Use any good de-pigmentation cream, eg. By vlcc/neutrogena etc. You may also go for laser treatment.

Hello, Apply Homoeopathic medicine – Thiosinaminum Q few drops mixed in a glycerin solution on scars that are visible (as it is less greasy, so is more easily absorbed into the skin). Also take Causticum 200 orally twice daily for 4weeks.

I am losing lots of hair, front of my head is is becoming bald, what to do & what is the cost of hair transplant?
Hi. Are you facing Male pattern baldness or Androgenic alopecia? There are many causes of hairloss: Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. But, in case there are areas of baldness which has gone smooth and shiny, you will have to choose an option of Hair Transplant along with theses medications!). Hair Transplant: In male pattern hairloss of initial stages of 1-2, homoeopathic medicines can arrest the stage where it is already in. But in advanced stages of hairloss of 3, 4, 5 - one can have homoeopathic medicines (3 & 4 stage) along with hair transplant. Hair transplant is a procedure where one's own hair follicle from the back side of the scalp (donor area) is taken out from the root and is placed on his own required area (because of DNA reasons, we can't donate hair follicle to each other, not even to our own kids/ siblings/ parents). And in the whole lifetime, we can only take to around 12000 to 14000 follicles from the back (depending about the condition of the donor area) - it's one day procedure. Go to any renowned hospital, clinic or firm which deals only in hair (they may cost little more from you, but will give you a quality results ultimately. And they only allow plastic surgeon to perform this)! Cost differs from one doctor to other (from Rs. 40-50 per follicle to Rs. 80-90 per follicle). No. of follicles depends upon requirement of your scalp/ baldness and capacity of your donor (back side of the scalp which is never ever affected by DHT) area as well. For eg. for stage 1 - may be 2000-2500 follicles are needed, so you can calculate accordingly.

Any shampoo which will be effective on dandruff? Currently I am using Himalaya anti dandruff but still problem of dandruff persists.

BHMS
Homeopath, Thane
Hi Shampooing your hair everyday will not reduce your dandruff and hairfall at all instead it will worsen this problem. So reduce washing your hair 2times a week.First before washing hair apply oil in the morning or previous night.Don't use anti-dandruff shampoos at all bcoz this will increase the amount of dandruff and hairfall .Don,t eat too spicy and oily food.Include salads in diet and fruits. revert back for treatment

Apple is a miracle fruit for the skin. The alpha hydroxy acids or AHA’s present in apples improves skin color and elasticity of the skin.Soak peeled apple slices in milk for 20 minutes and then blend to form a creamy paste.Place in the freezer for 10 minutes, and then mix a tsp of lemon juice, apply all over your face and neck.Rinse off after 15 minutes with cool water and massage an ice cube. The skin looks baby soft, smooth with a rosy white glow.Follow this for a week to get fair skin naturally.

Indian foods for healthy hair and scalp

  • Walnuts: Walnuts are rich sources of omega 3 fatty acids which promote the health of hair shaft and hair follicles. They also provide moisture to the scalp and prevent scalp dryness.
  • Beans: Beans have high amounts of silica which is known for preventing hair loss. Silica promotes the absorption of vitamins and minerals in the body. Our hair needs these vital ingredients to promote cell growth. Silica is also found in high percentages in potatoes, green peppers, and cucumbers.
  • Carrots: Carrots are rich sources of vitamin e and vitamin a. Vitamin a promotes good eye sight whereas vitamin e promotes hair health and supports fast hair growth. Vitamin a promotes the synthesis of sebum in the scalp. This sebum keeps the scalp moist and lubricated.
  • Tofu: Soy is a rich source of iron. Iron is a vital mineral that prevents hair loss.
  • Green tea: green tea contains a powerful antioxidant called polyphenols which promote hair health. A cup of green tea on a daily basis not only promotes good health, but it also ensures lustrous healthy hair.
  • Milk products: yogurt, cheese, and paneer contain high amounts of proteins and calcium which boost hair and teeth health. It also promotes hair growth. Paneer forms a delicious delicacy in indian households and you may create your own gravy to enjoy paneer indian way.
  • Lentils: In india, most vegetarians rely on lentils as one of the richest sources of protein. Lentils also contain high amounts of folic acids and certain minerals such as selenium and copper which preserve hair glow, hair and scalp health. They also promote hair growth.
  • Coriander: Coriander is an important spice and perhaps one of the most commonly used ingredient in the indian cuisine. So if you are consuming coriander on a daily basis, you have already taken a step to promote hair health- knowingly or unknowingly. Coriander addresses hair fall and hair thinning issues effectively. Corrainder also helps the body to get rid of toxic metals that may prevent the transportation of nutrients to the scalp.
  • Green peas: Green peas have high amount of vitamins and minerals which support a healthy hair growth cycle.
  • Sweet potatoes: Sweet potatoes have rich content of beta carotene that promote a healthy scalp. This in turn, supports hair growth and healthy hair.
  • Bell peppers: Bell peppers have high content of vitamin c. Vitamin c is one of the most important vitamins that promote skin glow and hair health. Vitamin c has antioxidant properties that promote hair growth as well as the cell renewal rate in the scalp.
  • Whole grains: Whole grains contain high amounts of nutrients and dietary fibers which supports hair health.
