Hello Dr. Kya pregnancy mei ultrasound safe h essay baby ko koi nuksaan to nae hota. Please tell.
Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Ultrasound (also called sonogram) is a prenatal test offered to most pregnant women. It uses sound waves to show a picture of your baby in the uterus (womb. Most women get an ultrasound in their second trimester at 16 to 20 weeks of pregnancy. There is no harm to the womb because of ultrasound scan. Take care.

Hello. I would not advise you to take unwanted kit without the supervision of a gynaecologist. Before taking unwanted kit it has to be confirmed on sonography whether it is a uterine pregnancy or tubal pregnancy. After taking the pill there is severe cramping and pain which has to be managed with painkiller s. Also it is very important to do a sonography after the abortion to check whether it has been a complete abortion or not as any remnants in the uterus may lead to infection s and effect your future chances of getting pregnant. Pls consult a gynaecologist before taking unwanted kit.

For haemoglobin include iron rich foods like jaggery, raisins. You can have wheat grass juice 2 tsp in water early morning. Also for iron absorption include vitamin c rich foods like sprinkle lemon over green moong dal sprouts. Have more antioxidant fruits like pomegranate, oranges, kiwi and vegetables like spinach, beetroot in your diet.

Hi per my period date I should be of 11 weeks 2 days pregnant but as per the ultra sound report my pregnancy is of 9 weeks resulting delayed conception of 2 weeks 2 days though I can see the heart beat of the baby, is this delayed conception should be the cause of worry.

No. If earlier your period was not regular or delayed you might have conceived later. However it is better to consult your gynaecologist who after obtaining proper history may come to a logical conclusion.
