The only way to increase the breast size is to have surgery for it. There are no non surgical methods for it and no medicines and exercises for it. Breast silicone implant is the most standard and safe surgery for breast enlargement.

Hello sir, one of my friend has a bad habit of masturbate since last 6-7 yrs regularly (as he told). Now he is worried that is this really bad for him and his future. And wants to quit. So please tell how he can stop it and how harmful is this for him. Thank you!

Hello sir, one of my friend has a bad habit of masturbate since last 6-7 yrs regularly (as he told). Now he is worrie...
Masturbation is not really bad, it is the addiction to it that is bad. Not even the number of years is a problem but the frequency and compulsiveness to it is to be considered for its ill-effects. At his age he may feel it difficult and it can become addictive if he has alone time, if he obsesses about it, and if he is not into relationships. The problem with addiction to this is that he may go on to prefer masturbation to heterosexual contact, even when he is married. That obviously would be an insult to his wife and will lead to a lot of conflict. Heterosexual contact is very wholesome and the physiology is made exactly for penile and vaginal contact. He will instead enjoy a poor replica of this and not know or care for the difference. The second thing that can happen with addiction is that it will become compulsive and will have no boundaries or limits, since it can be done all by himself, whenever, wherever, and however too. The big problem a lot of children get into is the guilt around this. A useful way to discharge the energy is to get into contact games, or exercises, or even hobbies to channelize it. Also he should not spend too much time alone, and needs to keep his mind occupied with other interesting things and a lot of socializing. Even if he is not interested in marriage for whatever reasons it will help him to get into a friendship with a girl and enjoy the relationship where there will be a lot of excitement when he falls in love. Right now his hormones may be very active and his physiological apparatus is primed and ready for sexual stimulation. But because of his age and even otherwise it is important to develop good control and not feed into his impulses. Keeping himself occupied and living a healthy social life are the keys to manage his sexual drives.

Varicose Veins: Using Sclerotherapy to Get Rid of It

MBBS, PGDA
Trichologist, Delhi
Varicose Veins: Using Sclerotherapy to Get Rid of It

Varicose veins are enlarged and gnarly veins and they commonly appear in the feet and legs. They occur when veins get filled with blood and they are often red or bluish purple in color.

The main cause of varicose veins is the when the vein dysfunctions. Veins have valves in them that are supposed to keep the blood flowing forward, but if they fail to do so, blood in the vein starts to collect rather than continue towards the heart. Since the legs are furthest from the heart, varicose veins mostly affect the legs. Gravity, too, is a contributing factor as it makes it hard for the blood to flow up the vein.
Out of all the treatments available for varicose veins, sclerotherapy is the most effective.

What is sclerotherapy:

Sclerotherapy is a form of injection therapy that is designed to improve the way the varicose veins appear on your legs.

The Procedure: During the procedure, a solution called sclerosant is injected in the veins that scars and destroys the vein's internal lining which causes the blood to clot. After the solution is injected, pressure over the veins is applied to prevent the return of the blood as you stand up. Compression stockings are worn for maintaining the pressure.

After the Procedure: There is no prolonged recovery time for sclerotherapy. You can move around immediately after the procedure, but do not strain yourself too much. However, bed rest is not recommended as it might stress the vein. You probably have to keep wearing the compression stockings for a few days more.

Reasons for Choosing Sclerotherapy:
Sclerotherapy is best for treating the following problems-

  1. Small veins and spider veins that do not cause severe damages
  2. Smaller varicose veins that might return even after vein stripping surgery (the surgical removal of the superficial saphenous vein with minimal incisions to treat varicose veins).
  3. Larger varicose veins
  4. Follow up to any other surgery to treat varicose veins

Risks involved:
Sclerotherapy, like any other treatment, has certain risks. The risks include-

  1. Skin discoloration
  2. The varicose veins can still return after the treatment
  3. Bruising, itching, blistering and pain in the treated area
  4. Mild or severe allergic reaction to the solution (sclerosant) used
  5. Blood clots in the deep vein system. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor.

Headache more as the day progresses / blocking of the nose are the main symptoms of sinusitis. In frontal sinusitis the headache is present in the region of the forehead as the frontal sinuses are in that region. In maxillary sinusitis the pain is in the region of the cheek. In ethymoidal sinusitis the pain is in the region between the eyes. In spenoidal sinusitis the pain is in the region on the crown of the head. A ct scan will confirm which sinuses are involved. I have problem Regarding my periods which never comes regularly. Sometimes it skips also. And there is a lot of pain ...
Hello- irregular periods and pain might be due to low blood volume and iproper tone of uterine muscles. Try this- 1) eat figs daily with milk. 2) increase the amount of dairy products in your meals. 3) avoid fast foods and spicy diet specially during the menses time. 4) use shatavari powder with milk daily.

For a depressed person withdrawal is very harmful. You have to make an effort to socialize with people whether you like them or not. If you have depression then there are some major ramifications to take into account. I believe there may be some genetic predisposition or there has been some childhood issue, related to anger, that needs urgent attention. You must go and meet with a counselor immediately and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor you must do so and cooperate to your utmost. Please visit these professionals along with your parents. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

Sir, My son is suffering from mouth ulcer two times in a week only in tongue so please send the medicine Thanking you...
Ulcers generally take 1-2 weeks to heal completely. Recurrent ulcers can be due to local mouth conditions such as rough teeth surface or rough mouth appliances or dentures. It can also b due to general nutrtional deficiency, digestion prob, stress etc. Certain bacterial n viral infections also cause ulcers. Treatment: start on multivitamin tabs n iron supplements if your hb% levels r low. Apply dologel oral ointment on ulcers thrice daily. Avoid spicy n oily food, alcohol, tea n coffee. Drink plenty of water n hv fibrous foods. Visit dentist to rule out oral factors responsible for ulcers.

Dear lybrate-user, it will be worthwhile looking at your hormone and vit profile, these should include ft3, ft4, tsh, vit b12, 25oh vit d, estradiol, progesterone, total and free testo, dhea, cortisol. There is a specific protocol for blood draw which you will need to follow. Remember even if the reports are within normal biological range you may still need to optimze the same. If you need thyroid supplementation, the hairfall is more likely to respond to t3 supplementation rather than t4. I always prefer bioidentical hormones for hotmone supplementation.
