Dear, These are some instructions & methods for good sleep: • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep. You can also do foot massage daily it destress you. * Eat food with a bowl of curd and after that off the light and go to sleep because after eating meal our brain become relax and sleep comes. • Drink a glass of milk at night daily. * Avoid the excess use of laptop and phone during night. Placenta is like an umbrella on top of the fetus, it is full of blood and nutrients taken from mother to be sent to growing baby through unblical cord. Normal position is posterior, means behind the baby so as not to obstruct growth of the baby or its delivery through the passage for normal delivery of baby. In your case, it was detected lying low & may be baby was not developed to deliver it through operation. There is no rule that you will suffer again from same condition. No body knows about why it happens, so no prevention can be suggested to you. Feel normal & pray for a normal pregnancy, keep getting ultrasounds. A word of caution - placenta does appear low lying at 5 months but miraculously it moves upwards. Total bed rest during next pregnancy till 7 months when reports show normal placenta position.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

There are muscle relaxant oils in Ayurveda like Mahavishgarbh oil, which should be massaged by warming it and doing hot fomentation at pain site thereafter. However I would advise you to take oral vatnashak medicines for some time such as 'Ten roots and guggul based medicines. This is not pain killers but will address the problem in few weeks time generally. Pl also inform if there's any burning micturition or shooting pain on left side of back. Pl drink max warm water. If you agree to take further advise, pl furnish the info and consult.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems including irregular menses are directly related to overweight! Read the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

I am 38 yrs, two times met with an accident four years ago due to which there were two fractures one in arm and other in foot, my knees got deeply hurt. Dear lybrate-user, first we need to identify what is the cause of your knee pain. The knee pain can be due to ligament injuries or due to damage to the cartilage (smooth surface of the joint). A good clinical examination will reveal the cause of the pain in the knee. It is preferable that you consult a good sports specialist or a joint specialist for your condition. After clinical assessment if the doctor feels, mri may be needed to identify the problem with accuracy. The problem can range from'insignificant' to'significant ligament tears' the treatment can vary depending on the injury. While most injuries can be treated with physical therapy the severe ones may need arthroscopy or key-hole surgery. Hope that helps.

Dark color in underarms most of the time signifies that you are not taking proper care of your skin especially the folded area of your skin which leads to darkness around that area. Before starting any nourishment treatment, there is a need of removing the dead cells those have formed already due to improper maintenance. If you wouldn?t have taken care of your underarma that much, it would have filled with more and more of waste accumulated dead cells by now. Let us scrub away them with a magical kitchen ingredient called ?oats?. You have to simply grind oats coarsely and add a dash of tomato puree to it. Make sure not to grind oats as powder fine powder as it might loose the exfoliating properties. Apply this mixture evenly on to your u skin and leave inderarmst for about 20 minutes. After that, wet your finger tips and start scrubbing your underarms gently; wash away with cold water and moisturizer. it is due to dependent oedema because of veinous insufficiency causing blood to accumulate in the leg resulting in swelling when somebody sits for a long time. It could also be due to diseases of heart, liver, kidney precaution a) don't sit for a prolonged period at one place, stand up and walk around in between b)wear compressed stockings c) .Keep the foot end elevated while sleeping d) Restrict salt intake e)Investigate to rule out diseases affecting Kidney/ hear/ Liver after consulting doctor

General Diet Tips for Healthy Hair

Web MD recommends eating six to 10 servings of vegetables daily.
Eat two to four servings of fruit daily.
Get enough protein?either two to three servings of meat a day or four to five servings of dairy and beans (keep in mind that a serving meat is three ounces, no larger than the size of your cell phone).
Eat foods rich in omega-3, such as eggs, nuts, seeds, and fish.
Mix it up! Don't eat the same foods every day. A variety will ensure that you get all of the vitamins and minerals that you need.
Add a multivitamin to your daily routine. Eat it with food to increase absorption.
Foods for Healthy Hair

Need ideas for specific foods? All of the foods below have been recommended for hair. If you eat these regularly, you will natural treat any deficiencies that may be causing your hair loss.

Salmon, sardines, trout, and mackerel: All of these fish will provide protein, vitamin D, and omega-3. Eggs: Eggs have protein, zinc, selenium, sulfur, and iron. Since iron is one of the most common deficiencies that lead to hair loss in premenopausal women (who lose some every month with their menstrual cycle), the importance of these minerals cannot be overstated.
Spinach and other leafy greens: In addition to other minerals, these vegetables are important for theiruh iron. They are an excellent source of iron for vegans, and have less cholesterol than animal-based sources.
Effect of Smoking and Drug Use on Hair Loss

Smoking is related to hair loss and baldness, according to research by the US National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health. Other drugs have a similar correlation. If you are taking prescription medicine, consult your doctor or check the side effects to see if that could be a cause of your hair loss.

Medical Treatments for Hair Loss

If the natural treatments above do not work, it is time to consult a doctor. Hair loss can be a side effect of a serious medical condition such as thyroid problems or diabetes. Doctors will also run a blood test to definitively rule out any deficiencies.

If your hair loss is not caused by lifestyle, diet, or disease, then it is due to changes in your hormones related to aging. There are two medicines that can help treat this type of hair loss.

Rogaine (minoxidil). Rogaine is an over-the-counter medication that is applied to the scalp. It works best on hair that has just begun to thin. According to Web MD, "[more] than 50% of users claim that it can thicken hair and slow hair loss" Once you begin using Rogaine, you must continue to use it indefinitely in order to maintain its effects. If you go this route, Costco sells minoxidil at a significantly lower price than most pharmacies.
Propecia (finasteride). Propecia is a pill that can treat more developed hair loss in men. It works by blocking the hormones that cause hair loss from reaching the skin. Consult your doctor before taking Propecia.
Homemade Natural Rogaine Hair-Loss Treatment Recipe

This recipe does not contain minoxidil, but worked for my own hair loss. You can see the story for how I discovered the recipe below.

Ingredients

Water
Licorice ( It has been proven that it kills the bacteria )
Burdock Root. (This root also has been shown to relieve eczema, as well as acne, psoriasis, and other skin conditions.)
Dandelion Root. (This root is filled with the vitamins and minerals discussed above, including vitamin A, B, C, and D, iron, potassium, and zinc.)
Directions

(1) Rub licorice in a glass and fill it halfway with water.

(2) Rub the burdock and dandelion root against a stone to make a fine paste.

(3) Mix the paste with the licorice water, and apply it to your head.

(4) Leave paste on scalp for whole day it will stick to your head like white cement. Dont wash your head until its necessary. (I used to apply it in the mornings and took it off in the evenings).

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi. Painful intercause is called vaginismus. It's due to either lack of desire, proper stimulation or vaginal muscular problems. I would advice you to spend more time in foreplay to make her more comfortable. Even after this she complains then meet a good sexologist.
