Hi, as per your description it can be some fungal infection, but without examining the skin it is difficult to conclude the disease. More over is there any itching on that part, does it aggravate by any factor like exposure to sun or perspiration etc, is it gradually increasing, is there a family history of similar problem, as per your answer I can guide you further.

My mother has severe leg pain. I am treating her with acupuncture. It seems to be reducing. Hot fermentation also seems to help. Any other method that wil be helpful pls suggest.

The sexual problems must be treated along with treatment for infertility. 3 years is enough time. Now, both you and your partner should go to doctor as we need to determine the cause of not having kids to treat it by the earliest so that you can enjoy parenthood.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. Until then use candid ointment. You may consult me in person too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

First of all you have to check your pregnancy test by your urine. There are maximum chances of getting pregnant in the mid cycle days of menstrual cycle. If your cycle is of 28 days (1st day to be counted on the day menstrual flow starts) the 14 th day bears the maximum chances of getting pregnant. On the both sides of 14 th day chances of conceiving gradually decreases with minimum chance (not zero) near 1st & 28 th day of cycle. If you want more details then consult me. Have a nice day. Good luck.

I am suffering from chickenpox for last few days. Can you please tell me what precautions should I have to take in such conditions?

PGDHHM, MBBS
General Physician, Delhi
Thanks for the query. Chickenpox recovers in 7-10 days. I would suggest you to - avoid going out as it is contagious until all the scabs fall. Take bath using cool water or lukewarm water. Do not scratch the blisters. You can apply calamine lotion. Over-the-counter medicines can help relieve symptoms such as fever and itching. Hope this helps you.

It would be worthwhile to start insulin - glargine 06 units at night after consultation with your physician and plan to reduce glimepride In case you are not interested in insulin, I will suggest sitagliptin/metformin combination It will be advisable to consult your physician.

Hi Doctor, I am a 36 years old guy. My testosterone level is quite low. Its 245 ng/dL. My weight is 80 kgs and my height is 170 cm. I am overweight. I have high cholesterol and fatty liver. I am not diabetic nor I have high blood pressure. My problem is that I can't maintain my erection. Sometimes I can't get an erection. Even having lot of stimulation. Even getting oral sex, I barely get hard. Is it due to low testosterone? Currently I am taking multivitamin, vitamin c, vitamin d with k2, fish oil, ashwagandha and oyster extract. Its almost 2 months I am having it. I notice that my semen is pretty thick than before. But still maintaining erection is worst. Without stimulation, I get flaccid within 6-7 seconds. The time is accurate. I noticed it. What can I do for it? My married life is ruined by this. Please help me.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is commonly called impotence. It’s a condition in which a man can’t achieve or maintain an erection during sexual performance. Symptoms may also include reduced sexual desire or libido Exercise regularly. Really. Make it a priority to get outside or go to the gym and walk, run, swim, bike, or do strength training at least 4 times a week. According to a study conducted by Harvard, walking 30 minutes a day caused a 41% drop in risk for ED. Getting regular exercise aids circulation, getting your blood pumping through your entire body. When it's time to sustain an erection, better circulation is key Keep your weight down. Larger waistlines are associated with higher rates of ED.Putting in the work to slim down can lead to huge improvements in the bedroom. Make sure you're eating a healthy diet loaded with plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Quit smoking. Smoking can make ED worse, since it interferes with your circulatory system and is linked to diseases that cause ED. If you're having trouble sustaining an erection, now might be the time to give up the cigarettes for good. Avoid alcohol. Alcohol is another substance that has a huge impact on erections. After a few drinks, many men of all ages find it much more difficult to stay hard. Exercise your pelvic floor. The pelvic floor helps the penis stay hard during erections by pressing on a vein that keeps blood from leaving until the erection is over. Men who exercise their pelvic floor have better results than those who rely solely on lifestyle changes to correct erectile dysfunction Remove stressors from your life. Anxiety is one of the biggest culprits when it comes to ED. If you can find a way to destress, you'll be more likely to maintain erections. Think about the biggest sources of stress in your life right now. What can you do to give yourself a break? Practice mindfulness. Do you find yourself getting distracted by worries instead of living in the moment during sex? Mindfulness is the act of being completely in the present, both physically and mentally. Clear your mind and focus on the sensations your body is feeling during sex Communicate with your partner. Do you feel comfortable and accepted when it comes to your sexual performance? If you're worried about meeting your partner's too-high expectations or living up to some kind of standard, it will be harder to maintain an erection - it's called performance anxiety. If you think your partner's judgement might be hindering your ability to have satisfying sex, you need to communicate your needs and find ways to make your sexual environment more inviting. Learn more about sex. If you have deep-rooted anxieties or guilt related to sex, these negative emotions might be causing your ED. Learning more about sex can be a good way to feel more comfortable with your body and better understand your needs in bed. Read up on sex techniques or take a sex positive workshop as a way to open your mind to new possibilities and increase your comfort level. FOR MEDICATION CONSULT ONLINE IN PRIVATE
