I was suffering from hair fall since from last 4 years. Please suggest me to have some precautions.
Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

My hair is too frizzy and I have split ends also how to make my hair smooth and split end free.
Precautions for care of your hair *take nutritious healthy food *have regular vigorous physical exercise so that blood circulation reaches hair follicles and nourishes the hair. *avoid mental stress and smoking and such unhealthy habits. *use warm or cold water for bath and not very hot water. * hard water is harmful. Boiling will reduce hardness. * when the hair is wet, it is weaker and don't rub too much with towel. * use wide toothed comb so that there is no pulling pressure on the hair. *your usual hair dye has large doses of ammonia, which changes hair texture, dries out the scalp and almost leads to hair fall. Natural products like shikakai and amla are better than chemical compositions of manufactured shampoos. Natural oil like coconut oil is better for your hair than maufactured hair oils. *hair fall, dandruff and tendency for gray hair are dependent on several factors. We have good treatment in homoeopathy without causing adverse effects. These medicines are given internally, promote healthy growth of hair and prevent hair fall. To start with take homoeopathic medicine acid phos 30 twice daily and give feedback after 10 days.

I'm getting Red pimples and it is paining and having some Pimples marks and small bumps on my face So please help me what should I do?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Hyderabad
I'm getting Red pimples and it is paining and having some Pimples marks and small bumps on my face So please help me ...
Pimples and oily face, The eruption of pimples, acne, black heads, black spots, scars, pores and oily face are due to excessive sebum secreted by sebaceous glands and hair follicles especially on the face. Precautions- * Don't scratch or pinch your pimples. This will cause more damage---causes scars, pores and black spots. * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *For your information, many skin creams (mostly fairness cream brands) are considered harmful and banned by Central Govt, Health ministry during March, 2016. The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) supported the ban. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy .Homoeopathy has good treatment for your problem without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root cause of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Merc sol 200—once daily in the morning. For further treatment, consult privately . Acne riddance package for one month comprehensive treatment. Harmful fairness creams Did you know that most fairness creams have active ingredients like mercurous chloride, which acts as as a bleach and causes all the harm to your skin. Moreover, the high levels of steroids in fairness creams can cause sensitivity, redness and thinning of skin. Constant use of these fairness products can harm your skin and make your skin sensitive to light that cause blisters, sun burns and itchiness whenever you go out in the sun. Caution: fairness creams can only work to a certain extent. The fact is fairness products can only reduce tan and and restore the natural skin tone. Overuse of some skin-whitening products can also lead to severe skin damage. PIMPLES-An inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands and hair follicles of the skin that is marked by the eruption of pimples or pustules, especially on the face. A comedo is a clogged hair follicle (pore) in the skin.[1] Keratin (skin debris) combines with oil to block the follicle.[2] A comedo can be open (blackhead) or closed by skin (whitehead), and occur with or without acne.[2] The word comedo comes from Latin to suggest the worm-like look of a blackhead that has been secreted.[3] The plural of comedo is comedones.[3] The chronic inflammatory condition that usually includes both comedones and inflamed papules and pustules (pimples) is called acne.[2][4] Infection causes inflammation and the development of pus.[1] Whether or not a skin condition classifies as acne depends on the amount of comedones and infection.[4] Comedones should not be confused with sebaceous filaments. When the sebaceous glands in the skin produce excessive sebum (oil), the skin becomes excessively oily and you will develop acne, pimples, pores, white heads, and black heads. Oily skin can be caused by genetics, dietary choices, too much stress or hormone changes in the body, during menstrual cycles, pregnancy, or menopause and while taking birth control pills. Those who have this condition usually have shiny skin and large pores. Homoeopathy has good treatment for your problem without adverse effects. The medicine tackles the root cause of the problem, acts internally and gradually expels the toxins from the body. It heals from inside out unlike superficial treatment of an ointment. Take homoeopathic medicine Arsenicum alb 30 daily in the morning and in the evening and give feedback after 6 days.Heat in the body- *.Don’t expose to hot direct sun. Wear cap, full sleeve shirt and shoes which will protect you from sun. Generally 10 AM to 4 PM is the hottest. Avoid exposure at that time.