For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

Kindly show me digital x rays of ls. Spine sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & shoulder exercises it may have to be further investigated you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Kalmia latifolia 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Urtica urens q (8 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.

How to manage joint pains at home? What are the medicines used to get relief from joint pains.
Joint pains can be due to different reasons. Different medicines for different types of joint pain. For symptomatic relief I can advice you hot water fomentation for pains more than 6 months and icing for pains not more than 1month. Adequate rest to swollen joints and gentle to submaximal exercises to each joint if pain is tolerable for short time.

Hi if you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know in a week time how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Its a tenderness and may be due to wrong sleeping postures you are having this pain or might be due to something else like long hours use of phone etc. You can any muscle relaxant medicine plus hot fomentation.

My left thigh bone is paining when I sleep at night. When I walk it feels as if my thigh bone is rubbing against something and feels painful if I step on some uneven surface. Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. X rays of both knee joints (digital) this could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises.
