There is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

My son (2.4 Y+) had received his typhoid vaccine around a year back. The doctor had mentioned he needs to take this once more this month & that's all. He does not need any further typhoid vaccine. Is this right approach (as I had read there would be 2 dosages in 3-year gap)?

typhoid vaccine is generally given at 2 years or after.you can safely give two doses of typhoid vaccine.their are two types of typhoid vaccine available in market and clinics.

There is o medicine to cure to chicken pox easily as you want and it will subside in a week . It may help to take antiviral tablet like acyclovir under a medical guidance

It appears to be due to stress / anxiety, so do relaxation exercise. You can learn to control pe by doing this exercise- pull your muscles that you pull at the end of urination for few seconds then release repeat this several times daily. Another is stop-start technique: when you feel that you are going to ejaculate stop the sexual stimulation and divert your mind, the penis will relax, after sometime start the stimulation again and repeat the procedure. Over few months you will gradually increase your ejaculation time. Most often it is a chronic problem, you have to take medicines in between and period off medicine. You can apply lignocaine gel to head of penis 10 mins before sex and wipe it off before starting sex.

Penis-enlarging exercises like jelqing and kegel exercises can be really helpful for strengthening erections. If done properly, they can strengthen the entire pelvic floor and groin region. They can improve blood flow to the groin region and strengthen it.

My legs are swelling in day time and normal in while sleeping at night this is happening only in summer seasons please advise me in this regard.

Rule out High Blood Pressure or any other Kidney Problem Do hot fomentation Keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take IBUPROFEN 200mg OD & SOS x 5days CALDIKIND PLUS (mankind) 1 tab ODx10days Do knee exercises It may have to be further investigated Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. You will need other supportive medicines also. Do ask for detailed treatment plan.. Don’t ignore..It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Whenever I have unprotected sex with my wife she get lot of pain in lower stomach and had bleed too. Why she get infection whenever we had unprotected sex?

As after sex she is having bleeding, she should be immediately examined by a gynecologist who will do pap test with hpv test to find out the exact cause. As she has pain at the time of sex, ultrasound should also be done, she may be suffering from endometriosis.

In view of pregnancy you should take complete bed rest, plenty of oral liquid intake and Paracetamol 500 mg tablets for 2-3 times for 2-3 days. If fever and other symptoms persists then you should see a physician because certain medications given normally are to be avoided in Pregnancy. Proper clinical examination, related investigations, diagnosis is necessary for safe medical care.

Little and often

Keep your meals small and regular. A big meal sitting in the stomach will produce a pot-bellied look even in the slimmest person, whereas eating little and often won’t overtax your digestive system, and is less likely to spoil your silhouette in that little black dress. But good news for baked bean-lovers – plant-breeding programmes have made these beans lower in raffinose, the sugar that causes wind.

Get in balance

An imbalance of good and bad bacteria in the gut can also cause bloating, so top up with a healthy probiotic yoghurt or drink. Take a little care at first, though, as sometimes probiotics can unsettle things digestion-wise, at least temporarily. If you’ve been overdoing refined carbs, swap to smaller portions of slower-releasing, low-GI types, such as porridge, grainy breads and wholewheat pasta. Swapping some of your carbs for monounsaturated fats (MUFAs) will also help (think nuts rather than pretzels, tahini instead of jam).

Flat tum foods

Great flat-tum-friendly foods are potassium-rich fruit and veg, in particular bananas, beetroot and a daily glass of orange juice. Potassium works its magic by counteracting the water-retaining effects of excess sodium in the body. But you’ll also need to cut down on salty foods to maximise the stomach-flattening impact.

Drink less
Never drink on an empty stomach and go for spritzers or other lower-alcohol drinks to help keep your stomach trim. Instead drink plenty of water to aid digestion and flush out waste matter more efficiently.

Put down the chewing gum

When we chew gum, we often swallow excess air which leads to bloating. Avoid it altogether where possible!

Avoid stress
There's a clear link between stress and digestive health. Why not go for a run to de-stress, or book in to that much-needed yoga class?
