Hello Lybrate user, Non working of fingers could be because of multiple reasons. It could be a neurological problem (like a nerve compression near the wrist). Could be due to arthritis or even plain cold weather. What I suggest is see your orthopaedic and he will examine you and may be prescribe you some blood tests and may be neurological tests to make a proper diagnosis. E In the meantime keep your fingers warm. You can also consider wearing woollen gloves and see if it makes. You feel better. You can give hot fomentation to your fingers, apply some over the counter painkiller sprays and see how that helps you. Do get back if you have more queries.

The lower end of the vertebral column is inflamed and that bone is called coccyx leg pa and the condition is called Coccydynia. The conservative management would be to keep ice in that inflamed area during one time in a day and also to sit in a hot water bowl where the penetration of the heat would help to reduce the inflammation. And to reduce the weight falling on the inflammed surface we suggest patients to use air cushion pillow (also called as doughnut pillow) where in the buttock's weight will not fall exactly on the painful tail bone and that would automatically reduce the pain. For this the best treatment would be to undergo Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics.

I have a thyroid patient and I have a lot of pain in my joints can you tell me what I have to do it.
When leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. Wrap a few ice cubes (or a bag of frozen peas) in a thin towel. Apply this pack on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, while keeping the leg(s) elevated. Do this a few times a day. Note: Do not apply ice directly on the skin, as it may cause frostbite. 2. Massage -- Massage promotes faster recovery from muscle damage that causes leg pain. 10 minutes of massage therapy attenuates inflammatory signaling after exercise-induced muscle damage. In addition, massage improves blood circulation and helps relieve stress and anxiety. Rub some warm olive, coconut or mustard oil on the affected area. Using gentle yet firm strokes, massage your legs for about 10 minutes. Do this 2 or 3 times daily as needed. You can also use a self-massage device or apply pressure to sore muscles using a tennis ball.
