Hello doctor, I have Milia seeds around my eyes since years. I couldn't find any treatment for this till now. please ...
Honey helps treat milia due to its antioxidant and humectant properties (retains moisture and avoids dryness). It also can be combined with other ingredients to make a facial scrub to exfoliate your skin and reduce milia. Simply spread honey, preferably raw honey, on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. Do this daily until you see improvement.

For Best Eye Sight

"Sarvendriya Naam Nayanam Pradhanam" this Sanskrit proverb means, in all sensory organs of our body the eye is very important organ. Now a days not only in adolescence but also in most of the children the eye sight problems are starting. It is nothing but due to the continuous usage of their android cell phones, computers & late night sleeping. So with these various causes due to the stress happening on the retina of the eye these eye sight problems are arising. So to avoid these eye sight problems certain foods were explained to eat regularly as follows:-

(1) all the seasonal fruits are regularly to be taken, because the fruits are having plenty of vitamins especially" c. More over the orange fruits are having full of vitamin - c.

(2) the carret vegetable is having vitamin-" a" carotenoid content is more useful for healthy eye sight.

(3) in our old ancient system of ayurveda the" haridra" was explained to use for avoiding the cataract formation. The haridra is having a, b, e vitamins, more over having antioxidants. So the glass of milk with little harendra, will give good results.

(4) tamata the vegetable is having vitamin" c. It improves the good eye sight.

(5) the olive oil is having full of vitamins antioxidants. It keeps up the eye sight in a healthy manner, so in our kitchen we can use olive oil for our food curries preparation.

Can you please tell me about the symptoms of night blindness and how to over come.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Can you please tell me about the symptoms of night blindness and how to over come.
Night blindness is due to a disorder of the cells in the retina that are responsible for vision in dim light. It has many causes, including:--------- •Short-sightedness----------- •Glaucoma medications that work by constricting the pupil----------- •Cataracts-------------- •Retinitis pigmentosa----------------- •Vitamin A deficiency-------------------- Treatment for night blindness will depend upon its cause. Treatment may be as simple as a new prescription for your glasses or switching glaucoma medications, or it may require surgery in cases of cataracts---------------------- Dietary Management For Night Blindness--------------------Vitamins A, C and E are potent antioxidants which slow down age related macular degeneration and help maintain healthy tissues and cells in the eyes. Vitamins C and E may also inhibit the development or progression of cataracts. Lutein and zeaxanthin are two antioxidants called carotenoids, which help in neutralizing free radicals and maintaining eye health.------------------------ Sources of Vitamin A: Yellow-orange fruits and vegetables such as carrots, mango, papaya, pumpkin, dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, eggs, milk and milk products. Vitamin A can be stored in your body, so you can opt for your favorite seasonal foods!--------------------- Sources of Vitamin C: Citrus fruits such as oranges, tangerines and grapefruit, peppers, tomatoes, kiwis, gooseberries, strawberries and Brussels sprouts.--------------------- Sources of Vitamin E: Nuts like almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, fortified oils, seeds, eggs, milk and dairy.--------------- Sources of Lutein: Green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, broccoli and chard, yellow peppers, mango and bilberries.------------------------ Sources of Zeaxanthin: Oranges, tangerines, eggs, spinach, dark green lettuce, corn, broccoli and orange sweet peppers.-------------------------- For maximizing the benefits of the above vegetables, it is best to have then lightly cooked rather than raw. Cooking or steaming breaks down the cells, making it simpler for the body to absorb these nutrients from the foods.------------------------ Aim to eat at least 2 to 4 servings or more of these foods every day to ensure that you are getting enough of these 5 powerful nutrients.---------------------------------

Crossed Eyes - How Can It Be Treated

Cornea Cataract & Lasik

Crossed Eyes - How Can It Be Treated

Vision is one of our most important senses. Reduced vision that triggers the need for corrective glasses is one of the most common disorders associated with the eyes. Crossed eyes are another such common disorder that affects the eyes. In medical terms it is also known as Strabismus. This condition is a result of miscommunication between the brain and the eye muscles that result in misalignment of the eyes. It is largely a hereditary condition and should not be confused with a lazy eye syndrome.

Crossed eyes can cause double vision and disorientation. Your depth perception may also be affected. It also causes eye strains and headaches that affect the quality of your life. This condition is seen mostly in children. If not treated in time, it can continue into the adult years as well. The development of crossed eyes in adults who have not suffered from this condition as children is usually a sign of a serious condition such as a stroke.

