if a person has one kidney functioning normally, then he can survive like any other for full life. So if your one remaining kidney is healthy then do not worry, but do consult a good nephrologist periodically and observe whatever precautions doctor might advise.

Dear user with the limited amount of information provided it appears that you are having problems while passing urine because of some sort of obstruction in the outflow tract which indirectly is causing the symptoms of urgency of passing stools. In your case it is advisable if you can meet a urologist in person so that he can thoroughly examine you. You may need a few test and investigations for further evaluation of your condition. Hope this solves your query. Anything more then feel free to revert.

Urinary Incontinence and How It Can Be Treated with Natural Remedies?

BAMS, MD (Panchkarma)
Ayurveda, Mumbai
Urinary Incontinence and How It Can Be Treated with Natural Remedies?

Urinary incontinence or the involuntary urination is a common and distressing problem, which may have a large impact on quality of life. The most common types of urinary incontinence in women are stress urinary incontinence and urge urinary incontinence. Women with both problems have mixed urinary incontinence. Stress urinary incontinence is caused by loss of support of the urethra which is usually a consequence of damage to pelvic support structures as a result of childbirth. It is characterized by leaking of small amounts of urine with activities which increase abdominal pressure such as coughing, sneezing and lifting.

Additionally, frequent exercise in high-impact activities can cause athletic incontinence to develop. Urge urinary incontinence is caused by uninhibited contractions of the detrusor muscle. It is characterized by leaking of large amounts of urine in association with insufficient warning to get to the bathroom in time.

How to diagnose urinary incontinence?

  1. Stress test: The patient relaxes, then coughs vigorously as the doctor watches for loss of urine.
  2. Urinalysis: Urine is tested for evidence of infection, urinary stones, or other contributing causes.
  3. Blood tests: Blood is taken, sent to a laboratory, and examined for substances related to causes of incontinence.
  4. Ultrasound: Sound waves are used to visualize the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra.
  5. Cystoscopy: A thin tube with a tiny camera is inserted in the urethra and used to see the inside of the urethra and bladder.
  6. Urodynamic: Various techniques measure pressure in the bladder and the flow of urine.

Ayurvedic Management of Urinary Incontinence:
Ayurveda is a very effective natural treatment for Involuntary Urination. Medicines help to treat the root cause of disease. Ayurveda remedies are known to be perfectly safe and have been tried by thousands of patients all over the world bedwetting are perfectly safe. These natural remedies do not have any side effects at all.

If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a ayurveda and ask a free question.

Mere kidney me stone hai ilaj bataiye.

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian (RD), PGDD, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S), General Physician
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
Mere kidney me stone hai ilaj bataiye.
What are the size of the stones? stones treatment depends on the types and size of stone, most kidney stones won't require invasive procedures. You may be able to pass a small stone by: drinking water. Drinking as much as 2 to 3 quarts (1.9 to 2.8 liters) a day may help flush out your urinary system. Unless doctor tells you otherwise, drink enough fluid mostly water to produce clear or nearly clear urine. Passing a small stone can cause some discomfort. To relieve mild pain, according to your medical history I may prescribe pain relievers. I am a doctor and renal (kidney) registered dietitian who will also prescribe a customized diet plan and medications to help pass your kidney stone quickly and with less pain. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

How to rest assured that the kidney stone problem is cured permanently?

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda,
How to rest assured that the kidney stone problem is cured permanently?
Kidneys clear impurities from blood and remove the waste in form of urine ? There are two types of stones: o Uric acid stones o Calcium stones (90% of the stones) Urine turns brown or red in color due to presence of blood ? Uncontrollable urge to urinate ? Nausea ? Vomiting ? As stones grow, they cause unbearable pain ? Crystallization of chemicals and minerals present in urine leads to kidney stones Natural home remedy using kidney beans: 1. Take 60 gm kidney beans 2. Add 4 L of water 3. Heat for 4-5 hr 4. Strain the liquid through a fine muslin cloth 5. Allow the liquid to cool 6. Drink 1 glass of this liquid once every 2 hr in a day 7. Do this for a week 8. Do not use the liquid or the beans again 24 hr after the 1st preparation Tips: Drink a glass of apple juice every day. For further assistance concern me privately.

Hi lybrate-user, a 11 mm stone will definitely need some medications in addition to dietary changes for dissolution. If there is hydronephrosis (swelling in kidney), do not delay endoscopic treatment. Otherwise, you can try some medications and dietary changes. Most important things to dissolve kidney stones are to keep your kidneys healthy and keep healthy urine flowing. How to keep the kidneys healthy? 1. Prevent or control hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and diabetes. 2. Exercise regularly; at least 30 min per day. 3. Take adequate natural vitamins and minerals in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables (except moderation in leafy vegetables, beans and tomato) 4. Reduce salt intake (<4 g /day). 5. Reduce animal protein (chicken, mutton, fish, milk etc) intake. How to keep your urine healthy? 1. Drink 3 to 4 litre of fluids/day to keep urine output > 2 to 2.5 litre/day. Make sure that your urine is not yellowish. 2. Increase good minerals like citrate, potassium and magnesium in urine. All these are abundant in fruits, especially citrus fruits like lemon and orange. 3. Decrease bad minerals like calcium, oxalate, uric acid and sodium in urine. 4. Do not reduce calcium intake too much. Calcium is required for bones, teeth, muscles etc. Moreover, too much reduction in calcium increases oxalate in urine leading to stones. 2 small glasses of milk per day is acceptable. 5. Non-vegetarian diet increases uric acid production. Reduce them. 6. Tea, coffee, tomato, greens, chocolate and beans are rich in oxalate. Moderation is required. With all these dietary modifications your kidneys may still be excreting large amounts of bad minerals and less of good minerals due to genetic predisposition. These can be checked in 24 hour urine tests. If so, you may need some special medications to prevent stones. However, if the size of stone is not decreasing after 3 months of medicines and food control, it is better to get it removed endoscopically, since it is a little larger to get dissolved easily.
