I have red eyes from many years. There is no problem with my eyes. What should I do to lessen redness of my eye.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

I have red eyes from many years. There is no problem with my eyes. What should I do to lessen redness of my eye.
Eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye (sclera) become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: • Eye dryness • Too much sun exposure • Dust or other particles in the eye • Allergies • Infection • Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. These may be due to: • Blepharitis: Swelling along the edge of the eyelid. • Conjunctivitis: Swelling or infection of the clear tissue that lines the eyelids and covers the surface of the eye (the conjunctiva). This is often referred to as "pink eye." • Corneal ulcers: Sores on the cornea most often caused by a serious bacterial or viral infection. • Uveitis: Inflammation of the uvea, which includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. The cause is most often not known. It may be related to an autoimmune disorder, infection, or exposure to toxins. The type of uveitis that causes the worst red eye is called iritis, in which only the iris is inflamed. Other potential causes of eye redness include: • Colds or allergies . • Acute glaucoma: A sudden increase in eye pressure that is extremely painful and causes serious visual problems. This is a medical emergency. The more common form of glaucoma is chronic and gradual. • Corneal scratches: Injuries caused by sand, dust, or overuse of contact lenses. Sometimes, a bright red spot, called a subconjunctival hemorrhage, will appear on the white of the eye. This often happens after straining or coughing, which causes a broken blood vessel on the surface of the eye. Most often, there is no pain and your vision is normal. It is almost never a serious problem. Because the blood leaks into the conjunctiva, which is clear, you cannot wipe or rinse the blood away. Like a bruise, the red spot will go away within a week or two. So,visit a local eyespecialist if your problem is in routine .The diagnosis of your problem in eyes can only be made by local examination of eyes

Please donot worry no it's not a eye infection, just get your retina examined with an ophthalmologist and if it's normal than try to ignore them sometimes floaters can occur without any reason.

I feel pain on my eyes when I reading and tears come out. What's the problem sir.

I feel pain on my eyes when I reading and tears come out. What's the problem sir.
This condition is called Eye strain, or asthenopia, in which the eyes get tired from excessive or intense use. It can be annoying, but it tends to disappear with rest. Although it’s not often a serious condition, eye strain could be a symptom of an underlying problem. Eye strain is known to cause fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and headaches Eye strain may lead to other problems, such as: •Headaches •Difficulty Concentrating •Irritability •Burning Sensation •Watery Eyes •Dry Eyes •Photophobia •Eye Pain The first thing you can do is change your environment and work habits. By doing this you can relieve the pain without spending money on treatment If you studying or reading, taking eye breaks for five minutes every hour can lessen the strain on your eyes. Simply closing your eyes for a few moments can also do wonders. Try standing up, moving around, or taking a short walk to help regain concentration. Regular eye exercises that involve focusing on different distances can help prevent future straining. Blink often. Blinking refreshes and replenishes your eyes naturally. If you are having trouble with blinking due to the dryness of your eyes, try using Homoeopathic CINELUBE EYEDROPS (HAPDCO) 3 times daily.

What is cataract, how it does effect the humans and what are the steps to cure cataract. Does it only attacks humans or also animals?

What is cataract, how it does effect the humans and what are the steps to cure cataract. Does it only attacks humans ...
The lens inside the eye works much like a camera lens, focusing light onto the retina for clear vision. It also adjusts the eye's focus, letting us see things clearly both up close and far away. The lens is mostly made of water and protein. The protein is arranged in a precise way that keeps the lens clear and gets light pass through it. But as we age, some of the protein may clump together and start to cloud a small area of the lens. This is a cataract, and over time, it may grow larger and cloud more of the lens, making it harder to see. No one knows for sure why the eye's lens changes as we age, forming cataracts. But certain factors that may cause cataracts or are associated with cataract development. Besides advancing age, cataract risk factors include: •Ultraviolet radiation from sunlight and other sources •Diabetes •Hypertension •Obesity •Smoking •Prolonged use of corticosteroid medications •Statin medicines used to reduce cholesterol •Previous eye injury or inflammation •Previous eye surgery •Hormone replacement therapy •Significant alcohol consumption •High myopia •Family history One theory of cataract formation that's gaining favor is that many cataracts are caused by oxidative changes in the human lens. This is supported by nutritional studies that show fruits and vegetables high in antioxidants may help prevent certain types of cataracts.- Prevention of Cataract Although it iss still a debate if Cataract can be prevented but a number of studies suggest certain nutrients and nutritional supplements may reduce your risk of cataractsSome studies have shown that higher dietary intakes of vitamin E and the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin from food and supplements were associated with significantly decreased risks of cataract.Good food sources of vitamin E include sunflower seeds, almonds and spinach.-Good sources of lutein and zeaxanthin include spinach, kale and other green, leafy vegetables.--Other studies have shown antioxidant vitamins such as vitamin C and foods containing omega-3 fatty acids may reduce cataract risk.Another step you can take to reduce your risk of cataracts is to wear protective sunglasses that block 100 percent of the sun's UV rays when you are outdoors

Hi these exercises are yoga exercises and should be practiced under the guidance of a yoga instructor and it really helps. Those who donot know about yoga exercises for improving eyesight doesn't know its importance. They suggest for laser treatments. Eye exercises include yoga exercises which you have to do regularly. Start up with pranayam (breathing exercises) *tratak is the exercise for eyesight, this can be learned from yoga instructor or you can do as follows madhya tratak-in this you have to concentrate over any long distance stable object for 5-10 mins jyoti tratak-in this you have to keep a candle in level of your eyesight at 5 feet distance and cocentrate over the ignited flame for 5 to 10 mins.

Hello, for spectacle removal you can go for lasik surgery but to ascertain whether you are a suitable candidate for this you have to get some tests done in an eye clinic to calculate your corneal thickness and see its contour. Your eye power should also be stable for atleast 6 months before you opt for surgery. To prevent retinal degenerative changes due to high number take balanced diet with more green vegetables and fruits. Take some multivitamin supplements and fish or fish oil. Take care.

Headache is due to many causes. Irregular food and water intake, inadequate sleep, stress, exposure to bright sunlight are amongst the most common. Improving on your habits and attitude make a lot of difference. Learn meditation and some relaxation exercises. For your eyes.