*.Avoid fried and oily foods, nonveg, dry fruits in this hot season. *.Drinking lots of water is good. Keep hydrated by drinking water and preferring juicy fruits. Homoeopathy has good treatment for your problem, without causing adverse effects. Take homoeopathic medicine Bryonia 200 daily in the morning and in the evening and give feedback after 6 days. Homoeopathy has good treatment for your problem without causing adverse effects. Complete details and your symptoms may be given for very accurate prescription. Reducing tan and treating dark circles around eyes Your skin will be healthy and the face will be bright once you maintain healthy life style and disciplined habits. *.Take nutritious and timely food. *.Avoid fried foods and eat fruits, nuts, pulses, greens, milk and whole grains *.Drinking lots of water is good. Keep hydrated by drinking water and preferring juicy fruits. *.Have timely and adequate sleep. Your body will be fresh after good night sleep. *.Be relaxed and avoid tension *.Daily jogging or such exercise to ensure good blood circulation which helps nutrients reaching the skin and all parts of body. Facial massage will also promote good circulation. *.Don’t expose to hot direct sun. Wear cap, full sleeve shirt and shoes which will protect you from sun. Generally 10 AM to 4 PM is the hottest. Avoid exposure at that time. *. When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. *HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy *Keep hydrated by drinking water and preferring juicy fruits. Your face will look brighter For any further help, we have good treatment in homoeopathy. Take homoeopathic medicine Berberis aquifolium mother tincture 5 to 10 drops in a glass of water once daily. Give me feedback after 20 days. Good diet plan- *Take protein rich food --- milk products, seeds, pulses, fruits, vegetables etc. *Avoid fried foods, processed food and junk food * Maintain food timings * Don’t miss breakfast. *Avoid heavy dinners and late night meals. *Avoid stimulants, aerated drinks etc. And maintain good food habits. * Drink lots of water and juices and keep hydrated. * Have adequate, timely, good night sleep *Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful. Obesity- Check whether you have thyroid and such ailments causing weight increase. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this problem. Take homoeopathic medicine Calcarea carb 200----5 drops in the morning on Wednesdays and Sundays for one month. Measures to prevent skin problems- *. Some of the skin infections are contagious and we have to ensure not to use items such as towels, soaps etc used by other persons. *. Allergy is another major reason. Beauty aids, detergents, chemicals, plastic items, eating certain foods may cause allergy. We have to identify and avoid touching and using such items. *. Sweat moisture is one of the major reasons for causing fungal infection. So, please ensure that your sweaty clothes are changed at the earliest and have bath thereafter. *. If you are exposed to direct sun or hot humid weather, it is all the more important. Avoid exposure to sun from 10 am to 4 pm as far as possible. *. Taking bath twice a day is better. We have to make it a point not to neglect cleaning any part of our body, particularly folds, narrow gaps between fingers and the like. *. If you wear synthetic T-shirts without a banyan, the T-shirt may cause you skin allergy. Please wear hosiery cotton banyan which absorbs your sweat. *.Banyan also helps in absorbing sweat which is necessary so that the sweat moisture does not cause skin problem. If you observe all measures of hygiene, treatment of skin disease will be effective. We have effective treatment in homoeopathy. You may ask private consultation This is a deep systemic / chronic problem, can be treated well by homoeopathy, but it requires close monitoring and follow up. Growth-- Take protein rich food ---eggs, milk products, dry fruits, seeds, pulses, mutter, soya bean. Cereals, potatoes, sweet potatoes, plantains etc. Can be useful for gaining weight. Also take vegetables, greens and fruits. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve digestion and absorption of food as well as blood circulation. Eat at regular intervals. Threptin biscuits will be helpful. Homoeopathic treatment will be beneficial to you. Proteins- Proteins are required- * to build and repair muscle. * to revive fat-burning metabolism and reducing the hunger * to slow the release of carbohydrates into your bloodstream, which can prevent the sudden spikes in blood sugar that are thought to encourage fat storage and sagging energy levels. *Biological value—a measure of how much protein from the food can be incorporated into proteins in the body * The biological value is largely dictated by the amount of essential amino acids a food possesses *Better to go for natural proteins than processed foods High protein foods- Eggs-Milk and cheese Soy milk—Nuts/pulses/ lentils/beans and green peas- Growth question answered--- For growth, you need proteins. Milk and cheese Soy milk—Nuts/pulses/ lentils/beans and green peas-all have proteins. As vegetarian, you can have all these items. You have tur dal, moog dal, udat dal, chana dal, mutter, rajma--and many other such proteins. In winter, you can have dry fruits which are seeds. Proteins are required- * to build and repair muscle. * to revive fat-burning metabolism and reducing the hunger * to slow the release of carbohydrates into your bloodstream, which can prevent the sudden spikes in blood sugar that are thought to encourage fat storage and sagging energy levels. Next question is---How much protein from the food can be incorporated into proteins in the body. The point is --you may eat lots of proteins. Are sure all these proteins are absorbed