At your age, knee pain is not a very common. If only pain is the issue then this must be because of fatigue and if other signs of inflammation are also present then that must need proper evaluation. Consult anytime.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Make sure that the backpack you invest in has a padded back, padded, contoured, shoulder and chest straps, a waist belt, compression straps and reflective materials as these will reduce the pressure on the back, distribute the load to the pelvis and prevent the contents of the bag from digging into the back.

When there is movement in any joints sound come from it. I noticed that it is increasing in other joints also day by day. I am not having any pain on movement of joints. What should I do and could be the reason for it.

Dear lybrate user, Most of the time the clicking or snapping is due to everyday use and changes that occur naturally within our joints.  As we age this causes some of the surfaces to roughen —thus when they rub against one another they will snap, click, or pop within the shoulder.    In the majority of circumstances snapping or clicking of the joints is not an issue to worry about.    Painless clicking and popping usually does not require any treatment at all.

I am a 23 year old male suffering from pain in left side of the back neck, shoulders and a specific spot (like a nerve) in the back chest. Its been paining for over a year. Sometimes the pain passes like a shock to the chest, left hand, finger tips (like pricking). Some days pain is severe. I have consulted one or two doctors and had some medicines, one of the doctor said a nerve has been pulled while lifting weight. But even after I took the medicines I am not relieved from the pain. Please advice me what to do next.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Ok tk diet plans for reduce weight and for back pain. Avoid exercise and strain full activity like long sitting avoid heavy weight toward bending. Do physiotherapy treatment and rest after relief do stretching exercise of spine.

I am 23 year old, I have pain in my hip and beneath the knee but when I am touching or pressing my hip and down of knee then there is no pain, but I am having pain in my hip and beneath knee, when I sitting, raising foot up and down. Its from last one month I use a medicine "DOLONEX DT" tablet for 5 days, it gave relief for some days, but it again paining. I think it might be problem in bone. Please suggest me sir/Mam.

Hi, You have to make sure that there is no injury to any tissues in these joints. There is no mentioning of any previous fall or injuries. There are different types of arthritis, joint diseases but those can be easily treated at this early stage. When your digestive system is not working properly for a prolonged duration, many toxins will be produced. These toxins may be accumulated in various joints to cause pain and inflammation in them. So the correction of indigestion is a very important step in treating those kinds of joint pains.

My mother is aged 90 years ,her left clavicle broken on 23rd March, taken to an orthopedic she was given brace to wear 21 days and vitamin D and calcium syrup other than paracetamol tab (for use in the event of pain). Now I am not satisfied with outcome of the treatment regime as there appears some lacking in alignment to me. Is there any way to ascertain the state or progress of healing and for corrective further treatment? And how to go about it?

Dear, The treatment for clavicle fracture can be conservative (non-surgical) or surgical. Most patients do well with non-surgical treatment although there will be some overlap of the bones. However usually there is no restriction of function due to the overlap. What is more important is union of the fracture. The other option is surgical treatment with plates and screws. This is usually needed for severe displacement or for those who need early recovery. The risk of non-union is there in both treatment options. If you have further clarifications please visit an orthopaedician near you.

Please note that these two are chronic disease/problem and need proper treatment. Hence you should take proper homeopathic treatment for the cure of both the diseases. For the time being take five phos 4 tablets twice daily and mag phos 6x - 4 tablets twice daily for next 2 weeks and get back to me for further treatment.

1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. This will give you relief in mild to moderate cases. Give feedback after 4 days. LIFE-STYLE CORRECTION 1) Correct your sitting posture. 2) Take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) Foot should rest to floor easily. 4) Take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) Do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days

Hi! My age is 32 I have cervical spondylitis I did show to orthopedic Doctor he gave me some pain medicines but still the pain is there I feel it's some nerve pain near my left ear which is causing pain in my left side head and left shoulder it jas also swollen near my left shoulder should I consult a neurologist for this nerve pain. Do warm foamentation, traction, few neck exercises which are to start after relief from pain. Use smooth pillow with low height. For time being if pain is unbearable in slightly movement then only use cervical collar.

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

I have leg pain for tow months and when I walk something is moving my leg and I want know what happen with me.
Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps. Only us therapy, rest with regular exercise will work out to overcome with this problem. Need drug treatment to reduce inflamation under physician. Splinting is a good option too for resting position.
