Improve your diet and meal schedule 1. Take 2/3 glasses of warm water in the morning 2. Go for morning walk for 30 mts 3. No fried/ no spicy/ no junk/ no fast food 6. Take curd 7. Have good sound sleep for 6- 8 hrs 8. Eat simple bland diet 9. Can have some fruits 10 take more water during day. 11. Use ointment clindamycin twice a day apply on acne try for 15 days if no improvement inform me.

I missed my period on this 10th May, did my pregnancy test on 13th may, it was showing negative. But I had pregnancy symptoms. 14th and 15th may. I realised there was a brown patches discharge for 2 days then the 3rd day heavy bleeding like a period days. What does it mean? Was I pregnant?

If you did not get your periods, repeat the pregnancy test. Beta hcg test may also be conducted if home pregnancy test is negative.

If you are underweight and really want to gain couple of kilograms to the current weight, I recommend trying some of these suggestions..Dont go for major changes in your diet a it will make thing worse for you.Start aiming small goals and move forward . Find the one that is suitable for your needs and use it every day • Banana milk shake • Banana 3 times a day • Muskmelon, 3 times a day • Mango with a cup of milk, or mango milkshake • Raisins, 30g daily • Dried figs, 2 times a day • Bran (100-150g) with fruits, ideally papaya • Fruit diet with milk • Cup of hot milk with some honey • Cup of milk, boiled with some almonds, anjeer and date palm • Mixture of white muesli powder, Indian ginseng powder and pomegranate seed powder put in a glass of milk or water and drink for a month • Eat more fatty foods (bitter, flour, rice honey, raisins, figs, dates, etc.)

I am suffering from constipation, stomach burn and pain, hyper acidity since last two years. What should I do?

You should go for tests stool r/m, stool c/s, Lft . blood sugar , Examination of the rectum and lower, or sigmoid, colon (sigmoidoscopy).Examination of the rectum and entire colon (colonoscopy). An X-ray of the rectum during defecation (defecography). Avoid smoking/alcohol if you take. Eat green veg. More fiber foods. Avoid fatty foods,junk foos,oily meal,avoid stress,non-veg.,. drink plenty of water.take digestive meal ,salaad,green veg,whole grain foods,oats.go for walk. You can take tab. Charcol at night. Syp. Aristozyme 10 ml thrice a day.syp. Livoluk 10 ml at night. These can help cure in constipation.

No as such side effect exists but the contents of the tooth paste should not be chemical based, few tooth pastes have high chemical composition so once visit your near by dentist to know more about this.

I have asthma from childhood. I used inhalers to prevent asthma attacks, people say using inhalers stun growth. I weight 56 kgs with height 5 11inches which is low bmi. Is it because of inhalers. If it is what should I do for a better life. Thanks in advance.

Hi, first and foremost, I would advise you to use your inhalers regularly as advised by your doc/ pulmonologist. Simultaneously, you need to figure out the allergen (s) that trigger your asthma. Dust, smoke, pollen, fungi, animal hair, insects, certain food items like wheat, egg, chocolates, flesh foods etc, cold/ hot air, stress, acidity et al are common allergens that might precipitate asthma and the triggers vary from person to person. So, once you identify the right trigger, try your level best to avoid the same. Secondly, make sure your diet/ nutrition, lifestyle including bowel habits etc all are streamlined. You may take a good multi-vitamin with all essential b-vitamins, vitamin c, d, e, omega-3 fatty acids, and the essential trace elements including zinc, magnesium etc all. Learn to relax and keep your stress levels low. Its advisable to eat in moderation and less than your full capacity than eating to your full. Try avoiding tea, coffee, spices, chilies, pickles, extremely hot & cold/ chilled foods. Do consume citrus fruits/ vegetables rich in vitamin c as they help strengthen your immunity. Warm saline gargling, at least once daily, shall help protect you from throat related afflictions that often trigger asthma in certain people. Mostly, fresh air, dry climate, regular exercise go a long way in helping avert precipitation of an attack. Daily consumption of ginger tea helps a lot too, unless you are allergic to it. Inhaling the scent of honey during an asthma attack helps breathe easier. Learning well & practicing yogasanas/ postures and breathing techniques/ pranayams help streamline/ regulate breathing patterns, and increase the airflow to the lungs, increases its air capacity, exercises the respiratory muscles etc, thereby improving the lung function overall. It also helps de-stress and relax thereby facilitating breathe easily, and properly. It is advisable to learn the techniques/ asanas from a trained person who can advise rightly in line with your medical conditions/ requirements.

What are the symptoms of psoriasis. What treatment should be taken. Can it be cured?

Hello, white flacks on body and dandruff in scalp are starting symptoms of psoriasis. Psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis has three stages. First stage is when disease remain on skin and there are scaly patches. Second stage comes when there is pitting on nails and in last stage it enter the joints and there is pain in small joints. Generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurveda has got a complete remedy for psoriasis. It is a safer option and can be used for longer duration without any side effects. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. Psoriasis is a manageable disease and can be managed with ease and effectively using ayurveda. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients.

Weight loss diet depends on many factors like lifestyle, exercise routine, diet consumption, socioeconomic factors, clinical traits, stress etc. However the best way to loose is maintain a complete balance between diet and exercise. An ideal diet should include lots of fiber which is available fresh fruits and vegetables. A good blend of good carbohydrates and optimal proteins. Keep hot water bag or cold water fermentation for your back muscles to relax, then slowly start streching your back muscles and abs muscles ina correct posture. Do surya namaskar each position hold for 10 counts. Maintain your back posture to sit straight and whenever going to lie down in bedplease first turn to a side and then lie down as the same before getting up from bed turn to a side then get up this will not hurt your back muscles, never get up or lie down straight. Whenevr you pick up weights do not try to pull push it away from you, and avoid taking weights from one particular side.

Pain during menstruation is called as dysmenorrhoea. If you r suffering from this since long time and if it is not controlled by meftal spas and if you have to stay at home during menses because of pain, then you should get sonography done to find out the cause. It could be ovarian cyst or endometriosis or fibroid also.

Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Please consult a physiotherapist for the same.

Always choose easy preprations: those food itemts cooked easyly are healthier, contain more nutrition and easy to digest. Avoid deep fried extra oily food: Generally deep fried over cooked foods causes acidity and gastric problem which lead to indigestion and later on weight gain due to improper digestive system. Add colors to your diet: Use color full vegetables, and eat different color fruits, it will provide phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are natural compounds found in plant foods such as vegetables, fruit, whole grain products and legumes. These plant compounds have beneficial effects working with other essential nutrients to promote good health. Divide your plate into four sections with dairy on the side to represent the five food groups: Fruits Vegetables Grains Protein Dairy What is right ammount of food? (It means your Portion size): One easy way to size up portions if you don't have any measurements is to use your hand as a guide: A clenched fist is about a cup — and a cup is the amount experts recommend for a portion of pasta, rice, cereal, vegetables, and fruit. A meat portion should be about as big as your palm. Limit the amount of added fats (like butter, mayo, or salad dressing) to the size of the top of your thumb. Right time: Fix meal timings, and try to stick to those timings. Maintain a proper gap of meals to get it digest well.
