I got my TSH value 10 times high and cholesterol increased too and less vitamin D. Cold senstivity, weakness feeling, fat/weight increasing are effects I see in my body. I do not have much junk food usually, do exercise (40-45 mins dance) approx 3 times a week. But no improvement on fat though it always helped me previously. Kindly help out what should my intake to balance my body nutrients.

Your problem could be PSVT or simply anxiety. PSVT can be detected only if the ECG is done during the fast heartbeat.

get checked for heart at Birla Hospital in your town. If reports are normal , do not take stress of a heart disease.

U need calcium suppliments. And vit d supplimentation too. Take vitamin d rich food eg fish, codliver oil, meat liver, egg yolk. Vitamin d is also naturally made by your body when you expose your skin to the sunlight for 30 min everyday. Hope this helps u. If required, consult.

Hello yes now a days valvular disorder or any defect can be repaired by cath procedure in which there is no need to open the heart. It depends on the lesion whether it is amenable to cath procedure or not. I would request you to specify the condition.

Both bp and sugar should be with in normal range with or without medicine sugar f < 100/110, pp < 140, bp < 120-130/ 80-90. Rt. Good luck.

My boy have got BP its about 155/100. Doc told to check ECG, blood sugar, cholesterol etc. Every thing is normal except cholesterol . Its 250mg. His age is 28. Because of cholesterol did he got BP? And tell me how to control cholesterol and BP. Thank you.

For controlling bp and cholesterol. Avoid sour food, sweets, fast food, junk food, ghee, oil, heavy food, etc. Take more green leafy vegetables. Take easily digestible food. Drink 3 litre of water per day. Regular 1 hour walking 5 days in a week. Regular exercise / yoga / pranayam. Maintain normal weight (if obese loss weight) manage the stress and anger. To control or maintan BP normal there are some instructions are given below: •Do not take salt in high amount or try to avoid it because high sodium level increase BP. • Eat less amount of pickle and fast food, fast food contain high sodium. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of coffee and tea both increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Do exercise daily, running and long walk. • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Avoid taking too much fat foods such as butter, cheese, ghee. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. Eat an apple daily.

Hello, I am having pin pointing pain over my left chest. I have consulted with cardiologist and get TMT and echo test and everything is fine. I am having this pain from almost an year now. Recently a month ago I noticed than my left ribcage has come little outwards from the center and also one of the bone of my left ribcage has come out a little (below left underarm). I think pain is starting between these points where rib bones are disordered. I do workout daily but due to this pain I have stopped lifting heavy weights from last 2 months. Is there anything to worry about rib bones disorder, please share your view it would be really helpful for me. Thanks Sincere regards, Harshit.

Dear lybrateuser, - Since you have pain when doing workout & you are able to pinpoint the location it is due to bone problem & the surrounding tissues - take rest do not aggravate it by exercising & lifting weight - apply pain killer gel three times a day on the affected area, apply lightly do not rub - take a nsaid tablet like brufen if pain is more - get x- chest done to find out exact cause & consult a doctor.

Good to know that reports of years old boy are normal but there is pain on running. Improve your hemoglobin, ignore the pain. Make sure that you eat right before running and drink lots of water after exercise.

It is unlikely to be cardiac as you fear and you may have a check up and tad take PPI class drugs to fight acidity

Stress is a part and parcel of life now a days. Some amount of stress is actually beneficial as it improves efficiency. However one should not get too stressed out, which results in decreased efficiency in work and also leads to deterioration of personal relations. Taking regular breaks, sharing problems with friends and relatives and a rule of" never bringing work tensions at home" are some easy ways of dealing with stress. Exercising regularly, eating healthy and losing weight are few other ways which can help keep blood pressure in check as well as keeping stress levels down.
