Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

may be you are suffering from deficiency of nutrients, iron and calcium or may be there is rheumatic disease. Go for serum calcium, haemoglobin, Ra factor and uric acid testing. Take balanced diet , fruits and milk daily. Take appropriate sleep, avoid stress and do some exercise daily

I am getting pain near left shoulder blade while working on a computer for 8 months the xray reports of neck ok, no pain killers or anti inflammatory medicines working i have taken 2 steroid injections on the pain spot i worked only 30 days.

And there are 5 lumbar vertebrae and the 5th lumbar vertebrae is anatomically is located in the lower end where the body weight is taken and it is generally fused with if your pain is there for many years then it is chronic pain. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappels which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back. Sacral vertebrae. That is where the sciatic nerve passes by and the nerve gets compressed that's the reason you have pain and sensation is disturbed.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. Go for a regular walk. Also control your weight properly to bring down the pain identify the points on either side between the ankle bone and tendons. Give acupressure with a blunt edge of a pen on both sides 20 times at a time after getting from bed. Rotate the feet 10 times clockwise and anticlockwise. Pl check whether you are having correct body weight. Otherwise reduce overweight. Report to me progress after 5 days for further advice.

Pain may be due to tight upper back muscles or referred from neck area. Physiotherapy in the form of ultrasound, specific stretches and strengthening, soft tissue mobilization etc can help. At home you can massage, hot or cold therapy as tolerated. Wish you speedy recovery.

Mild compression at L5-S1 may or may not be the cause of your pain since 2011. There has to be other Biomechanical Cause behind your pain, hence your disc Problem need not be addressed because It's not always the cause of your pain, so there are other factors which needs to be scrutinized such as your Lumbar Curvature (one of the most vital reason to look for any anomalies which is one of the cause behind pain ), other factors like Spinal Muscle Tightness like Quadratus Lumborum, Multifidus, etc or weakness of Spinal Muscles or Pelvis Muscles can also lead to pain. Pelvis Rotation often called as Anterior Pelvic Tilt or Posterior Pelvis tilt, Sacral forward or backward Rotation can also lead to pain, which is most commonly seen in our daily clinical practice. Piriformis muscle tightness can also give rise to chronic pain when left unaddressed. Even your ankle joint anomaly or Calf muscle Tightness can also lead to low back pain. So as per the MRI report, the mild disc compression can be useless unless you go through a thorough examination under a skilled Orthopedic Physiotherapist. I hope you understood how a Low back Pain needs to looked at in order to find out the root cause behind your pain. Hope my suggestion helps. Feel free to connect for further evaluation. Thanks.

Maintain postural care and exercise. Avoid bending forward and weight carry. No rotational exercise and no exercise in severe painful situation. Continue physiotherapy and rest. Apply specific mattress during sleep. Continue the given medicine with proper follow up. Nothing more. It takes time to recover.

Back pain can result from bad posture, a sudden jerky movement, a lumpy mattress or poor lifting techniques. It can also be caused by injury in a work place, by a sports accident or by muscular spasms. There are also many diseases and pathological conditions that can lead to back pain. These include abdominal or pelvic disease, anxiety, arthritis, cervical or lumbar spondylosis, dermatological problems, kidney disease, rheumatic conditions, tumours and scoliosis. Our modern, sedentary lifestyles have a profound effect on the development of back pain; indeed one of the most effective ways of preventing it is simply to stay active. An average adult in the India spends at least two hours a day in front of a computer screen or television set, and back problems can be triggered if they don’t sit properly. In an age of mobile phones and computer games, such troubles are increasingly inflicting children of school age as well. Top tips for back care: For back pain, better to see your Doctor sooner than later. Take regular exercise – your Doctor can say what’s right for you. Hours in one position can cause problems – avoid computer ‘hump’. During repetitive tasks, vary your rhythm and take frequent breaks. Adjust car seats and on long journeys, take regular breaks to stretch. Pace yourself with heavy work such as gardening – don’t risk a disc! Watch children’s posture – they shouldn’t carry bags on one shoulder or spend too long at a computer without breaks. Avoid strain when lifting, particularly small children and shopping. Your bed could be part of the problem. Seek Doctor advice on choosing a new one. Take a hot bath or shower, soaking in a hot tub, or using a heating pad, hot water bottle, or heat wrap that provides continuous, low-level heat are all ways to bring healing warmth to your lower back.

Is your pain localized or one which is radiating down from neck region? think it can be due to some degeneration setting in your shoulders, I suggest you for intensive shoulder rehab in presence of physical therapist initially, a short course of anti-inflammatory medications and calcium/vitamin d supplementation.
