It seems to be sciatica so have a good assessment of low back with a physio. In the mean time take rest and do hot fomentation.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I am suffering from limb girdle type of muscular dystrophy. Now I am 45 years old. I found at the age of 12 years old and it is gradually progressing as the years passed over. Now my condition is critical. I cant get up from the chair. I feel difficulty in walking. My hands are weak. Myopathy is usually a progressive disorder but sometimes it is self arrested. Do physiotherapy to prevent contractures & deformaties. Rule out diabetes & vit. Knee Dislocation - What Causes It?

Kneecap dislocation is a condition wherein the ligaments, responsible to bind the knee bones together, separate from each other. Although a very rare phenomenon in itself, knee dislocation can lead to permanent loss of mobility, if not taken care of immediately after diagnosis.

Causes
Knee dislocation can occur, if you have had recently survived any major accident such as a car crash or taken a fall from a high-storeyed building. A dislocated kneecap might cause significant numbness and severe pain below the knees. In some cases, the knee can get relocated on its own, which might cause the kneecaps to become swollen, numb and extremely painful to live with as time passes. The general structure of the leg might be significantly deformed due to a dislocated kneecap.

Treatments
The doctor can opt for a relocation of the lower leg to revert it to its former position.
b. To prevent future accidents, the doctor will recommend the use of an immobilizer to prevent the kneecaps from bending, and also to initiate the healing process.
c. Under extreme conditions, a dislocated knee might permanently damage the knee bones and the assorted tissues (ligaments). In such cases, a surgery will be recommended to restore normalcy.

It is recommended to regularly follow up with an orthopaedist to avoid future complications. One might also take the help of crutches which might help to move the kneecap in a much more controlled way. Just be a bit extra cautious while engaging in sports such as skiing, bungee jumping, or any other contact sports.

Assuming there is no history of injury from past 1 week, may be the pain is due to osteoarthritis, you need to get an x- ray done, to rule out that. Till that time you can apply" pain killer oil" a homoeopathic product from similia company, this oil has marvelous results on soft tissue as well as arthritic changes of the joints.

4 years back my right knee got injured, my knee's ligament got cracked while played football. So, still sometimes it's disconnects upper bone and lower bone, of my right leg in up & down roads, when its disconnects its pains a lot. Then I have to bring to the normal position. Then I feel no pain. How to recover soon my cracked ligaments.

sounds like you have damaged your ACL in the knee. if you are having instabillity symptoms then you would require surgery (arthroscopic ACL reconstruction).

Hi ~use elastic bandages (such as an ace bandage) to wrap your ankle. ~wear a brace to support your ankle. ~use crutches for walking till swelling and pain subsides. ~keep your foot raised above your heart with pillows when resting or sleeping to reduce swelling. ~get plenty of rest and do not put weight on your ankle. Still you don't get relief than visit physiotherapist as physical examination /xray may be required for further investigation. Wishing you a good health.
