Hello, please send your all investigation report This type of backache is may be due to overweight or deficiency of vitamin d3 and calcium or due to poor posture. Till then follow these advice:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. I will explain you stiffness and pain reducing techniques in the next session. Wish you a happy and pain free life thanks.

Pain at more than one place or all over the body is quite common. Kindly rule out diabetes & vitamin d deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Proper physiotherapy will help. Medicines will also be needed. Antioxidants like caldikind plus (from mankind) 1 tab /day helps. Paracetamol 250mg bd/tds will also give you relief kindly make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients of the brands you are going to take.

Dear lybrate-user if you are overweight you should avoid jogging as you body weight impact the ground and you can get serious injuries in your knees and legs so stop jogging instead of that do cycling or swimming which is non impactive and also you can do brisk walking but avoid jogging.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference? I feel pain from my lower neck and shoulder. I also have noticed from x-ray that the space between c5 and c6 of my spine have increased and when I move my neck towards back side I listen a clicking sound from the join of neck and shoulder. your cervical joints are in poor condition . you need proper treatment. 1.do neck exercise regularly . 2.use nasya 3.use oil massage with hot fomentation. 4.take griva vasti at any ayurvedic panchkarma center. this is the most effective treatment . 5.consult privately for ayurvedic treatment.

Hello lybrate-user, ankles are weight bearing joints and as your weight is on higher side it is causing strain on the ankle joints. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. I am having lower back pain with burning kind of sensation from last 4 years. It pains on the both sides of the back bone. History: Almost 4 years back while lying on my elbow on bed I slipped slightly and felt a small twitch in almost middle of the back near spinal cord. Next morning I felt very strong pain in back and the back felt very stiff. I consulted a nearby doctor and he prescribed some medicines. The medicine relieved pain for some time. But after that the pain started to re occur though there was no stiffness. I consulted in Manipal Hospital Bangalore 3-4 months after that. They took x Ray and they said everything looks OK. They asked me to do some exercises. I did that for few days but I did not feel any difference. After few more months I consulted a different doctor in Bangalore. After examination he recommended for internal physio therapy sessions. They used to rub some lubricant kind of thing on the lower back and do some massage kind of thing with a vibrating patch. I went for 5-6 sessions and felt some what relieved but the pain started to occur again. I consulted an orthopedic 2 months back. He gave me some medicines and asked me do some exercises which I did for 1 month. But still it is same. If I I run for 15-20 min and the body gets little warm up it feels relaxed in the back also. Can you guide me what should I do to get cured?

Hi, kindly get mri of lumbar spine done to see disc, foramen, nerve, facet joints and sacroiliac joints which might be your source of problem. Once diagnosis is confirmed it can be treated, as per your history I don't see you have been diagnosed properly, moreover burning sensation signifies neuropathic component (nerve involvement) along with pain, which requires close assessment.
