My legs pain a lot and I am very thin what is the solution to this and improve my health?
Hello,Homeopathic medicines are less invasive and have more herbal approach towards gaining the weight. There are a number of homoeopathic medicines, which treat the root cause behind the body’s inability to gain weight or bulk up. 1. Take alfalfa tonic(wsi), 2 – 2 tsp. Thrice a day, half an hour before meals. 2. Calcarea phos 200, 5 drops , once in aweek , morning empty stomach for 2 weeks. 3. Take eggs, milk, butter, bananas, potatoes, mangoes, figs, oats, soyabean and dry fruits. 4. do light exercises regularly to keep your body active. These homoeopathic medicines and dietary addition will increase your appetite and give your metabolism a healthy boost. ***If you do not get results with this treatment then please revert me i will suggest you to go through some tests.*** Thanks.

You know the cause of your backpain- studying on bed so Correct it. 1. Use table chair for studies. Chair with back rest and feet should rest on floor. 2. Take analgesics like paracetamol for relief and start back stretcheingle and strengthening exercises once pain is relieved. 3. Apply warm water bag on back for 10 mins 4 times a day. 4. Take breaks in between study and take a walk. 5. Do not bend and lift weights. 6. Go for activities like swimming. If your problem is persistent consult again.

How to Stand Correctly? (Back Pain While Standing)

How to Stand Correctly? (Back Pain While Standing)

Some people always get low back pain when standing in one place for a long time. Just as occurs when we are sitting for long periods, when we stand for long periods, the muscles that support us tire and relax, allowing us to slouch. When we stand relaxed, however, the lordosis becomes excessive and the low back hangs in an extreme position.

This is exactly the opposite position to that adopted by the spine when we sit slouched. It is not possible to stand in this way for long periods as the excessive lordosis is a position of strain. If your low back pain is produced during prolonged standing, you will find relief by correcting your standing posture.

Correction of the Standing Posture

To stand correctly, you must hold your low back in a position of reduced lordosis. To find this position, you must first stand relaxed. Allow the chest to sag and the abdomen to protrude slightly; this will place the lower lumbar joints in an extreme lordosis. Now reduce the lordosis by standing as tall as you can. Lift the chest up, pull in your stomach muscles and tighten your buttocks.

You have now reached the correct standing posture. When standing like this, you reduce the lordosis with your own muscular effort. To begin with you will find it difficult to effectively hold this position, but with practice you can learn to stand in this new position for long periods without discomfort.

I am suffering from osteo-arthritis problems from the past many days. I went to an orthopaedic. Please suggest what should i do?

In this case you need ganeral streatching exercises of all joints light strengthning, isometric exercises to keep all the joints active and reduce undue pressure by avoiding stairs Indian toilets repeated sit to stand and vice versa.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user Knee pain in age 85 years is usually due to osteoarthritis knee. This leads to inflammation in knee and resulting stiffness in knee. Get a x-ray knee-AP/Lateral in standing position. We need to see your investigations and discuss your problem in detail. I can't write medicines here without proper diagnosis. Kindly consult me in private for complete treatment. Thank u.

Hello- neck pain and disturbed sleep may be due to cervical spondylitis. Try this tips- a) sit in a straight position so that the vertebral stress of your cervical must be minimised. B) practice bhujangasana daily. C) take break from evry half n hour sitting workout to relax your body. D) use bala tail nasal drops 2 twice daily.

My relative has knee surgery before 8 months due to fracture in knee. Now bone is not joint. Due to screw he can walk easily. He can't bend more than 90 degree. Could you suggest some solution or above medicine will work for him also.

If the bone has not united then the screw might fail soon. Any joint injury usually results in some stiffness in that joint. The primary aim should be to get the bone heal first and then concentrate on movements. If you force the knee the move before the bone unites then the metal work will fail.
