Hi, thyroid disorder is not only the reason for weight gain, you need to rule out other causes of weight gain also. Secondly, its important to keep your thyroid levels under normal levels, so get your thyroid profile done.

I am 30 years old lady. Recently I m diagnosed with hypothyroid and diabetes both are borderline. Taking 25 mg pill for thyroid daily and half 750 mg pill for diabetes. I have one child and now want to plan for second child. My periods are also always irregular. Is it related to thyroid n diabetes? and what are my chances of conceiving. I am doing course to normalize my periods.

Healthy Lifestyle Habits And Personal Care For Every Woman!

Balancing the personal and professional life can be quite taxing. In the process, women often neglect their health. Work is important but not more than your health. Women of reproductive age should be extra careful. Many women particularly suffer from gynecological problems (PCOS, menstrual problems, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, to name a few). Thus, following a healthy lifestyle is the key to a healthy body (physical, mental as well as emotional). Health issues, no matter how minor, should not be left unattended.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle:
A healthy lifestyle can help ward off many unwanted health complications (especially gynecological problems).

  1. Eat a Healthy Diet. Many women live by fast foods. While burgers, pizzas, and fried foods may satisfy your taste buds, your body and overall health will have to bear the brunt. Once a while, pampering yourself with fast foods is fine, but do not make it an everyday practice. Include more of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. A healthy and balanced diet takes care of many gynecological disorders, including menstrual problems. Keep your body well hydrated.
  2. Obesity. Obesity can wreak havoc in a woman's life, irrespectively of their age. It is one the underlying factors responsible for PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and other hormonal disorders. Thus, maintaining a healthy body weight becomes very important.
  3. Do not Compromise on your Sleep. On an average, a woman needs between 6-8 hours of sleep daily. A sound and healthy body can work better. Try and follow a healthy sleeping routine. Ideally, you should retire to bed by 10 pm and wake up by 6 am. Avoid stress and anxiety as much as you can. Too much stress can cause a hormonal imbalance with serious complications.
  4. Physical Activities and Workouts: Exercise and meditation act as a tonic for the body. You may lead a hectic life but 30 minutes a day is all that you need to refresh and rejuvenate your body. You will be able to kick-start the day with a renewed vigor and zeal. Women who are on the healthier side of the scale and have been trying hard to lose weight are sure to benefit from this.
  5. Annual Health Check-ups. Healthy or not, women (of all age groups) should go for annual health check-ups. Many health problems get complicated and almost untreatable due to late diagnosis. There is no point in taking chances with your health. Nobody can understand or know your body better than you. If you notice anything unusual (especially in your breast), immediately consult your physician. Self-awareness is essential.

Here are a few important personal care and hygiene that every woman should follow diligently

  1. Practice healthy vaginal hygiene. Wash your vaginal area daily. You can use warm water to clean the area.
  2. Avoid douching, use of perfumes and scented soaps in your vagina and adjacent areas. It can affect the pH of your vagina, resulting in infections.
  3. Always go for safe and healthy sex. Unprotected sex may cause STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) and infections (bacterial, viral or yeast).
  4. Keep a record of your menstrual cycle every month. Make it a habit to change your sanitary napkins frequently during periods.

Hello, Sometimes due to worry and travelling there may be changes in the body due to which your periods may be early. There is absolutely nothing to worry. Wait for 2 more months and keep a check on your dates if the same thing continues then you can visit your doctor. Just eat healthy food and avoid too much consumption of papaya, mango, chocolates and junk food. Thanks

