1. Do regular aerobic exercise like brisk walk for 30 minutes every day 2. Reduce your weight if overweight 3. Reduce salt intake 4. Drink plenty of water 5. Take bland diet, avoid spicy, oily, junk saturated fat and cholesterol rich diet. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits, 6. Stop smoking and consumption of alcohol, tobacco, 7. Avoid stress, anxiety, physical and mental exertion 8. Do yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercise 9. Monitor your bp regularly and consult physician for treatment 10. Have adequate sleep for 7-8 hours daily.

Dear lybrate user please try to bring some change in your lifestyle like waking up early in the morning and going for a walk, doing some exercises. You can also join some gym. I would suggest that you start maintaining a daily diary. Write your thoughts and associated feelings there. Try to reflect upon the reasons for these negative thoughts. Whenever these thoughts crop up in your mind try to distract yourself. Most important suggestion is that along with these medicines you please start consulting a psychologist and take up regular one on one counseling sessions. My husband suffers Acidity and Snoring since v got married (almost 2 years back). Recently he had a blood test and v discovered that his total cholesterol levels are high at 260mm/Hg. Another big problem is his very very low sex drive. And also premature ejaculation. He gets nightfall also quite frequently. Please Help. Wat can b probable reasons for all the above stated problems. And wat shud b the solution.

give him less cholesterol diet i.e. whole grain foods, avoid oily foods, spicy foods, give him anti-cholesterol medicines .avoid stress for premature ejaculation , give him complete healthy diet. give him ginseng powder natural power for men.

I have been suffering for headache for the pass 4 months now sometime severe and sometimes mild almost everyday for relief I am taking tab sumo or tab combiflam 1 tab morning and evening to get relief what will be the course of my headache. I don't usually sleep at night until morning am an IT student and completed my MCA what should I take to stop this frustrated headache pls help.

1.Take paracetamol 500mg,1 tablet sos after food up to a maximum of 3 tablets daily, 2.Drink plenty of water 3.Take rest If you have recurrent attack of headache 1.It could be a tension headache due to stress, strain,depression,agitation, Hypertension or migraine. 2.Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, take adequate sleep for 7-8 hours daily 3.Go for regular exercise 4.Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5.Check for refractive error, sinusitis Hemoglobin, BP 6. Consult Neurologist to rule out other causes of headache 7.consult me for further advice

Main type of fat found in all kinds of olive oil is monounsaturated fatty acids which is a good fat. It lowers your total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels. So good for heart. Foods rich in iron, b12 are liver, red meat, dried fruits such as apricots, raisins, nuts, beans, green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and broccoli, whole grains, fruits. Dairy products.
