Hello doc I'm a mother of 20 days old girl. and I want to know when can I have outside food or junk food I mean after how many months. and doctor when can you plan to diet? Thanks in advance.

PGDD, RD, Bachelor of Home Science

Hello doc I'm a mother of 20 days old girl. and I want to know when can I have outside food or junk food I mean after...
Hye Thanks for the query. There is no ideal time to have junk foods. Junk foods are best avoided. As for outside food, you need to take care to eat only cooked foods, avoid outside fried foods and any food that is not in season. As for avoiding junk or fried or outside foods, you need to be very careful till your child is breastfeeding. Getting into weight loss must be after baby is 8 month to 1 year. If you eat right you will lose weight automatically after Lactation for a year.

Dear user. FERTILE PHASE is the phase of a female's menstrual cycle when an egg (ovule) is released from the ovaries. In humans, ovulation occurs about midway through the menstrual cycle, after the follicular phase. The few days surrounding ovulation (from approximately days 10 to 18 of a 28 day cycle), constitute the most fertile phase. So if you have ejaculatory sexual inter course from day 10 from the first day of period and to day 20, the chances of pregnancy are much more. There are many determinants of pregnancy. You should be sexually matured. Your partner should be sexually matured. The period of your partner should be in the fertile stage. Her egg and your sperm cells should healthy enough. Then her uterus should be capable to get conceived. If all these were satisfied, the pregnancy could be a result. Take care.

Women's Guide To Getting The Timing Right - Your Fertility!

Your ovulation cycle is largely ignored until you decide to have a baby. Suddenly, the ovulation cycle becomes more than just a countdown to your next period. When you're trying to get pregnant, you need to identify when you're ovulating to calculate the time available to you to conceive a child. Ovulation occurs mid cycle, every month for most women. It is usually accompanied by a number of symptoms. Some of these are:

Ovulation Pain
Some women may experience an abdominal pain when they ovulate. This can range from a mild sensation to a constant pain. The latter is not normal and may be caused by ovarian cysts or scarring by a previous surgery

Higher Basal body temperature
Basal body temperature is the lowest temperature recorded in the body when it is at rest. At the time of ovulation, this temperature normally increases as a result of the release of progesterone. To use this method to determine ovulation, you will need a basal thermometer. Take your temperature every morning as soon as you wake up and record it in a chart to spot temperature changes. Basal body temperature can also be used to determine if recent intercourse has resulted in a pregnancy or not. If the basal temperature remains elevated for 18 days after intercourse, it is safe to say that you are pregnant.

Cervical mucus
The mucus released by the vagina changes according to the stage of the ovulation cycle. This is caused by the fluctuations of hormone levels. At the time of ovulation, cervical mucus is clear, slippery and highly elastic. This can be compared to a raw egg white in colour and consistency. After ovulation, this mucus will turn stickier and denser.

Cervical position
Your cervix itself will shift at the time of ovulation. Some women can easily feel this change while it may take a little time for others to identify it. The cervix is usually positioned low and feels hard and closed. However, just before ovulation, it will usually open up and soften a little as well as pull back. Cervical position also needs to be regularly charted to determine when the position changes.

Spotting
Spotting mid cycle is not always a sign of an early period. It may also signal ovulation. This is usually a result of the sudden drop in estrogen that precedes ovulation. Since the progesterone levels are not high at this time, the lining of the uterus may leak a little blood.

Other signs of ovulation include:

  • Breast tenderness
  • Heightened sense of smell, taste etc
  • Increased libido
  • Increased energy levels and
  • Water retention

If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Gynaecologist.

Mirena and nexaplanon are hormoe releasing devices, mirena is an intra uterine device ,it's duration of action is 5 years, it's effectiveness as contraceptive is 99%.nexaplanon is a flexible implant which has to be inserted on inner side of arm ,duration of action is 3 years and effectiveness is 99& both have to be removed once duration is over or if you want you can remove it earlier. You can also go for copper T insertion ,it's also an intra uterine device which releases copper, duration of action is 3 ,5 and 10 years.

Your tsh is not that much raised that you immediately require thyroxine. I think you should wait. I recommend you to go for kapalbhati pranayam daily for 15 minutes. To start with do for 3-5 minutes and slowly increase up to 15 minutes in 15-20 days. Please take guidance of a yoga professional in the start. The procedure for doing this is to sit in a comfortable crossed leg posture, sukhasana (using padmasana or vajrasana is the best) and keep your back straight. Rest your hands on the knees using gyana mudra or chin mudra. O inhale deeply through your nose, this will expand your abdomen. O exhale using a great force so that your abdominal muscles contract to the maximum o these exhalations are similar to your breath outs, but they should be forceful o make sure while exhaling, the air should be pushed out of your lungs by contracting the diaphragm o after exhalation again do inhalation, but this time without any effort. To do this just relax your lungs, they will automatically expand and fill with air o one cycle of kapalabhati pranayama include one deep inhalation, then forceful exhalation and an effortless inhalation. O a learner can practice up to three rounds, each with 15 exhalations. Small breaks between each round are allowed.

you need to have ideal weight and regular periods with good semen parameters of husband for pregnancy to happen naturally..as you have weight on higher side so first you need to loose it at least 5-10% over a period of six months. besides you have PCOS which is add on factor for irregular periods. first and foremost step is lifestyle modifications like weight loss..eating less carbs n junk food.. moderate exercise brisk walking etc. see gyne near by for detailed work up to rule out other add on hormonal disturbances associated..

Hello Dear,Periods occur when the egg formed during each menstrual cycle in the female body is not fertilized and hence ejected out of the reproductive system along with blood and several other tissue cells. The duration of each menstrual cycle is about 28 days Most women will experience their monthly period right from the time they are 13 to the time they are 50. For many women, their monthly period is nothing more than an annoyance; but other women may suffer some problems. Visit us at www.Malhotraayurveda.Com

Please do a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If it is negative take it as periods. Your periods are only scanty because uterus lining is not growing. Deviry is only progesterone and it will again thin the endoetriumI. If your pregnancy test is negative you have to take both estrogen and progesterone combined pill which is the oral contraceptives pill to build up your endometrium and get a freelowHere contraceptive is given to build uterus lining since it contains estrogen.
