MOBILIZATION AND STRETCHING

During flaccid stage mobilization in the form of gentle passive exercises and stretching of various biarticular muscles should be given as they are very prone to develop tightness. Thus muscles like tendon Achilles, hamstring,quadriceps, adductors, tensor fascia latae, biceps, wrist flexors, etc. should be stretched.Passive exercises should be given of all the movements at all the joints for at least 10 repetitions three to four times in a day.  

Some forms of splints may be given to maintain the body parts in the desired position.Commonly dorsiflexion splint or L splint may be given to prevent the foot from going into plantar flexion attitude. Similarly wrist extension splint is given to maintain the wrist and the fingers in extension position. Care should be taken to maintain the first web space.  

WEIGHT BEARING ACTIVITIES

Weight bearing exercises are necessary to promote development of tone in muscles and also to maintain the absorption of calcium into the bones. Thus the patient should be given activities like bridging ,supine on elbows ,sitting with weight bearing on the affected arm, and standing should be given as soon as possible within the limitation of the patient’s general medical status.

SUBLUXATION of the glenohumeral joint is very common complication in stroke patient, which can be prevented by proper positioning and handling. Some form of support may be given to prevent distraction of the joint when the patient assumes an erect position. Generally a shoulder sling or Bobath splint is given to prevent this complication. Skillful 

TAPING is also helpful in preventing the subluxation very effectively. It also gives a tactile feedback which helps in faster development of tone in the shoulder muscles. Weight bearing exercises for the involved upper limb has also been found to be beneficial in preventing this.

CHEST PHYSIOTHERAPY 

Chest physiotherapy in the form of inspiratory breathing exercises should be given to maintain the lung compliance and to prevent any chances of secretion accumulation. In cases of necessity nebulization or postural drainage can be given.

Dear lybrate-user try to avoid taking pain killers every time. Uterus contraction cause much of the pain felt during menstrual cycle because contraction inhibit blood flow to the lining of uterus. You should eat max fruits and vegetables at that time, drink more water and reduce stress. Also do these yoga for the daily routine- head yo knee forward bend. Noose pose. Camel pose. And reclining big toe pose. Also for more pain try homeopathic medicine. They will completely replenish your pain.

1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato,cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2..Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat.limit fluid intake during meal 4.Drink plenty of water(8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having, 6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days .8.Consult Gastro enterologist for further advice

Foreplay lasts long but average ejaculation time is 5-7 mins for indians. Ejaculation is considered premature if it occurs in less than 1.5 minutes after insertion.

If you have recurrent attack of headache1. It could be a tension headache due to anxiety/stress, depression inadequate sleep, low bp/high bp, migraine, prolonged use of cell phone/computer, chronic anaemia, refractive error, chronic sinusitis, organic brain lesion 2. Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, have adequate sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily in the night 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5. Check for refractive error, sinusitis hemoglobin, bp 6. Avoid prolonged use of cell phone/computer 7. Consult neurologist to rule out other causes of headache, if required take a ct scan of head to exclude any brain lesion 8. If it is migraine you have to take migraine prophylactic drug after consulting neurologist.
