symptoms of diabetes are incrased thirst, increased appetite, increased urination , loss of weight, blurring of vision, skin infections, leg cramps andmany more. There are no mentioned stages but for your understanding Stage 1 when it is controlled by diet and exercise. Stage 2 when it is controlled by diet, exercise and drugs. stage 3 when you require insulin to control it without any complications. Stage 4 Insulin and complications are present. There is no way to prevent it except for life style modifications

See at this age incontinence of bladder is common. Since he is quite aged. I advice you to put a condom catheter for your father and connect it to a urine collecting bag. Just be careful that elastic of condom catheter should not be so tight. You can ask a doctor for home visit. He will apply the catheter as well as can prescribe medications. Thanks.

At 70 the problems with erection are many but if aroused, you can masturbate. Masturbation is a mechanical release of sexual feelings after one achieves erections. So the bottom line is masturbate when aroused. Do not make it a habit to do it daily unless you are aroused daily. Some men do habitual masturbation vefore sleeping or at waking up etc, this doesnot go well as it creates conflicts where the person wishes his daily masturbation and he is not aroused. For good erection one needs to evaluate your physical ailments like blood pressure, diabetes etc. If these are there you can seek help of your physician who is treating these diseases.

Hi Take brahmi vati...smriti sagar ras and praval panchamrit..make its powder and mix it.....then take these medicines with honey twice a day...1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep....do pranayama early morning for freshness..avoid oily food...junk food.....avoid alcohol consumption...eat green vegetables.........walk for at least 45 minutes a day

Wash the private parts 2-3 times daily with mild soap or with Cetrim soap. Better take bath at least 2 times daily Dry the private part in fan's wind (or hot blowers wind in cold climate) before wearing clothes. Buy a small table fan dry parts with that. Keep 2 small towels (soft ones, better parts of old sootee dhoti but well cleaned) with you always. Whenever you get sweating over your private parts, take one towel, wet it with water and swipe on your private parts. Afterthat use another dry towel, and scrub the parts. Then dry the parts in fan's wind or by blowing wind with some thin copy or newspaper or old manual fan. To keep parts dry is very essential Use Clotrimazole+Betamethasone cream like Candid-B 2-3 times daily after washing and drying the parts Take Fluconazole 150 mg once daily for 3 days and then once weekly (better on every Sunday) for 5-6 months Take Vitamin A preparation like Aquasol (25000 iu) once daily for 7 days followed by Becadexamin once daily for 2-3 months.

Dinner is one meal that is the most treasured of all meals, especially because it is served after a hard day’s work and sweat. First and foremost take medicines for diabetes regularly. And follow these simple advices -Eat regular meals throughout the day at same time everyday. Avoid skipping meals. -Include high fibre foods at each meal i.e.Legumes (beans/lentils, nuts (almonds, walnut, eggs etc) ? -Take fruit as a healthy snack i.e. Apples, pears, papaya, mausami, jamun, guava -Avoid: grapes, mango, bananas, jackfruit,cheeku . -Vegetables to be included in plenty-at least 2 servings per meal. Include foods like daliya, oats, -Reduce the fat intake, fried foods, cakes, pastries and foods containing palm oil and coconut oil. Reduce salt intake in the diet to 1 tsp or less per day.Limit intake of sugar and sugary foods like sweets? if so desire can take sugarfree as sugar substitute . DIABETIC DIET CHART:: morning: 4-5 almonds soaked overnight in water or 1-2 walnuts 6: 30 a. M: tea + 2 mariegold biscuits (only for those who can't skip morning tea) 8: 00-9: 00 a. M: 2 roti + subzi + daliya /upma/poha/raw cheese/sprouts + 1 glass skimmed milk 11: 00-12: 00 a. Dear lybrate user, you may be suffering from a clinical condition called phimosis. The most conventional method to get rid of it is surgery. However, if you are unwilling to undergo surgery then you can try the following process at home. 1) buy betamethasone cream from local allopathic shop. During buying you should check the composition of the cream to confirm whether it contains 0.05% betamethasone in it. If you cannot find 0.05% betamethasone cream then you can buy any local anaesthetic gel (e. G. Lidocaine, lignocaine, xylocaine) from allopathic retail shop. 2) apply a little amount of that anaesthetic gel at the lower part of the prepuce of penis where the foreskin remains attached. 3) after application of the gel, retract the foreskin backwards as far as you can. Due to the anaesthetic property of the gel you will be able to retract the foreskin backwards to some extent more than you can do in normal condition. 4) release the foreskin when you feel pain 5) again repeat the same process. Do it continuously for at least 30 minutes in a day. Within a month you will feel that your foreskin has become loose.

Hello doctor I am 30 yrs old male from india. I had a protected vaginal intercourse with a csw (moods condom - latex made) on 13th march 2015. I don't know her hiv status, she was healthy! this is the first time I was with csw. I received protected blowjob as well. I kissed her lips for 1 min which was not protected. What are my chances of hiv infection with above exposures? after the incident I was fearing that I might have got hiv infection. I did not experience any symptoms till yet. No fever, no diarrhea but I have slight neck pain on left side (no swollen nodes) due to the the fear, I did couple of tests following that incident! hiv I -ii rapid antibody test on 15th march -2015 - results negative also tested for std such as vhdl, hcv - results negative hiv I -ii rapid antibody test on 23rd march -2015 - results negative also due to the extreme anxiety, I did hiv rna pcr tests on 30-march (17 days post exposure) - below are the details of the test. Nucleic acid testing for hiv -i (rna) nucleic acid sequence based analysis for hiv-i viral observed values: lower than detectable limits (analytical sensitivity 53iu/ml) I also did a hiv I ag & total abs to hiv I & ii (on april 10 =>28 days post exposure) by eclia which came as non -reactive. Can I be 100% sure now that I am hiv negative and don't need any further testing for hiv (either for hiv-i & hiv-ii)? is hiv I ag & total abs to hiv I & ii by eclia a 4th generation test? if yes, the result is non -reactive after 28 days for me is conclusive, so can I be sure that I am not having hiv I & ii? thanks a ton doctor for your response. Your response is really helpful to release my anxiety. I have few more doubts, kindly request you to answer. It is not necessary that csw wil be having hiv. Good that your test are negative. But window period for infection can be upto 1 year.
