Underweight is a term describing a person whose body weight is considered too low to be healthy. The definition usually refers to people with a body mass index (bmi) of under 18.5 a weight 15% to 20% below that normal for their age and height group. Low weight may be due to improper diet, reduced assimilation from intestine, illness, metabolism, genetics etc. Thus first we have to rule out any such condition, with this have a healthy diet with more proteins (legumes, eggs, fish, lean meat, vegetables and fruits, drink plenty of water and go for regular exercise. A homoeopathic constitutional treatment will definitely help you a lot.

One of the most important ways to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun. A healthy diet can help you look and feel your best. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. The association between diet and acne isn't clear but some research suggests that a diet rich in vitamin c and low in unhealthy fats and processed or refined carbohydrates might promote younger looking skin. I am 24 year girl. I have a problem of pcos since 5 years. My period s are irregular. I take consult with gynecologist take contraception pills regularly for 2 years, it was my worst experience when I take this medicine my body became unshaped, and have many side effects. I didn't get relief. After that l can't take medicine I control my weight and my period s come but when I put up weight it again stopped. Still I gave no periods for last 2 months. Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

Whenever beta cells of the pancreas are damaged it can lead to high sugar levels and few symptoms of diabetes are - increase in appetite, urine output, thirst, decrease in weight etc and in a known case of diabetic we need to control sugar levels with medication, aerobic exercise and following a diabetic diet.

8 Remedial Measures to prevent Pollution from affecting your skin

You feel you have wasted your youth at the age of 30 when you see grey hair, wrinkles on your skin and all other visible signs of ageing.

You wonder what went wrong, after all, you pumped iron in the gym, ate healthy food, got up early in the morning and did yoga, slept early, meditated, used all kinds of skin creams and the lists goes on and on.

We all do a lot of things to stay young and look young but there is one thing we don’t do and that is protect our body and our skin from pollution.

Have you ever wondered how much pollution can affect your skin?

Probably no, hence read on to find out..

Effects of pollution on skin

1.Causes aging, wrinkles, pimples, black heads etc.

2.Rids all natural oils from your skin

3.Dust forms a layer over your skin and congests your pores.

4.Sun’s heat during noon is very harmful as ultra violet rays of the sun can cause cancer, rashes and diseases. Pollution can cause numerous skin diseases and rashes.

3.Moisturize your skin by applying moisturizer every night before sleeping.

4.Take an oil bath once a week to replenish your skin of its oils.

5.Try to wear a jacket or a coat while going out so that it shields you from the direct effect of pollution.

6.Mix Shikakai Powder, Channe ka Aatta, Haldi Powder, add water as needed, and make a fine paste of it. Use it as a substitute to soap.

7.Use warm water and scrub, to wash your face after coming home.

8.Eat healthy; it will help to flush out the toxins from your system.

Hence, if you follow these tips faithfully and accordingly, then you will be safe from pollution to some extent.

One cannot evade pollution completely; hence, it is advisable to take proper precautions.

Change your food habits. 2-avoid oily ghee preparation overeating 3-Do some aerobic exercises yoga learn from guru. Fro medicinal advice ask privately.

Hi, * stress/anxiety/depression are the main causes of insomnia. * to over come stress/anxiety and depression, you should go for meditation for 30 mnts at the same time this process will inculcate stamina from within to fight, insomnia. * if, possible go for a walk in the morning in open air for an hr. * take plenty of water to eliminate toxins and to keep your blood, diluted. * avoid junk food. Homoe-care @ coffea cruda 200-4 drops at bed time 1 hr before going to sleep. @ ashawagandhaq -10 drops with 2 tsfl of water, thrice a day. Take care.

Good morning ma'am/sir. I missed my period, my LMP was 11 march-15 march. There is no previous history of any menstrual irregularity. Yesterday I went to gyanae, she conduct the upt test which is negative, and breast and pelvic exam which two are normal. I am obese, and they provide me with medroxyprogesterone acetate. And ask to conduct the test like prolactin, thyroid, GTT etc. This is happened to me first time and I am very much anxious. There are times in a life of a woman when she misses her menses. You may avoid taking too much non-vegetarian food. Take fresh fruits like papaya, grapes, anjeer etc. You may take vegetables like carrot, radish, coriander. You can take aloevera and jaggery too. Take proper sleep and manage your stress level.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. Follow the tips *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. *it is best not to comb the hair while it is wet as this leads to greater chances of hair breakage.

Dear, *Sleep with a cervical pillow. *Sleep on your back. Sleeping on your back is the best position to let your entire spine rest comfortably. If you prefer to sleep on your side or on your stomach, make sure your pillow is not too high-around 4 to 6 inches thick. This will prevent your head and neck from turning unnaturally to either side. *Position your computer screen at eye level. *Stay hydrated. The discs between the vertebrae in the spine are made mostly of water. Sip water throughout the day to stay hydrated, keeping the discs pliable and healthy. Ideally, try to drink 8 large glasses of water a day Maintain proper posture. Poor posture can cause neck pain by straining muscles and ligaments that support the neck, resulting in injury over time. *The head-and-shoulders-forward posture is the most common example of poor posture that contributes to neck pain. This occurs when the neck slants forward, placing the head in front of the shoulders. This posture causes the upper back to slump forward as well, placing a strain on the entire spine.
