Your description of ailment is not very clear. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

What is the difference between seizure attack and panic attack. What do we call if someone gets sudden feeling of fear. Losing concentration. Becoming very sluggish. Unable to think logically. Mind goes blank. Unable to have restful sleep. Sudden change in appearance and behaviour and you will have this condition suddenly without any reason and whenever it happens others able to identify easily and by taking tablet at that time will make you normal again within couple of minutes. And no idea when it will reoccur again. What is it? why it happens and what to do to not to happen? Please advise.

Seizure attack is due to abnormal electrical activity in brain, which can produce motor, sensory, emotional or behavioral problems depending on the area of the brain in which the electrical activity occurs. Panic attack is sudden severe form of extreme anxiety, characterized by feelings of doom, going crazy, dying, something terrible going to happen, pounding heart, sweating, tremors and so on. This is due to serotonin imbalance in the brain. Consult a psychiatrist, and get treated.

I am 29 years old suffering from Migraine since 6 years. I have not recognised that the headache, vomiting and blurred vision are due to migraine. I have takenhomeopathy medication for 4 months. Since then it was less frequent. Now a days headache and vomiting was very less but sudden vision disturbances persist i.e, blurred vision and not able to view the side vision. As of now no medication is been taken. Kindly suggest the cause and cure for the same.

avoid stress for good sleeping. for headache you can take tab. dolo 650 mg sos. for vomiting tab. emeset-4 mg sos. Do tests cbc,lft,blood sugar,fkt,urine r/m,stool r/m,stool c/s,. after tests can diagnosis you can take proper medicines. Take ORS liquid. Start with easily digested foods such as gelatin, crackers and toast. When you can keep these down, try cereal, rice, fruit, and salty or high-protein, high-carbohydrate foods. Avoid fatty or spicy foods. Wait to eat solid foods until about six hours after the last time you vomited

I have been facing continuous nerve problem for past 1 month. When I was in office suddenly my leg and thing started to numb so I got anxiety then my entire body went numb. Then I met doctor they did blood test and said I am having less Vitamin D (7 IU) and B12 (146 IU. So I started to take tablets but when ever I sleep my both hand fingers goes numb and my left leg also goes numb after some days now I got digestion and gastro also. My back neck and shoulder also paining. Does vitamin deficiency cause this much problem (Vit D- 7 iu and B12- 146) Day by day my problems also increasing. I have met 3 doctors even Did whole spin scan doctors said I have nothing other than vitamin deficiency and anxiety. They are asking me to just give movement in leg and hand which I can do well but still I feel more weak in my muscle. Last two days I also started to feel all day faint. My doubt is if I do not have any problem in spin, is it related to any other viral infection or any other desire how should I find cause of my condition please give me any suggestion (Note: In last 6 month I had around 3 time same kind of feel in my left hand only, which goes numb while I sleep but now it is more)

I am giving some health tips for Migraine headache •1.You can turn off light for some time •2.Apply hot or cold compresses to your head or neck. •Ice packs have a numbing effect, which may dull the sensation of pain. •Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. •3.Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect. •4.You can take Tea or coffee( but not excess) 5.Sleep well Here are some tips to encourage sound sleep. Establish regular sleep hours. •Minimize distractions. •Your eating habits can influence your migraines. •Be consistent. Eat at about the same time every day. Don't skip meals. Doctor I do not know whats getting wrong with me I am not able to walk normally, I feel off balance and feel like bouncing up and down and when I jump initially I feel I bounced inside the floor and came out. Very weird things happened to me few days back like 1) I cannot stand in a cue you feel like ill fall I feel off balance I feel my legs very heavy and tired and my hands become so light and they start shivering Sometimes I get breathe g problem I cannot go in a lift when I walk out of lift I feel off balance and suddenly when I keep my leg out of lift I feel off balance. This is going on from past 1 year I get cold and hot sweats frequently and hot flushes as well I went somewhere on 18th floor by lift as soon as I walked out of lift I felt I am going to fall down I felt dizzy and I sat down held my head and I left my hands very light. From past few days My eyes are seeing very weird things like I see blue color, something sparly and something blinky I am tensed I feel like suiciding now I sm fed of myself doctor what can be the reasons help please I am 18 and my weight is 93.

Epilepsy And Seizures In Children - Know More About It!

Epilepsy is defined as a neurological disorder, which affects people of all age groups. However, the cases of seizures are found more in young children (likely to occur in as many as 4% of children) than in adults. It is still not known as to why a developing brain is more prone to seizures than a mature brain. A child is said to be suffering from epilepsy when they occur frequently. 

As parents your responsibilities are compounded if your child has epilepsy. You not only have to pay heed towards the normal concerns of his/her upbringing but also have to look into your child's emotional aspects, while dealing with the disorder in your day to day life.

You can help your child deal with the condition in the following ways:

1. It is quite likely that your child may feel resentful and develop emotional issues, such as depression or low self-esteem. Help your child cultivates positive attitude towards life and his/her disease.

2. Try to make your child come to terms with reality by helping him/her to understand that even though he/she may be different, he/she shouldn't look upon the condition as something that is abnormal. It is best to help your child concentrate on his/her strengths at such times.

