Sir, My father is a heart patient CAG was done on 28/01/16 which showed TVD (Mid LAD 95%, LCX - Major OM - 90%, RCA (Distal) - Ostiproximal PDA - 70-80%. Is surgery is highly necessary or it would be cured by ayurvedic medicine. Now he is taking a juice of ingredients of Lemon juice, Garlic juice, Jinger juice, Honey & Apple cardiac vinegar. Successful surgery has been done and he needs aftercare ,so that another blockage does not happen.He can continue with ginger,vinegar,garlic,lemon juice but make sure about blood thinners as most of these also make the blood clear and thin.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

If you are noticing a general lack of interest in things, people, and work around you then you are likely to be going through some sort of psychological stress or a difficult situation which you may not be conscious about. Reflect upon how the environment around you is like, how you are feeling about it, is your body also showing signs of lethargy, what has changed in these 6 months, how was it like 6 months before. Etc. If you can see what's bothering you then you can also work on helping yourself. If the issue persists then consult a counsellor for one to one counselling. Take care.

Mr. Lybrate-user, if diabetes is present then glucose is prohibited, the reason is it will increase blood glucose level almost immediately. She can other complex carbs which do give energy. However, most important is her blood glucose has to be well controlled, then only she will feel energetic and healthy. That means her fasting glucose has to be closer to 100 mg, pp should be 150 to 160 mg/100 ml and hba1c%<7. Once this is achieved, patients overall health improves dramatically. Glucose is not to be taken for energy at all. Thanks.

Dear lybrate use take homoeopathic medicines as under 1- jaborandi q take 10 drops mix in some water snd massage in hair roots on alternate day 2- ruta 200, + 3- arnica 200 5 drops each to be mixed with some water twice daily and sipped twice daily report after 15 days.

I don't feel hungry at all and even feel lazy to eat anything. I skip meals on regular basis. I even tried eating tonics to increase my hunger but it only effect me for 1 or 2 days and than it also stop working. Honestly, I'm not so regular in eating medicines or tonics. Now I'm 19 and slowly all my body parts are getting weaken. Like my eyes they recently got specs of about -0.5 and my teeth started aching due to lack of calcium. In short, all the energy which my body has saved is now vanished resulting me in a poor health condition. N even though I know the reason, I can't tackle it. For me eating food is like the biggest responsibility. Need help please and I look very thin.Please tell.

There are 4 pillar for good health. First is healthy nutritious diet- include all colors in your diet. Second is exercise. Do some sort of physical exercise at least 20-30 min daily. It could be walking, cycling, jogging, swimming, skipping, yoga etc. Third is adequate rest. Sleeping as per urr individual requirement which may be 6-10 hours a day. Meditation provide excellent relaxation and many other benefits. Fourth is a positive mental attitude. A positive expectancy and outlook towards life. All the best. Work on all four and I am sure you will regain your appetite.

Blackheads are typically caused by the overproduction of oil, which tends to occur when a person reaches puberty. Clean your face with a good cleanser, ideally, one for oily skin, such as a salicylic acid cleanser. Do not wash the affected area more than twice a day, otherwise you might irritate the skin and make symptoms worse.

To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

You have not mentioned the age and weight of your mom which is very important for knee pain. I think she must have arthritis along with osteoporosis. You need to chek her bone density and consult a good orthopaedician in your town.

Most common cause of low back pain in younger generation is mechanical backache. Which arises due to ill posture, improper lifestyle combined with no workout or exercises. Few patients suffer from pathological backache. Which has causes other than mechanical. First step is to rule out any pathology and then move to improve lifestyle follow ergonomic lifestyle in office and home. Can be easily searched on internet. The cause of the rash is often not clear. Some people also develop swelling of the lips, tongue or other areas of the body from time to time. Your hair needs a high protein well-rounded diet. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hair and nails are both protein fibers. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and spicy food. And constipation.

It is not a good idea of Increasing intake of junk foods and fatty foods to gain weight. You should be eating calorie dense yet nutritious food. Your calorie intake should come from foods that are healthy for you. The weight gaining diet should include high protein foods, high carbohydrate foods and healthy fats. Include these in your diet. Breakfast: Banana and milk or banana shake or smoothie, whole-grain toast, fruits, nuts. Eat more fruit and drink less juice. Do not take milk mixed with ghee . It is not healthy. Lunch: Roti or chapatti or wholegrain bread, rice, green vegetables, paneer, dal, chole recipe, black-eyed beans (lobia), rajma, whole wheat pudding (dalia), etc Dinner: Similar to lunch In-between meals:: fruit, sandwich, yogurt (curd), milk, cheese, salad Avoid deep fried snacks like samosa (samosa recipe), pakodas, bhujia etc. Avoid fast foods including donut.

I am in depression from a long time nearly from 5 years. Day by day I am problem is getting worsened. I am full of negativeness .i just like to be alone. L lack words while speaking. I have habit of pre thinking about everything that I am going to do. It has effected my life so much that I always want to be alone.