into your body? If you have adequate physical exercise, your digestion and capacity to absorb the proteins into the system will greatly improve. Then only, the real benefit of taking proteins will come to you. Eating proteins is as important as vigorous exercise to absorb the protein. *Better to go for natural proteins than processed foods. Processed foods have chemicals added in the process, preservatives, colouring chemicals to make them attractive. These chemicals are not friendly to your system. SKIN Treatment--The skin disease is tenacious and takes some time to start the curative process. Needs close monitoring and review of prescriptions from time to time based on the response One of the reasons is wetness due to sweat in the area. This, in turn, is due to hot humid weather and tight clothing. Frequent washing, cleaning, light clothing and ventilation to the area helps. Another major reason is allergy due to handling and exposure to many allergens. This is to be treated with proper homoeopathic medicine. Homoeopathy has good treatment for your skin problem without adverse effects. The medicine tackles the root of the problem, acts internally and gradually expels the toxins from the body. It heals from inside out unlike superficial treatment of an ointment. If you wish, please furnish detailed symptoms and following details- * Since how long you have this problem? *Is it itching and oozing? Or is it like ring worm * Any other connected problem? You may opt for private consultation. Tips for healthy skin- *Taking bath two times a day will be helpful in avoiding skin diseases..*Keep the skin folds clean, dry and ventilated. *When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. As you mentioned, ringworm recurs as the ointment acts externally. Homoeopathy has good treatment without adverse effects and it treats the root of the fungal infection. It gradually eradicates the infection and heals the disease. If you wish, please furnish detailed indications and related issues. This treatment needs follow up and you may prefer praivate question. Tips for healthy skin- *Taking bath two times a day will be helpful in avoiding skin diseases..*Keep the skin folds clean, dry and ventilated. Warts-Lipoma and such other growths Warts and similar growths may be caused due to some internal malady in the human system. This can be very well treated by homoeopathy without pain or adverse effects. If you are interested, please let me know the exact location, when it started, soft or hard, colour and such other details. You may opt for private consultation. (Rs 149/) I will prescribe which will be available in homoeopathic shops. Psoriasis Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition caused by an overactive immune system. It can be heritary. Symptoms include flaking, inflammation, and thick, white, silvery, or red patches of skin. Psoriasis treatments include steroid creams, occlusion, light therapy and oral medications, such as biologics. Damage to nails Damage to your nails could be due fungal infection or other deficiencies. Normally, feet should not be allowed to remain wet. We have good homoeopathic treatment whic will tackle the root of the problem and progressively heal withot adverse effects. You may opt for private consultation giving full details and symptoms. I will prescribe medicines which will be available at homoeopathic shops. •Dandruff (seborrhoea): This is inflamed flaky skin on the scalp and it hinders proper circulation and nutrition to the hair thereby causing increased hair loss. •Boils and abscesses A boil is a localized infection in the skin that begins as a reddened, tender area. With homoeopathic treatment, it softens and pain reduces. Then it opens up on maturity and pus comes out on its own without any incision. It will heal thereafter. You may consult privately Over time, the area becomes firm, hard, and increasingly tender. Eventually, the center of the boil softens and becomes filled with infection-fighting white blood cells from the bloodstream to eradicate the infection. This collection of white blood cells, bacteria, and proteins is known as pus. Finally, the pus "forms a head, which can be surgically opened or may spontaneously drain out through the surface of the skin. Pus enclosed within tissue is referred to as an abscess. A boil is also referred to as a skin abscess. Boils can occur anywhere on the body, including the trunk, extremities, buttocks, or other areas. We have good homoeopathic treatment without adverse effects. The medicine acts internally, tackles the root of the problem. If the boil is about to form, it will subside. If it is fully formed, by taking the medicine it gets softened, opens up on its own without any need of puncturing. Pain and swelling will recede and gradual healing takes place. Scabies Scabies is an itchy skin condition caused by the microscopic mite Sarcoptes scabei. It is common all over the world, and can affect anyone. Scabies spreads quickly in crowded conditions where there is frequent skin-to-skin contact between people. Hospitals, child-care centers, and nursing homes are examples. Scabies can easily infect sex partners and other household members. Sharing clothes, towels, and bedding can sometimes spread scabies. This can happen much more easily when the infested person has crusted scabies. You cannot get scabies from a pet. Pets get a different mite infection called mange. Symptoms are •Pimple-like irritations or a rash •Intense itching, especially at night •Sores caused by scratching