3. Help your child participate in activities of his/her choice to instill positivity in life.

4. Make sure your other children understand their sibling's ailment and if he/she feels neglected try and spend more time with him/her. If need be, seek family counselling to make everyone understand how to deal with your child's illness.

5. Learn about your child's medication schedule thoroughly and also find out what he/she needs to do in case a dose of medication is missed.

6. Develop an environment where he/she feels comfortable and can easily share a concern or anxieties. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a pediatrician.

Autism is defined as a Neurobiological pervasive development disorder that includes lack of social skills and inability to reciprocate to social interactions. The patient may also have intellectual and cognitive deficits and problems in communication (verbal as well as non-verbal).

Ayurveda is the oldest study of medicine and has proved to be very effective when it comes to managing and treating those affected by autism. The earlier an autistic person resorts to Ayurveda, the more effective it is.

Ayurvedic drink recipe for treating the symptoms of autism: (should be taken daily)

  1. 1/3 cup of yogurt
  2. 3/4 cup of water
  3. Cumin
  4. Coriander
  5. Ginger

Or

  1. Diluted Fresh Pomegranate Juice

Ayurveda in Curbing Aggression:
Autism includes heightened aggression and aversion from social interaction due to a neurological condition that impairs the functioning of the brain. Not all autistic patients are violent towards others, but may express their frustration by self-harm and emotional outbursts. One can curb these emotional outbursts by taking herbal supplements. An Ayurvedic herb called Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) which is known for its, anti-anxiety, neuroprotection and antioxidant properties can help considerably.

Regular massages using sandalwood, rose, lavender and gotu kola oils are also very calming and relieving, because it stimulates the blood flow and neuronal responses. Massage also helps in increasing eye contact and social relatedness, less stereotypical behavior and improved sleep.

Ayurvedic Herbs for Autism:

  1. Brahmi; Scientifically known as Bacopa monnieri, Brahmi is an important herb that delays the process of forgetting and improves memory. Not only does Brahmi improve memory, but also increases the grasping power, intellect and speech and also corrects the abnormality of emotions, personality and mood of an autistic individual. It also helps in performing complex tasks such as comprehension, reasoning and learning.
  2. Ashwagandha: Scientifically known as Withania somnifera, Ashwagandha has high affinity for gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors. Low GABA activity is related to cognitive impairment.
  3. Shankhapushpi: Scientifically known as Convolvulus pluricaulis, Shankhapushpi is very effective in improving learning and memory and is highly effective in treating insanity and epilepsy
  4. Centella asiatica: This Ayurvedic herb is used as a medication for insanity, speech disorders and epilepsy, making it a very useful drug for treating autism. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Ayurveda.

1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep.....massage your hair with good ayurvedic oil like bhring ranj oil.....sprinkle water in eyes...take sootshekhar ras...kaparda bhasm and godanti bhasm with honey two times a day.....pranacharya no tens capsule twice a day with warm water.....avoid tea...coffee....junk food...oily food....fermented food....stress...eat green vegetables....drink fruits juices...and 7-8 glass of water.....do pranayama early in the morning....walk for minimum 30 minutes in a day....

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I gave up alcohol 9 years back and after that I suffered from insomnia. My visit to an ayurvedic physician did not help and so I consulted a psychiatrist. He put me on 0.5 mg alprazolam b.i.d which helped but I used to get up in the morning with a jittery feeling and a month later I developed depression. When I went back to him he prescribes clonazepam 0.5 mg. To be taken along with alprazolam. I was fine after this but now after 9 years I have started with depression and restless sleep. My present psychiatrist suggests alternate medicine but is not sure. Can a psychiatrist help me with a solution.

Hello, Practicing yoga with homoeopathic medication helps you in releasing the stress from your body. Brisk walk in a park will help you inhale more fresh air and oxygen for good functioning of the cells and tissues of the body. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Bacopa Monierri 1x/ thrice daily and Kali Phos. 6x/ once at night. Yogasana: Practice the following poses if you don’t have any medical condition or pregnancy or else take an advice from your concern doctor and then only perform these. 1.Balasana: Sit on your heels with your big toes touching and hands resting on your thighs. Lower your belly and chest to rest between your knees, bringing your forehead to the floor. Relax your arms back beside your shins, palms facing up. Soften your breath by taking 5 to 10 long, deep inhalations and exhalations. 2.Savasana: lie back, letting your body sink into and open around the support. End in a supported pose on your back with a folded blanket under the length of the spine to help arch the upper and middle back, and lengthen the lower back. Move your arms a comfortable distance away from your body and anything else around you. Turn your palms to face up. Separate your legs a natural distance apart. Relax your feet and let them roll open. Finally, do a mental scan from head to toe: Where are you holding tension. Release it from every part of your body—including your heart and head. 3.Bhujanasana: Slowly slide forward from Child's Pose to lie facedown. Press your toes and forehead gently into the floor. Rest your palms lightly on the floor on either side of your chest with fingertips pointing forward and elbows bent and hugging in toward your ribcage. Inhale and lift your chest from the heart, pressing only very lightly into your palms and mostly using your back strength to hold your shoulders and chest up. Soften your shoulders. Then lift your hands off the floor completely, broadening across your collarbones and reaching your heart up. Take a couple of deep, slow breaths here. Then as you exhale, place your palms back down and gently lower your chest to floor.

Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.
