I am so fat how do I loose my weight and having respiratory problem and skin. Got dark  legs.what should I do?
You can definitely reduce Fat ,Follow this Low calorie, normal protein, vitamins and minerals, low carbohydrate, low fat and liberal fluid, high fibre diet is recommended. 1) There is no other way of reducing weight except by consuming less calories. 2) Deep fried, processed foods, pickles, papads, pastries, biscuits, nuts, chocolates, ice creams, deserts should be completely avoided. 3) During business meetings go for plain rice with thin dals and lots of salads. 4) Dinner should be taken as early as possible 5) Simple sugars, nuts, dry fruits ( except almonds and walnuts) should be restricted. 6) Small frequent meals ( containing high fibre, low fat ,moderate to low carbohydrates , moderate proteins, normal vitamins and minerals)with regular exercise is beneficial. 7) Begin your meal with a big bowl of salad or soups. 8) Drink plenty of water. 9) Do not skip meals 10) Prefer roasted /grilled /steamed/boiled food items. 11) Tea consumption should be reduced . Replace tea with organic green tea. Do not have tea along with any meal. 12) Consumption of full cream milk will increase fat percentage so skimmed milk is a good option. Avoid -Rice, Sugar ,Potato ,Sweets,Beet , Ghee, fried foods,j unkfood ,vada, samosa, bhajji, Banana ,Grapes ,Chickoo,Seetaphal ,Mango Avoid Mutton ,organ meats, egg yolk, buffaloes milk, cheese, paneer ,pizza ,burger,Choclates etc. Have 2-3 Cups of ecovalley green Tea ,it will help reducing Weight & Fat.

Hi doc. Since 5 years (from 2011) I am diagnosed with fibroadenoma. I was OK as d size was just 1.8 mm but now it has started pain and d size has also increased to2. 7 mm I am really v much worried abt it, as I am gonna get married in may 17. Did many medication like Ayurveda homeo allopathy. But no result. I want to ask you that can I get married? Will it effect my conceiving rate. Will I have any problem in feeding. And suggest me some gud Dr. who can cure did. If I don't get it operated will it turn into malignant after marriage. Or is it gud to operate it bfre marriage. Pls pls help me out. God bless you.

Hi, Lybrate,I differ as the Fibroadenoma is not a normal condition as opined by My professional colleague. Its a disease condition and its abnormal state. But by its size and progress over last 5 yrs. Its not harmful for your marriage and for you getting children after the marriage, as apprehended by you. As you are getting married in May, 2017,I would suggest you to go ahead with your marriage and plan the detailed treatment with Me thereafter. This is because no chance of malignant changes if non-operated, as more investigations would be required to rule out these complications, but this is not required in your case. If there is infection you need antibiotic and in allergic cough you need allergy medicine like lrta group.

Panic Disorder- How To Control It

A panic attack is an intense and sudden feeling of fear that may lead the person to lose control and fear that he is dying. The intensity of the attack normally hits for around ten minutes though the symptoms may linger on after that. It normally occurs without prior signals and is typically unrelated to any of the underlying health troubles.

Ways to Control Panic Attack Symptoms-

If you are experiencing signs of panic attacks, then it is imperative to undergo proper medical treatment to find out any deeper medical problem related to these symptoms. If there is no definite cause, which is required to be treated, then there are various ways of controlling the panic attacks.

  1. Proper education: If panic attacks are left untreated for a long time, then it may lead to panic disorder, which includes frequent and recurrent panic attacks within a short span. So, it is important to have proper knowledge for combating panic disorders. You will have to understand how the fear centre of the brain works in order to recognise what panic disorder is. It is imperative to understand that the signs of panic disorder have no connection with any severe illness.

  2. Calm breathing: When a person is hit with a panic disorder, it is natural to take short, shallow breaths. You will have to take control of your breath and try to create a slow stream of air within and breathe it out, which will prevent hyperventilation and an accumulation of carbon-dioxide in the blood. It is recommended to practice slow breathing in a normal state of mind, so that you have a good hold over the technique which would come in handy when a panic attack occurs. You will have to breathe in for five seconds and hold the breath for one second before you exhale it out, spanning through four seconds. Repeat the process several times until you start experiencing a soothing feel.

  3. Muscle relaxation: Then you must try to learn how to relax the body by tensing and then relaxing different muscles, which will reduce the overall anxiety and stress levels causing panic attacks. You can start working on the muscles of your feet and then slowly move on to the forehead. You will have to tighten each muscle group while taking a deep breath, hold it for a few moments and release it while breathing out.

In case you think you are suffering from a panic disorder, it is imperative to waste no time and talk to a psychologist without further delay.

Hair is the part of the body. It gets nutrition through blood. External applications like oil and shampoo helps to condition the scalp. They will not control the hair fall. They will help to reduce breakages. Hair is made up of minerals, protein and iron. So eat food which is rich in all theses. Drink 3 lit of water/day. Consult trichologist to treat the hair fall.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism. It's possible you are not eating the right foods at the right time. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. Eat meals at frequent intervals. 6 meals a day is important. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, rice ,bread, smoothies, dryfruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

Follow these best tips to lightens and remove the black spots- 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the spots. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will remove the spots definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 5. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly. 6. Avoid use of any cosmetic products. 7. Avoid continous long hours exposure of sunlight.

If you are suffering from Dengue, Take Paracetamol 500mg 2-3 times daily after food, drink plenty of water and take rest. Take moderate carbohydrate, moderate protein, low fat diet. Take a cup of green tea in the morning and evening. Avoid eating fried foods, junk foods, milk products like cheese, khoa, etc. Also do not take creamed milk rather take skimmed milk. Eat less chapatis, less rice, more pulses and pulses products, fresh fruits and vegetables. Must take exercises daily.

Bubbles or foam in urine means that there is problem in kidney as kidney is not able to filter protein. Stop taking too much of protein and if you don't have diabetes, high b.p then it can get back to normal in few days..

Dear Lybrateuser, -Your problem may be due to anxiety & stress -do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, cycling for 30 min daily, also do yoga, meditation & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily in the morning -also sleep well for 7-8 hrs in the night, keep your sleep & wake up time fixed, do not spend too much time watching tv & other gadgets before sleep as they may disturb your sleep -consult a doctor you may require to do investigations & also medication.
