Hi. Hair fall occurs due to many reasons. Common causes are hormonal, nutritional deficiences like iron, proteins, vit d, local inflammation in scalp, stress chemical tretment of hair and any systemic illness or medication. Very important to find the cause of hairfall and then treat accordingly. Every patient would have a different reason for hairfall. with newer medications problem of hairfall can be managed effectively. it would involve oral medications , proper diet and use of applications.

First you need to under stand some thing that the height a person attains is mostly decided right from the time a person is born, by his genetics. Height is mostly hereditary and a persons height is determined by the height of the father or mother. If none of them are taller than 5 feet 4 Inch then it is less likely that you will grow over that. Still some inches of growth is possible by taking some healthy steps which you should always try. Try taking a healthy food and never skip a break fast. Sleep adequately. Growth hormone is released at night in sleep and you should give sufficient time to sleep. Do regular exercise. Preferably stretching exercises like skipping, hanging from the bar or standing tall on ones toes. Also sports such as badminton and basketball also increases the height. Adequate weight control s essential to divert your energy to increase in height. All said, these habbits are good for a healthy life as well. You can try all of them regularly and just hope for the best. Do not fall for all the super natural remedies claiming to increase height in 2-3 weeks.

Thank you for your query in Lybrate. Actually the fact is that this scar mark is a permanent tissue formed after an injury. Chance of reestablishment of normal cell is less. But I have seen few cases which was improved by a medicine- Annagalis Q.You can apply it thrice daily on that area for 1 month. Thank you.

Which is better for pcod (considering other aspects like weight reduction and nutritious diet are normal and under control)? Allopathy or ayurveda or homeopathy? 95% of the pcod/pcos patients have the opinion that they tried allopathy for 2-3 years and did not see any change but also the medication causes rise in body heat, tiredness etc. But had drastic positive change when they changed to ayurveda, and homeopathy also.

Hello, PCOS or pcod s a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant. PCOS also may cause unwanted changes in the way you look. If it isn't treated, over time it can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease. The most common symptoms are: Acne.Weight gain and trouble losing weight.Extra hair on the face and body.Thinning hair or even hair loss on scalp.Irregular periods. Often women with PCOS have fewer than nine periods a year. Some women have no periods. Others have very heavy bleeding.Fertility problems. Many women who have PCOS have trouble getting pregnant(infertility), depression. Regular exercise, healthy foods, and weight control are the key treatments for PCOS. Treatment (hormonal) can reduce unpleasant symptoms and help prevent long-term health problems. Try to fit in moderate activity and/or vigorous activity often. Brisk Walking, jogging, dance or aerobics are great exercise that most people can do.Eat heart-healthy foods. This includes lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, and whole grains. It limits foods that are high insaturated fat, such as meats, cheeses, and fried foods.Most women who have PCOS can benefit from losing weight. Even losing 5kg may help get your hormones in balance, regulate your menstrual cycle and can make you ovulate.

Hi lybrate-user Being overweight or obese is a gateway to developing dreadful diseases including type-2 diabetes, heart disease, and some types of cancer. We all know a simple answer to this: weight loss. Weight loss is a healthy living choice in which you consistently maintain eating a balanced, nutritious, detox diet, and be physically active. Healthy Diet plan A weight loss diet is not a fad diet or a crash diet. A weight loss diet is also not a diet that leads you to stress, and increases your chances of binge eating. It is a diet that amply minimizes your bad fat intake, supplies you with good energy to get you through the day, and which adds immensely positively to your body health. What makes for a weight loss, detox diet? For starters, you will need to say goodbye to all debilitating sugar food. It means omitting out from your diet: soft drinks, chocolates, ice-creams, jams, sauces and sugar-laden pastries. As you begin to get past the sugar diet, your body will begin understanding how to reduce weight fast. Next, you will need to incorporate the following for a healthy detox diet: 1. Eating 3-4 cups of assorted vegetables daily. 2. Replacing white bread with whole wheat bread. White flour food items like pizza, pasta, pastries or naan shouldn’t be a part of your diet. Instead you need to be opting whole wheat bread, chapatis, and brown rice in your diet. Even for biscuits, get rid of munching on biscuits made from refined flour, and instead snack on whole wheat crackers or bran biscuits. 3. Not skipping a meal. Make eating at least three meals a day your habit. 4. A good detox diet includes having plenty of water. Drinking more and more water helps eliminate toxins from body and keeps the system clean. 5. If you are a non-vegetarian, eat lots of fish. 6. For an effective weight loss diet, limit your fat intake to 2-3 teaspoons a day. 7. Increasing fiber intake in your diet. This is an important element for weight loss and makes for a healthy diet plan. Eating fiber rich food provides bulk, a sense of fullness, and prevents hunger pangs. It helps balance out the blood sugar and eases the elimination cycle. Foods include wheat bran, whole fruits and vegetables. Supplements of Psyllium seed husks and Guar gum are also rich sources of fiber. A good detox diet is finally complete with supplies that have plenty of antioxidants like Vitamins C and E, Selenium. Antioxidants are important because when we begin to lose weight we start losing fat from fat cells. Along with the fat, the stored toxins also get liberated. Antioxidants protect our bodies against these toxins that can cause damage and irritation to many tissues, in particular the liver. A herbal liver cleanser can also be a good antioxidant supply. Note on Exercise A healthy diet planis essential for weight loss but so is exercising your body. Exercises catalyze your efforts in losing weight. Among different forms of exercises, walking is the easiest because it comes naturally to us, is gentle on the joints, and accounts for a non-jerky way of improving metabolism. A regular thirty minute walk can give you the benefits of an aerobic exercise. Start walking at a comfortable pace, with sufficient speed as to give you the aerobic benefits and boost in metabolism. To increase your metabolic rate, try increasing the duration, the frequency, and the intensity of your daily work out. When more sets of muscles are used, the level of fitness improves. A healthy diet plan and exercising is a fool-proof way of how to reduce weight fast yet safely. Make this a lifetime habit, and a healthy, disease free, happy life would follow.

Rub your hair with onion paste before an hour of shower. It will help you turn your hair black. Also, you can massage your scalp with oil before shower. Eat more chana and amla.

Write latest blood sugar f/pp, lipid profile and hba1c with details of medicine you r taking on private chat for proper assessment in the men time do 1. No alcohol 2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5.30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Isha no problem if you have this problem..you can reduce your weight but it will take more time...both things are important for reducing weight..1st its 30 to 45minute cardeo exercises preferable walking and 2nd its diet control o taking healthy nutritive diet... Drink warm water with lemon and honey early in the morning... Maximum intake of green tea and water... Take high fibre diet.. Avoid refined fatty and high sugar food.. Dinner it should be light maximum till 8pm..

Hi, you can use any fluoridated toothpaste from any company, try and use one with soft bristles. It is not really the brush / paste that decides the cleaning efficiency, but the technique of brushing which ensures clean teeth and healthy gums.

Firstly weight gain is majorly dependent on your metabolism and genetics play a definite role too. You have to be patient and give your body time to gain a healthy body weight. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, sprouts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

sir, slightly it is on higher side. bring it to normal level by walking for 1 hr in morning and evening and by reducing your diet slightly. it will help you a lot.
