1.Take paracetamol 500mg, one tablet sos upto a maximum of three tablets daily after food 2.Drink plenty of water 3.Take rest 4.If no relief do blood examination like ESR, CBC, Widal/ Typhidot test, Blood for mp/malaria antigen and Dengue antigen(NS1) test after consulting doctor 5. consult me for further advice

You should immediately visit a local Doctor and have a physical check-up as pedal edema could be several reasons that needs to be corrected. It could be due to renal-disease/heart disease/loss of protein from body/venous problem. Till the time you can take Mag Phos 12 x - thrice daily and additional dose for pain when required. Give rest to your leg and apply hot water fomentation. Once pain subsides do regular stretching of leg. If you don't get relief in 2-3 days consult physiotherapist for clinical examination.

1. Get your blood examined for hemoglobin, vitamin d3, vitamin b12, calcium and consult physician with report for advice and treatment 2. Take one capsule of revital woman daily after breakfast 3. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief as and when required after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily for pain.

Sleep on a hard bed no sagging or folding bed with a thick matress over it and do spinal extension exercises, pirex gel locally.

You can fill a bottle and put it in freezer. Then with that ice just roll over your heel. This will reduce your pain. Use a silicon u-slab to avoid pressure over your heel.

Hi You may see a physician for tremors diagnosis after gradual giving up alcohol and intake of vitamin B complex, B6,B1B12, methycobalamin supplements. A neurologist can help rule out Parkinson's or badal ganglia disease causing similar symptoms. Another cause is liver ,after long addiction and heavy alcoholism, liver function tests and ultrasound for liver, pancreas may be required. Diabetes and thyroid function tests for other common reasons may also be screened.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear Sir, at age 75, the pain in neck and back could be a result of degenerative disc disease, which can be corrected by exercises but you need to be evaluated and screened, before a final diagnosis can be made, and treatment initiated.

I am taking penidure la 12 injection for last 13 years due to rheumatic fever. I am now 32 years old. Still now I feel pain in my leg, especially in the morning. Also it starts pain in all my joints 14-15 days after I take the injection. What should I do? I have high pressure & high triglycerides also. Takin medicine supermet am & storvas 10, one tab daily.

Hi lybrate-user, hair fall/loss can be due to variety of causes. However, many of them can be controlled and dealt with. Most common cause is nutrient deficiency which can be rectified my oral medications and supplements. There are medicines available for local application which are also known to give significant results. Treatments like mesotherapy, microneedilling and prp show significant long term effects. Hello there are many reasons for this type of pain- 1. Blood disorders like rheumatoid arthritis, 2. Deficiency of vitamin d3 or calcium, or lack of water in the body, 3. Postural stress, 4. Muscle strain, etc. Till then follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting with affected hand. 3. Avoid weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. Thanks.

Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
