Dear doctor, I have full back pain & leg pain for past two days, and I do have the habitate of smoking, please advice me the solution.

Stop smoking. Backache is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind)1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do back(spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

My legs are very pain . I have many Dr. treatments but not best treatment. How do you should my problem.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

I am 24 years old male. I have pain in my knee and I have used pain relief cream from last few days. What I should do?

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Knee pain- reasons can be-* cold weather *sitting in inconvenient posture constantly, without changing your position or without movement, *wearing ill fitting sandals, *lack of exercise or *internal disorder like arthritis. Point to observe- * if you have difficulty in climbing stairs, take lift while going upstairs. If there is no lift, go up slowly. * if it is due to strain of games or injury, take rest. * if it is due to obesity, reduce weight. * if it is due to constant sitting at a particular posture, change posture and engage in slow walk. * walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take bryonia 200---twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days

Please don't connected your physical degradation with masturbation.. Things on perspective is your gradual loss of vitality and body weight which not necessarily is due to masturbation. Having lower back pain when I get up from bed. It is severe in the morning while I get up but disappears gradually.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. \navoid bending in front. \npostural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

My daughter is 28 years old and is married. She complains of severe headache arising from neck. On massaging an ointment on the neck, some knots are felt at the end of occipital region. What could be the reason? She had once fallen from fast running skates resulting in lower back pain. Please suggest the remedy if any.

There must be inflammation of her occipital regeon and adjoining muscle. She might need some physiotherapy session and strengthening exercises. Same as her lower back also. Must teach a proper postural training also.

Hello, I am suffering from back pain when I was driving or just after eating anything specially when I drink cold water, its been from past eight months on 20th february. I was doing back exercise in gym with empty stomach. I am fed up with this pain kindly suggest me solution.

Try the tips.:: 1.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 2.Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. 3.Increase the consumption of vitamin C in diet. 4.Take fresh Ginger into pieces, place in the cup of water and boil it for 30 minutes in low flame. Cool for 30 minutes after boiling. Consume this solution with Honey. 5.While sleeping, lie straight on your back or with bent knees supported by a pillow. 6.Taking hot and cold compresses on an alternate basis can be quite helpful in relieving pain. 7. Get an X ray spine done and revert back with reports.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.
