And 3 years ago I had done root canal in that teeth.
Check whether there is any food lodgement around the tooth crown. Floss regularly and brush twice daily if the pain persists then go for a radiograph.

Hello Lybrate user. Although excessive saliva is not too common, there are a number of conditions that can cause it - some harmless, others more serious. It is possible that your saliva problems are just a result of the way you speak. Some people speak faster or slower than others, just as some people blink more often, breathe faster, or have a more rapid heartbeat. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment.

Hi, There are so many causes for Ulçers. Try to identify the root cause, like any sharp tooth edges, Old fillings, Vitamin deficiency etc. Tongue ulcers should not be there in the same place for more than 6 months. Apply Mucopain gel to the area, continue tablets. Take care.

Bleeding is also due to infected & swollen gums. Advise investigation (OPG x-ray) with clinical examination for the treatment to check for bone loss & pockets. Adv. Artificial enamel filling, deep cleaning or surgical curettage (involves whole cleaning of tooth, bone and gums), a gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person.

After rinsing mouth with mouthwash, do we should rinse with fresh water? if yes after what time? if not then why it can not increase acidity of mouth which will lead to enamel calcium degradation?

The answer is no. You should avoid any type of water or food intake for approx. 30 minutes after using mouthwash. A clinical study evaluated the effect of rinsing with a mouthwash on salivary ph and plaque ph. Following pre treatment ph determinations, subjects rinsed with tap water for 30 seconds and ph was monitored periodically over 30 minutes; after a 10 minute rest period, the procedure was repeated with mouthwash substituted for tap water. Both the plaque ph and the salivary ph remained well above the critical ph of 5.7 (where demineralization occurs during the entire 30 minute period of the study). In addition, it is important to note that mouthwash (ph 4.2) is rapidly neutralized by the buffers in saliva during and after rinsing and any drop in ph will be of extremely short duration, especially when compared to that of carbonated drinks and citrus drinks and fluids which are far more difficult to neutralize. Furthermore, mouthwash is an expectorated product; therefore the contact time of the mouth rinse with the tooth surface is short.

It is possible to recover from having loose teeth. However, you don't have time to waste! loose teeth or teeth shifting around in the mouth is a sure sign that gum disease has been active in the mouth for years. The teeth become loose when the bone and ligament that holds them in place is being destroyed. The truth is that if a person with loose teeth doesn't change their course, their teeth are going to drop out of their mouth one at a time. Gum disease generally develops because of improper brushing and flossing habits, although underlying medical conditions may have a correlation to greater incidence. The bacteria that are found in the mouth as a result of these poor habits begin to affect the surrounding bone and tissues below the gumline. Consult a periodontist at the earliest.

You are on aspirin, which is a blood thinner. It causes excessive bleeding post extraction, so it should be stopped 3 days before extraction of the tooth and 3 days post extraction. You are also on immunosuppresant drugs i. E. Azathioprine and ciclosporin which is suppressing your immune system, to fight infection. You should be admitted, put on intravenous antibiotics pre and post extraction. You are also on wysolone, a corticosteroid. It should be doubled before extraction to avoid adrenal crisis. You have to be very carefully monitored for the procedure. Good luck.
