Dear lybrateyuser, - As your investigation results are normal your pain may not be of cardiac origin, could be due to acidity - avoid spicy, fried & junk food, chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, avoid more than 1-2 cups of tea, coffee per day, also alcohol, tobacco if you take, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - have 7-8 glasses of water per day - if it is more on exertion then do not strain, lift weight or do strenuous exercise - if pain is persistent then consult a doctor & take his advise.

In ayurveda, Hypertension is referred to as Rakta Capa Vriddhi and it sees the vitiation of vata and pitta doshas as the main cause. Mix 1 teaspoon of onion juice with an equal amount of honey. Take once a day for 1 week. Upon noticing improvement, continue for several more days. Take sarpgandha vati twice a day. Yogendra ras. Akik bhasm works very good in case of hypertension. Avoid salty diet. Oily food. Lower your stress. Do pranayama early morning.

Hi lybrate-user, I can understand your concern. I would advise you to go for a second opinion here, with all your reports. You at least need anti-anginal medicine, including anti-platelet/ anti-coagulant therapies, if you are hesitating to go for angioplasty. Simultaneously, keep your diet and lifestyle streamlined, focus on a mediterranean diet pattern. You must cease smoking, if any, completely. Your lipid profile needs to be managed too. Do focus on anxiety/ stress reduction as well, through regular yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, anxiolytics etc all. Hope this helps. Take care and all the very best. Sincerely, Dr. Pritam (nd) bbsr.

Try doing kapal bhathi. There is a special way of doing it for prostrate patients. Lie down on the floor or bed. Do kapal bhathi in such a way that the strokes are felt on the point where the penis joins the main trunk of the body. This gives a mild internal massage to prostrate. Hence the general health of the prostrate improves. In any case surgery is also not a bad option and should not be ruled out.

Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. No doctor cannot declare a person okay on basis of ecg only. Whenever in doubt, even stress test cannot be done. Troponin test is specific for heart attack. A drop of blood from finger prick is put on a strip, if 2 lines are visible, test is positive. Other tests like cardiac ct scan or angiography to know about blockages can be done later.

Physiotherapy very important. If brain cells are permanently damaged recovery is unlikely. However she is lucky to be walking. Rehab very essential.
