Have patience. Do the right things for the right things to happen. You should go to the doctor with your husband and discuss about the plan. Mr. Lybrate-user, your lipids all of those readings look to be pretty low. Both total cholesterol and ldl are fairly low, even hdl is also low. You have not mentioned about blood sugar levels secondly whether you exercise regularly. One of the reasons could be taking rosuvastatin 10 mg daily. It looks like there is no need of that drug at this moment. So you may discontinue the same and then check lipids after about 3 months. Also exercise daily that will also help. You also are close to be obese with a bmi of 29.41 kgs/m2, hence exercising should be beneficial. With regards.

Dear lybrate user, hair growth occurs in cycles. Each cycle consists of a long growing phase (anagen), a short transitional phase (catagen) and a short resting phase (telogen). At the end of the resting phase, the hair falls out (exogen) and a new hair starts growing in the follicle beginning the cycle again. Normally, about 40 hairs reach the end of their resting phase each day and fall out. When more than 100 hairs fall out per day, clinical hair loss may occur. Hair loss have many causes such as:- 1) shrinkage of the hair follicles due to the influence of androgenic hormones. 2) under-nutrition of the hair due to fungal infection on the scalp. 3) effects of radio therapy or chemotherapy. 4) nutritional deficiencies. 5) autoimmune diseases. Modes of treatment for hairfall/alopecia includes surgical modes, oral medicine & local external application. The minimum duration of the course of oral medicines & external application is 6 months. You can start the following medications:- 1) take 5 drops of homeopathic sulphur 200, once in a week. 2) take 5 drops of homoeopathic selenium 200 every morning before brushing your teeth. 3) take 4 tablets from biochemic natrum mur 6x tablets, thrice daily. From past one month I am maintaining proper diet which includes fruit, vegetables, nov veg, juice two time milk a day with protein powder, soybean. Peanut butter with bread in morning and evening with milk and fruits. I have also divided my meals from 3 to 6. Which in turn gave me weight increase of 2 kg. But from day before yesterday I was not able maintain above mentioned diet due to some reason and suddenly I have observed that my health has decreased upto 1.3 kg. So, my question is that after maintaining good diet for approximately one month it took me gain weight of 2 kg in 1 month and 2 days of carelessness in diet reduced my weight 1.3 kg, so why its not constant. In future circumstances my come when I will not be able to maintain good diet then I will be loose all what I have gained through hard work. Kindly clarify above doubt and let me know if anything new is required to add in my diet to enhance the process. Also suggest that whether including endura mass in milk would be good because at present I am using amway nutrilite protein powder.

Health happens over a longer period of time. Changes in body don't happen abruptly. Be patient. Take a target of one year. Right now your BMI is 20.0 which means you are not underweight. You are normal. You want to build a stronger and fitter body, give it some more time. Focus on building strength and stamina. Avoid comparison with others. Inner strength is what matters. Just focus on your fitness goals. Continue with your good diet. In time you will put on weight. This is a typical problem I have observed. Most of the men below 25 are desperate to gain weight and men after 25 put on so much weight, then they become desperate to lose weight. Hence it is best to maintain a balance.