PRP For Face /Vampire Facial

Every person, especially women, want to maintain a youthful skin, sans the wrinkles, fine lines and the other signs of skin aging. As much as we want, the skin aging is an inevitable phenomenon that will hit you at some point or the other. There are many skin surgeries and therapies available that help in skin upliftment and rejuvenation. One such nonsurgical and natural therapy that many people have embraced to give their skin a much-needed boost is the Vampire Facial, also known as the Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy for the face.

The Vampire facial has garnered much attention over the past few years. There are many renowned celebrities and personalities worldwide who have opted for the Vampire Facial.
Vampire Facial derives its name from the fact that the procedure involves the use of one's blood for the overall facial rejuvenation.

The Vampire Facial is simple and involves the use of platelets rich plasma to achieve the desired result. The basic steps involved in the procedure include:

  1. The vampire facial commences with the collection of blood (usually from the arm).
  2. The next step involves centrifugation of the collected blood (approximately high spin for 10 minutes) to separate the platelets rich plasma from the rest of the blood components.
  3. To minimize the pain, an anesthetic cream is usually applied all over the face.
  4. The platelets rich plasma is then gently and carefully injected into the face at multiple spots (use of multiple small injections) strategically to ensure maximum skin renewal and rejuvenation (through increased collagen formation that accelerates the skin healing to a great extent).

From fine lines to dark circles to smile lines, Vampire Facial takes care of every aspect, improving the skin texture, adding an aura to your already pleasing personality. The number of sessions is often determined by the age of the person concerned.

  1. For young adults (in their late 20's or early 30's), a single session may be enough to produce the desired results.
  2. For middle aged people (after 40 years), the sessions are often 3, with a time gap of 4-6 weeks.

Who should avoid the Vampire Facial?

  • The Vampire Facial may be best left avoided for people dealing with an unstable blood pressure, a condition medically known as Haemodynamic instability.
  • Pregnant as well as lactating women should also refrain from this procedure.
  • In addition to these, people having a low platelet count (Critical Thrombocytopenia), chronic infections and septicemia should also avoid Vampire Facial or PRP of the face.

After a Vampire Facial, a person should follow a healthy skin care routine for better results. Keep the skin well hydrated and moisturized as much as you can. Never leave the house without applying a good SPF sunscreen.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