Green papaya eating unripe and green papaya can help you normalize irregular periods because it works as a good and strong emmenagogue and helps in proper contraction of muscles fibbers of your uterus. It is specifically beneficial for delayed periods associated with menopause. Eat unripe papaya for a couple of months and see the difference. Avoid consuming the same when having your periods. Banyan tree roots take the roots of a banyan tree. Make sure they are fresh. Boil it in a cup of water for about 10 minutes. Add 2-3 tbsp of cows milk to this decoction and have it at bedtime daily. This potion can also help you regularize your menstrual cycle to a great extent. How to delay your period fennel seeds fennel seeds or saunf can also help you regulate your monthly periods. In order to have them, you need to mix 2 tbsp of fennel seeds in 1 glass water and let it stay overnight. Strain the water using a muslin cloth or strainer and drink it. Make sure to have this potion daily for positive results. Grapes grapes are also considered useful for regularising irregular periods. Drinking grape-juice on daily basis can help you a great deal. Apart from that, you can also eat raw grapes and make it a part of your diet. This will help you in the long run. However, excessive consumption of grapes is not good. It can cause loose motions. Bitter gourd juice you can also have bitter gourd juice. Although bitter in taste, it is supposed to be one of the effective treatments for irregular periods. You can have in in either forms juice or decoction. When taking the former type, have it twice daily and if your prefer the latter form, you can have it once or twice daily, as per your wish or requirements. How to get periods to avoid pregnancy parsley parsley is yet another useful herb when it comes to treating menstruation related issues. It is considered to be the most effective homemade cures for the same. Parsley juice should be consumed every day, as a medicine, for getting back regular intervals. Radishes take 2-3 radishes and blend them into a fine paste using water. Add a cup of buttermilk to this paste. Keep sipping this juice throughout the day. Have it on a daily basis to get positive results. Coriander a decoction made of coriander (cilantro) leaves or seeds can also be very useful in getting your regular periods. This remedy should be taken at least 3 times a day for better results. Diet during menstruation anjeer take 4-5 figs (anjeer) and boil them in a cup of water. Now filter this decoction and have it on a daily basis. This remedy if followed regularly will normalize your menstrual cycle quite effectively. Papaya the most common and effective tip to regularize your irregular menstruation cycle is to have a bowl of papaya or a glass of papaya juice everyday. If you make it a habit, you will sure see positive results. Carrot having raw carrot or carrot juice can also be a good help for fighting irregular periods. One of the easiest ways to have them is to include them in your regular diet. Aloe vera aloe vera pulp or juice may also help getting frequent menstrual cycles. Following this tip on regular basis can help you get you positive results for sure. Aloe vera regulates the hormones responsible for menstruation and helps in getting regular menstrual flow. Just pluck some aloe vera leaves from your garden and extract the gel from it. Mix the gel with 1 tbsp of honey. Consume this daily before having a breakfast. Continue this for at least three months for best results. Avoid this home remedy during your periods. How to get periods with exercise sugarcane juice drinking sugarcane juice before a week or two of your current menstruation cycle will also assist you in getting your periods regularly. This is a very simple and most commonly used remedy for irregular periods. Ginger ginger is considered to be highly beneficial for regulating menstrual cycles. Moreover, it also helps in dealing with menstrual pain. How to use ginger for irregular periods? boil 1 tbsp of fresh ground ginger in a cup of water for 5 minutes. Add little sugar and drink the mixture three times a day after your meals. Continuing this for around one month (or more) can help you immensely. Turmeric with jaggery till now you might have only heard about the antibacterial properties of turmeric. However, this rhizome is also loaded with emmenagogue properties. So, you can have it for stimulating the menstrual flow. Also, its anti inflammatory properties also help you in relieving menstrual pain. Take one to quarter tbsp of turmeric with jaggery, honey or milk every morning for a couple of weeks and see the results. Reasons for missed periods cinnamon you might not know but it is is really important and interesting to note that cinnamon is one of such spices that is really useful for making your menstrual cycle in order. Since it provides a warming effect within your body, it can be very effective in eradicating menstrual cramps and initiate regulation of proper menstrual blood flow. It also contains hydroxychalcone which is really effective in regulating the level of insulin within the body. You can take a glass full of warm milk and add a teaspoon of powdered cinnamon and drink it to get the remedy. Aloe vera along with many benefits aloe vera has also proved worth in regulating the hormones inside your body. Just the gel like substance within the aloe vera leaf must be extracted and the same must be mixed up with a teaspoon of honey. You can consume it just before the breakfast to get proper remedy from menstrual irregularities in three months. It will be better if you can get some turmeric root that is available under your plot. You need to grind it and get some juices out of it. Even to regulate menstrual cycle, consumption of ginger either in raw form or in the form of juice will be really effective. You can boil ginger root and get a glass of the juice to get menstrual benefit. Skin is the most sensitive as well as the largest body organ. Skin problems are very common and can happen to almost everyone, be it a woman or man, and dealing with these problems could be as tough as understanding them. Here are a few very common skin problems that one should know about and can deal with them easily.

  1. Acne or a pimple is the very common skin disorder that occurs to almost everybody every now and then. It basically happens due to the blocking or clogging of the passageway that connects your skin pores to the oil glands. Face, neck, shoulder, back and chest are some common areas where acne appear. The best way to deal with them is to stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet.
  2. Eczema is another skin disease that may occur in children, teenagers as well as adults and is of three types. Atopic dermatitis is the first type and this type is mainly seen in children in the form of itchy rashes behind the knees and in the elbow part. Allergic contact dermatitis is the second type and is seen in early adulthood. Metallic jewellery, cosmetics and fragrances can be the major causes of this type.   4. Dark under eye circles is another common skin problem which can be easily cured. You can get rid of these dark circles by eating healthy food, keeping a balanced diet, drinking a lot of water, perform exercises, sleeping early and many others. Intake of cucumber, green tea, etc. can also help you get back your flawless skin.
  5. The other skin problems that are very common and can occur to anybody include athlete foot, wrinkles, sunburns, groin rashes, skin swelling, staph infections and much more.

Actually if she is getting enough vaginal lubrication during foreplay then intercourse should not cause any problems but still if you feel that pain is because of dryness then you can use some lubricant like ky jelly to make it more comfortable and less painless
