BHMS, M.D.

hello lybrate user, circular eruption with itching on skin is tinea corporis(ring worm). it is a fungal infection .it is contagious infection transmitted by fomites such as towel, hotel bed sheets etc. it often have reoccuring tendency even after completing antifungal(ointment, cream) treatment. maintain proper hygiene, keep affected area dry, use separate towels, avoid tight clothing, avoid synthetic cloths. have healthy diet.avoid stress. take homeopathic treatment for ring worm. it's safe, natural and holistic way of treatment. natural homeopathic medicine strikes at the root of problem to ensure complete cure. In chronic cases, medicine is selected on the basis of thorough details of patient like medical history, causes, temperament etc.; such well selected remedy gives complete cure and stops the reoccuring tendency of infection. you can consult me online.message back for proper homeopathic consultation.

Both are never of same size exactly. But if there is much disparity between two sides. it is abnormal and for that reason you need a check up by doctor.

Offlate, I am snoring loudly during night sleep. How to reduce it? What leads to snoring?

Dear Lybrate user. This problem is due to increased mucous and decreased elasticity of the respiratory track. So follow few basic things so that you get better results in short period of time…. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water one hour before meals and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …. 6) do anuloma viloma pranayam regularly early in the morning. A) TAKE 30 ml of divya shawasari pravahi (PATANJALI AYURVEDA) along with 30 ml of lukewarm water after meals, early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2 tablets of SWAS-KASA-CHINTAMANI RASA, early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. C) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyawardhini vati after meals. Do all these things for 30 days. This formulation of treatment is effective. Consult to me for further suggestions. THANKS.

Is surgery is only way to treat nasal septum deviation as my medical exam for job is due. Will that be a issue?

MS - ENT
ENT Specialist, Imphal
If we talk about nasal septal deviation, probably you will find it in 90% of the general population or may be more. Surgery is required only when the deviation is causing the problem like nasal blockage on the side of deviation, frequent nasal bleed, chronic headache or sinusitis. If you have those symptoms, its advisable for surgery or else not required.

It itches a lot and if I scratch inflammation starts. At first it is red and after some time becomes dark and dry and dead skin cells come out. It is spreading always. I tried allopathy, homeopathy, applied steroid cream (unknowingly). I cannot sleep at night for itchy feeling. My skin is sensitive so I stopped using body wash, lotion everything.
