I am 26 old married woman, I have serious issue of vaginal skin tearing and cracking whenever my husband penetrates. He takes a lot of care while doing so. He uses condoms every time as we are not planned for kids. So we cannot use oil lubricants. My vaginal area seems to be very delicate, please suggest how get rid of this. I experience vaginal infections frequently whenever there is a white discharge. I use wash and candid Vgel ointment for infection.

What appears is not only the problem of infection and delicate skin but a problem due to sexual relations. Husband may be careful but that's not enough. As per your age, it appears that both of you are not aware of many aspects of quality sexual relations. Something is lacking somewhere. Please make direct connect with an expert sexologist with your husband, may be online but go for this. I feel you will be fine. Move on. All the best.

Hello, Anembryonic gestation can be idiopathic where heart beat doesn't arrive so as such its not an indication for any intervention but a karyotyping can be planned for safety.

My mother has tickle on the period of 1 to2 months, she is also a diabetic patient.

Homeopath,
It may be menopause need USG HORMONAL TEST Homoeopathy is based on the principle that disease is a part total of body. Homoeopathy is very effective in managing all the symptoms of Diabeties and furthermore plays a vital role in preventing relapse of the condition. Homoeopathic medicines are prescribed on the basis of physical, emotional, and genetic make up that individualizes a person. This constitutional approach framing mind and body works at the root-level. Moreover homoeopathy recognizes importance of root cause such as genetic and inherited factors as a root of any ailment of the body. The homoeopathy medicines prescribed on such strongly plays a crucial role in management of many deep-rooted, chronic, difficult diseases; one amongst them being Diabetes which we can manage to normal level of sugar in urine And blood. Diabetes cannot be cure completely but can effectively controlled with homeopathic medicines. People with diabetes can lead a healthy life if their blood sugar level is under control. The decrease in life span of a diabetic is restored to normal by maintaining good blood glucose control (90 – 120 mg/dl Fasting and with less than 180 mg/dl as PP (2 Hrs. After taking meals). Timely-administered homoeopathy medicines not only assist in maintaining levels of sugar, protein and fat metabolism, but also helps in preventing further progress and hence complications of the disease. The precipitating factors of diabetes like BP, Obesity ,nephropathy ,retinopathy, Diabetic other disoder with diabetess etc. Can be helped by homoeopathic medication. The complications of Diabetes also can be controled tremendously with homoeopathy. If homoeopathic treatment is choosen earlier far less number of case would go to the stage of Amputation etc. Even the cases of Non Healing Diabetic Ulcers have been cured with homoeopathy.

Hi doctor, I have the similar problem that is PCOD. I too get very light periods and there is a sign of hirsutism as well. I have acne problem as well. My height is 5'7" and weight is 58 kgs. Please help.

BHMS, DEMS
Homeopath, Pune
Hello .Delayed or irregular menses, absent menses for various months, prolonged menses — all these are indications of an endocrine disorder known in medical terms as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS. The symptoms in the syndrome are acne, irregular or absent periods, obesity, hirsutism (excessive growth of bodily hair) and infertility. Not all patients have every symptom. In fact some people are not overweight. This can cause difficulty when doctors are not inclined to refer for investigations if the patient does not fit all the categories. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is curable with the homeopathic mode of treatment. Homeopathic treatment for Polycystic ovarian syndrome is very safe and free from any side effect. Which homeopathic medicine is required to extract the disease from its roots varies from case to case consult me.

This is definitely a chronic fungal infection which keeps cropping up, probably bcz you have never took complete medication for it, so take a proper and complete treatment for this until the root is cured. Apart from this, maintain good personal hygiene, V-wash, etc, change your under garments frequently, drink lots of water, and see that it sexual partner too, follows the similar rule.

MBBS, DGO, DNB - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Congratulations for the good news. First of all your doctor will try to find out the cause of low haemoglobin. Accordingly you would be given the medicine. Apples, jaggery (gud) are good sources of iron but take plenty of milk also because protein intake is important for haemoglobin build up.

I am having pain when I touch my nipple. And even if I press my breast also it pains .i am very much worried about breast cancer .is it a sign.

Thank you for your question. Breast pain is not a sign of breast cancer. Tender breasts often occur cyclically and are worse just before a period. There are several causes for breast pain including badly fitting bras, accidental blunt injury, a small abscess in a hair follicle, breast secretions due to hormonal disturbance etc. You may try simple measures like getting a supportive firm bra, increasing your fluid intake and reducing salt intake, simple analgesia with paracetamol or ibuprofen in the days preceding your period and supplementation with Vitamin E capsules or Evening Primrose oil. If none of these measures work or you feel a lump or are getting nipple discharge please see your doctor for an examination and investigations. Best wishes.

8 Reasons To Love Watermelon

The first fruit that comes to mind when you want to indulge in during summer would be watermelon. While it is refreshing and hydrating, there are also other benefits that it has.

Listed below are 8 reasons that you should have a watermelon:

  1. Body Hydration: The most important benefit of this red, juicy fruit is water, which is as high as 92%. It is no surprise that you feel hydrated as soon as you start biting into a slice of watermelon. In patients who need to be hydrated, this could work wonders.
  2. Reduces body fat: Watermelons contain an amino acid called Citrulline which converts to arginine. This conversion blocks the creation of fat from fat cells, thereby reducing fat accumulation in the body.
  3. Digestion: The high fiber content in watermelon, supplemented by the high water content, aids in smooth digestion and clears constipation.
  4. Healthy Heart: Watermelon contains lycopene, which dilates the blood vessels and allows for smoother flow of blood. The lycopene is proven to protect against various heart ailments. Tests done to check blood pressure at various spots including ankle and carotid regions showed significant decline in blood pressure. These also improve blood flow in the arteries.
  5. Musculoskeletal benefits: The benefits to the bones and muscles are multifold. After a workout session, athletes recover faster by eating watermelon. The are many reasons for this: The potassium-rich watermelon helps muscles function better, The amino acid Citrulline is believed to reduce muscle soreness and inflammation, Choline in the watermelon helps in better muscular movement and reduce inflammation
  6. Skin: The Vitamin A in watermelon aids in generation of hair and skin follicles, production of sebum, and moisturizing the hair follicles. This also promotes better condition of supporting tissues like hair, teeth, soft tissues and mucous membranes. Watermelon also contains Vitamin C, very essential for building and maintaining collagen. Collagen is what provides structure to the hair and skin. Add some watermelon if you have wounds, and see how wound healing is improved with better collagen formation. Needless to say, the high moisture content also adds to improved look of hair and skin.
  7. Cancer Prevention: Watermelon, especially a nicely ripened fruit, contains a lot of carotenoids, flavonoids, and triterpenoids. These are proven anti-cancer chemicals and reduce the formation of free radicals in the body which are responsible for cancer.
  8. Vision: The bright red colour of watermelon is from beta carotene and watermelon is also a rich source of it. Beta-carotene helps in the production of pigments in the eye. It can also prevent macular degeneration and night blindness.

So, the next time you bite into a watermelon, think about all the good things you are treating your body with.
