I was effected with pneumonia my age 21 and I smoke from past 5 years. I used antibiotics for pneumonia for 15 days. I have right chest pain before but now it came to right side pain. I am very afraid of lung cancer. Is there any chance for cancer? When I was breathing it's paining.

The common reason in your case is pleurisy that might have occured along with pneumonia infection. Pleurisy is the inflammation of membranes covering the lungs called the pleura, and it can cause the pain chest. Although you do not fit into lung cancer risk due to your age and also symptoms for last 15 days only, but as you are a smoker you should quit smoking and go for a chest x-ray and physician consultation to rule out anything serious not inside.

Please consult with ECG graphs without that it will be difficult to comment on the problem. Also you can get Echo and blood tests called cardiac enzymes to rule out heart problem as the cause and consult a cardiologist.

BP can vary with age, time, work and other factors. Anxiety is also one of the factors for high BP. The readings you have mentioned are not that raised and especially with BP coming to normal after 5 min, it indicates anxiety related rather than anything else, My suggestion is to stop checking BP so often and check it after one month if you are concerned.

My mother is 61 year old and her ECG report says T wave inversion V1 to V3. Should we conduct further tests to diagnose problems with heart? Is this a common problem, which can be ignored? 3 years ago also we did ECG and the same problem was noted. On further consultation stress test was also done but that didn't reveal any heart problem.

Get echo test done plus cardiac ct scan for blockages in blood vessels of heart. Get blood tests for sugar and total lipids. Get back with reports here. This is not a common problem and should not be taken lightly.

Dear, since how long are you having these symptoms? do you smoke? any family history of heart disease are you diabetic or hypertensive. Does your symptom get relieved with pantoprazole? do you have any sweating any palpitations dizziness with the pain? most probably you have duodenal ulcer. But we have to differentiate it from other conditions like an ischemic heart disease. We can help you better if you could answer the above questions.

If I have pain in chest sometime when I eat something spicy den what should I do to control it.
It could be due to hyper acidity 1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato,cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2..Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat.limit fluid intake during meal 4.Drink plenty of water(8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having, 6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days .8.Consult me for further advice

Hi sir/mam. I am Rahul. Age-26 years. I take chlorthalidone 12.5 mg and my bp is under control. I was thinking about starting with cholecalciferol 400IU daily as a preventive measure for osteoporosis. My question is will vit D3 cause over calcium build up in serum as calcium buildup is a side effect of thiazide diuretics? I was also thinking about starting magnesium glycinate due to its high bioavailability at 100 mg dose. Shall I start with Mg?

Dear You may not need all this. Get your blood Vit D3 levels done. Then use supplementation. Over dose is harmful

How to increase my body weight and my Heart beat is slow so what I do for my Heart beat and increase my body.
Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal. · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e. G. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake: Increase your protein intake e. G. Milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts (soya, peanuts, dry fruits), pulses e. G. Rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. Sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad. · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day. Kindly mention your pulse rate and revert.
