I am a 20 yr student. I am having mouth wounds since a week? What is the cure for this?

MDS - Periodontics
Dentist, Thane
I believe by mouth wounds you mean to say mouth ulcers. There are multiple reasons which can cause mouth ulcers. Most common is stress. Other reasons could be vit. B deficiency or other oral conditions. Mouth ulcers generally last for almost a week and after that they heal up. So if it is almost a week then wait for 2-3 days, if your ulcers dont heal then please show it to your nearby dentist. Also if you are having recurrent problem of mouth ulcers then its best to show it to dentist as soon as possible.

I usually got mouth ulcers every week. What should I do.

BDS
Dentist,
It might be because of vitamin deficiency. Take becosule tablet once a day for 10 days. And for temporary relief you can use mucopain gel.

Hello, bad breath could be because of deposits on your teeth or food lodged in your teeth. Visit a dentist get your scaling and polishing done. Brush twice daily, maintain proper brushing technique, floss regularly and rinse after every meal. Visit your dentist every 6 months.

BDS
Dentist,
My tooth has been decay and I want to remove gems from it can you pls suggest me some medicine.
Hi, from what you have mentioned above, it seems you have got cavities in your teeth. Cavities cannot be treated with medicines. The existing decay needs to be removed and the tooth should be filled with an inert material to prevent the further progression of the decay.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical, gum strengthening procedures. You may consult me in person too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

I am 28 years old. I underwent Tongue tie release surgery 3 days ago. It has not recovered yet. I still have pain when I move my tongue. Pain is at the place where the surgery was performed (lower art of tongue). How long does it take to recover fully? I am also getting mild fever because of pain I guess. Please suggest.

Not to worry it takes about five to seven days to fully recover you may rinse with warm salt water n use a mouth wash after every intake.

Imol 1-1-1, thrice daily (contraindicated in conditions with gastric ulcer, asthma, wheezing, allergy), c. Becosules 1-0-0 once daily all for 3 days only. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Eating a piece of cheese after a meal helps in pulling away some of the plaque and leftover tiny food particles from meals. And since it contains calcium, it adds to the health of teeth and bones as well.

Hi, There are so many causes for Ulçers. Try to identify the root cause, like any sharp tooth edges, Old fillings, Vitamin deficiency etc. Tongue ulcers should not be there in the same place for more than 6 months. Apply Mucopain gel to the area, continue tablets. Take care.

Hi my age is 36 near wisdom tooth I am getting pain not in the tooth last year same problem so this year I am getting...
Hello lybrate-user, repeated swelling in wisdom tooth region can signify pus collection or simply indicate gum swelling. Pain is not a reliable symptom to decide the absence of infection. My advice is to get a radiograph done to check the bone around the tooth. If the bone appears normal, we have look for any sharp points in the opposing tooth. Otherwise the tooth needs to be extracted even if there is no pain.

If you wear dentures, general rule is to: brush, soak, brush. Always clean your dentures over a bowl of water or a folded towel in case you drop them. Brush your dentures before soaking, to help remove any food debris. Using an effervescent denture cleaner will help remove stubborn stains and leave your denture feeling fresher.

I feel once you will be determinant that you have to wake up in early morning nthing stops you to change your habit. All you need to do is put an alarm of time you need to be waked with louder sound and place an alarm clock quite a distance away from yourself so dat you have to come out of bed to switch it off. Initially it may be painful but slowly you will be used to it. You can do this.

I am suffering teeth problem from long time. Some doctors advice me root canal treatment and some advice for feeling....
If you are having pain in the tooth then kindly get an x-ray done of the tooth having pain. May be you will have to get root canal treatment done followed by a crown or cap. But if you are not having pain and the tooth is having mild caries then you can get filling done. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique to maintain your oral hygiene.