Some symptoms characteristic of this condition are:

  1. Independent movement of eye balls
  2. Tilting the head to a side
  3. Squinting
  4. Varied points of reflection in each eye
  5. Frequently bumping into things as a result of impaired depth perception.

Treatment for this condition can be surgical as well as non surgical. Non surgical treatment aims at strengthening the eye muscles and treating the visual system as a whole. The aim is to not allow the eye to become lazy or amblyopic. Wearing an eye patch over the strong eye and forcing the weak eye to be used is one of the most common form of this treatment. Corrective glasses can also be used to treat this condition in cases where it has been triggered by excessive farsightedness. In some cases, medication may also be injected into the eye to relax the eye muscles.

Surgery to correct this disorder involves correcting vision by strengthening or weakening the eye muscles. To do this, a surgeon must first make a small incision in the outer layer of the eyeball to reach the affected muscles. To strengthen the muscle a small section is removed from the muscle and the remaining part is then rejoined. This makes the muscle shorter and forces the eye to turn towards that side. Alternatively, the doctor may make a partial cut across the muscle to elongate it and let the eye turn further away from it.

I have a little bit of eye problem & I can't see distant objects. So please help me in this regard.
Hello lybrate-user, if you are not able to see distant objects please go for a vision test and if you have got correction then start wearing glasses. If you are having a number and not wearing glasses then your eyesight might deteriorate and no medications will help. Also start having a balanced diet with more green vegetables and fruits.

Example I have red eyes for three days what should I do? (I am asking as I will get balance from earn talktime)
Hello dear there are many causes for redness of eyes mainly allergy, infection, inflammation and dry eyes etc. 1. Redness + itching: allergy 2. Redness + pain+ watering + decreased vision: infection 3. Redness + pain: inflammation 4. Redness+ foreign body sensation: dryness if there is only redness then it is normal as slight exposure to dust, temperature or air or eyes may be red in morning. Stress may also cause redness. I usually do not treat when there is only redness, you can 1. Blink a lot 2. Wash eyes with fresh water 3. Cold compresses 4. Use lubricating eyedrop like flogel these measures will help to keep your eyes healthy but it will not have any effect on redness (treating generalredness alone is not necessary also) having said that you should consult local ophthalmologist for proper examination and treatment.

There is a problem in my eyes I can not see anything. After sunset. How can I do.

There is a problem in my eyes I can not see anything. After sunset. How can I do.
Hi. Night blindness is a condition that makes it difficult to see in low light. The human eye got a very sophisticated system which can function from very dark to very bright light. But in the case of night blindness, the eyes fails to adapt to darkness. Night blindness can be an early sign of vitamin A deficiency, often the result of a diet lacking in vegetables containing beta-carotene, which the body can make into vitamin A. A lack of zinc can reduce retinol dehydrogenase, an enzyme needed to help vitamin A work in the eye. Zinc helps night blindness in those who are zinc-deficient. Most people don’t get enough zinc in their diets. Vitamin A is found naturally in many foods: cod liver oil, liver, sweet potato, carrot, broccoli, butter, kale, spinach, pumpkin, Cheddar cheese, egg, apricot, papaya, mango, pea, milk, tomatoes, seaweed.

I am 23 year old I work on computer, some day I have headache, eye pain, please tell me how it treated?
Hi, Prolonged working on computer can cause a lot of strain on your eyes, neck muscles, wrist etc. For eyestrain: 1) Frequent blinking 2) Use an anti-glare on your computer screen. 3) Increase the font size for less strain. 4) Take frequent breaks 5) When back from work, cover your eyes with a towel dipped in cold water. For Headache: 1) Hydrate yourself by drinking 6-8 glass water 2) Sleep in a dark room. Wear comfortable cotton clothes and just relax. 3) Cold compress to forehead relieves headache by reducing inflammation and constricting blood vessels. 4) Practise muscle relaxation technique by doing deep breathing while lying down with your eyes gently closed. 5) Avoid too much coffee and tea. Incase above do not help, consult me for safe Homoeopathic treatment.

I am having some burning in my eyes pls tell me how to react with this problem please tell me some solution on this I...
Burning of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic. (4) raised intraocular pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care.
