I am suffering from tonsillitis and sore throat and fever 101.5.which fruit juice is most helpful and how to cure tonsillitis as soon as possible.

LASER assisted Tonsillar Ablation! The infected tonsils are sitting time bombs filled with dangerous multidrug-resistant germs just waiting to attack and destroy your vital organs like heart and kidneys! At the most antibiotics can clear your blood stream off the germs but inside the tonsils, these germs have created a plasmid barrier which even the most potent of antibiotics cannot penetrate. The tonsils have no function after 3 years of age when your spleen, and bone marrow replace the tonsillar tissue for immune regulation. Find an ENT Surgeon in your city who is equipped and experienced in doing LASER assisted Tonsil Ablation. Alternatively, come down to Bengaluru, and I will personally operate upon you and cure you.

Vertigo is a sensation of feeling off balance. If you have these dizzy spells, you might feel like you are spinning or that the world around you is spinning. Causes of Vertigo Vertigo is often caused by an inner ear problem. Some of the most common causes include: BPPV. These initials stand for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. BPPV occurs when tiny calcium particles (canaliths) clump up in canals of the inner ear. The inner ear sends signals to the brain about head and body movements relative to gravity. It helps you keep your balance. BPPV can occur for no known reason and may be associated with age. Meniere's disease. This is an inner ear disorder thought to be caused by a buildup of fluid and changing pressure in the ear. It can cause episodes of vertigo along with ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and hearing loss. Vestibular neuritis or labyrinthitis. This is an inner ear problem usually related to infection (usually viral). The infection causes inflammation in the inner ear around nerves that are important for helping the body sense balance Less often vertigo may be associated with: Head or neck injury Brain problems such as stroke or tumor Certain medications that cause ear damage Migraine headaches For medication Consult online in private.

Dear sir I am 25 years old I have tonsils problem. My nose is closed from 5 month I cannot take breath easily. Can yiu guide me please. I am waiting for your good and helpful advise. Thanks.

M S, MBBS
ENT Specialist, Gurgaon
Dear Imran I would give preference to nose compared to tonsils as most of the tonsil infections are easily curable. My first advice is to get yourself examined thoroughly. If nothing conclusive appears on examination, then CT scan if nose and paranasal sinuses will be the next step.

No, according to the new guidelines (since 2003) normal is under 3 for TSH, and doctors are supposed to consider treatment above 2 if symptoms are present. You can take Lactulose syryp for constipation

I am 59 years man and suffering from tinnitus from last 4 years. It comes and gone. Sometimes problem of vertigo raise due to tinnitus. At that time I am taking vertin od tablet. While please in tinnitus I am taking bilowas 2 time daily. But ringing come and go. When tinnitus come I am takingn bilowas tablet and naas. Suggest treatment or test.

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
Possibly you are having meniere' s disease. Vertin od is helpful in acute vertigo attack. Bilowas has no proven benefit for tinnitus. Tinnitus is not a disease, but a condition that can result from a wide range of underlying causes. The most common cause is noise-induced hearing loss. Other causes include neurological damage (multiple sclerosis), ear infections, oxidative stress, emotional stress, foreign objects in the ear, nasal allergies that prevent (or induce) fluid drain, earwax build-up, and exposure to loud sounds. Withdrawal from benzodiazepines may cause tinnitus as well. Tinnitus may be an accompaniment of sensori-neural hearing loss or congenital hearing loss, or it may be observed as a side effect of certain medications like quinidine, chloroquine etc (ototoxic tinnitus). So my advice is, you please consult a good ent specialist of a hospital of repute and get the right treatment.

1. Rule out health problems. Fatigue is a common symptom of many illnesses, including diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, anemia, thyroid disease, and sleep apnea. Many medications can contribute to fatigue. These include some blood pressure medicines, antihistamines, diuretics, and other drugs. 2. Get moving The last thing you may feel like doing when you’re tired is exercising. But many studies show that physical activity boosts energy levels. Exercise has consistently been linked to improved vigor and overall quality of life.People who become active have a greater sense of self-confidence. But exercise also improves the working efficiency of your heart, lungs, and muscles. That’s the equivalent of improving the fuel efficiency of a car. It gives you more energy for any kind of activity. 3. Strike a pose. Although almost any exercise is good, yoga may be especially effective for boosting energy. After six weeks of once-a-week yoga classes, volunteers in a British study reported improvements in clear-mindedness, energy, and confidence. 4. Drink plenty of water. Dehydration zaps energy and impairs physical performance. 5. Get to bed early. Lack of sleep increases the risk of accidents and is one of the leading causes of daytime fatigue. The solution: Get to bed early enough for a full night’s sleep 6. Eat fish. Good for your heart, omega-3 oils may also boost alertness. 7. Keep time with your body clock. Some people get a burst of energy first thing in the morning. They're often called morning larks. Night owls are people who are at their best at the end of the day. These individual differences in daily energy patterns are determined by brain structure and genetics, so they can be tough to change. Instead, become aware of your own circadian rhythms. Then schedule demanding activities when your energy levels are typically at their peak. 8. Shed extra weight. Losing extra weight can provide a powerful energy boost Some people may benefit by eating smaller meals more frequently during the day. This may help to steady your blood sugar level. Favor whole grains and other complex carbohydrates. These take longer than refined carbohydrates to digest, preventing fluctuations of blood sugar. FOR MEDICATION CONSULT ONLINE IN PRIVATE

Start tab. Allegra-m daily at bed time and flomist nasal spray 2 puffs twice a day along with that steam inhalation twice a day. Do all this for 2 weeks. U may require ct scan after that to rule out any local pathology.
