Do consult neuro physiotherapist for any spinal cord vertebrae lesions and do have vitamin-d deficiency thru nabl lab have leg strengthening exercise once pain subsides regularly.

Hi . I have a leg pain since 2 years. I try many treatment but all fall. So please sir help me as soon as possible.
Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

What exactly is a spine block injection? Will it work long-term for low back pain due to disc problems?
A spine block or an epidural injection usually does not give good result or long standing relief in discogenic low back ache. Moreover we need to look at the type of disc prolapse n accordingly there r multiple treatments like foraminal block, facet block n intra discal procedures which relieve the pain n in many cases treat the problem for ever.

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.

I'm feeling pain when I walking on road my knees are paining so why is solution please help me solving problem.
Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and mannual therapy will help in painfree movement. I have spinal tb in l3 and l4. I have done 3 months of treatment and now have stopped this ethambutol medicine from 3 days and my throat is very sore and dry. I am having trouble in swallowing saliva! is it because of medicine or is it something else?

My mother was very much pain in two knees, so I operated both knees by apollo doctors advice, pain was relief, after two years my mothers left knee pain started whenever 500 m walking. Please give your advice, how to reduce this or avoid pain.

I would like to review the case & reassess the problem. Anyway you may try kindly show me digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. The muscle pain which you are feeling in your chest region may actually be strain in intercostal muscles. Please give it time of 2-3 weeks, stop any sporting activity if you are involved in till your pain subsides, take a short course of anti inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or tab paracetamol for 5-7 days and let me know how you are feeling in 10 days time otherwise we will get some blood investigations done for you.
