For a 26 day cycle. Which are the safest day for unprotected sex. And also after I pill intake for the very first time. If one get a bleeding for 2 days. Light bleeding. After 6 days of consuming the I pill. And then gets 2 normal periods after that. Within 34 days gap. So does that mean it is pregnancy. Or NO pregnancy. please reply soon. Response awaited.

General Physician, Gurgaon
If no other symptoms like nausea vomiting etc, unlikely to be pregnancy. Urine for pregnancy test is best way to confirm whether pill was helpful or no unsafe is 5 days before and 5 days after of midcycle. For example if one female gets her cycle last day on 1 feb and start bleed on 28th feb then 14th is midcycle, hence 9 to 19 feb is unsafe as such.

Hello iron supplements are available in the drug stores, which can be taken as per choice and requirement. Your other problem appears to be due to some infection. Take plenty of water and liquids. Also get your investigations done for urine and vaginal discharge.

Hello, Excessive sex done without consumption of aphrodisiacs definitely going to deteriorate your health. Semen apart from its giving birth function is responsible for tissue production in the body, excessive loss will hamper this production leading to serious health problems. There is no harm in excessive sex but it should be supported by the correct nutrition, thn only you are going to enjoy a safe sexual life ahead.

There are four areas in body where secreations are required and vagina is one of them so get confirmed by Gynecologist whether it is normal or abnormal. If abnormal same doctor after examination and reports can advise you treatment.

Since you have pcod earlier, so you may take time in conceiving naturally. If you want to conceive soon you should think of iui, as pcod females require ovulation induction many times, for egg formation and its maturation.

Treating Infertility with Homeopathy

Sexologist, Hyderabad
Treating Infertility with Homeopathy

Infertility is a condition, which is diagnosed as the inability of the woman to conceive a child even after a prolonged duration of unprotected intercourse (for about 6 months to 1 year). This condition can affect both the genders. Infertility might cause immense societal embarrassment for the couple and can mar the joys of a relationship. The causes of infertility in male and female are as follows:

  1. In males, infertility might stem from injury to the testicles, erectile problems, premature ejaculation, infections due to sexually transmitted diseases, structural deformation of the testicles, little or irregular sperm count and blockage of the ejaculatory duct.
  2. In females, infertility might develop due to abnormal periods, polycystic ovarian syndrome, diseases which cause inflammation of the pelvis such as gonorrhoea and chlamydia, a disorder in the thyroid glands, blockage of the fallopian tubes and structural deformation of the uterus.
  3. The common reasons of infertility in both men and women can be attributed to increased body weight, old age, excessive consumption of alcohol, diabetes, mental anxiety, side effect of radiation therapy and prescribed medications.

As it is a holistic mode of treatment, Homeopathy can be used to treat infertility as the preparations do not contain any toxin and has zero side effects.
1. In men, if the reason behind infertility is irregular sperm count, then a prescribed dosage of X-Ray might help.
2. If infertility is caused due to erectile problems along with symptoms of severe mental stress, involuntary discharge of semen and lack of sexual desire, a prescribed dosage of Caladium or Selenium might be helpful.
3. If the discharge from the vagina appears to be acidic which gradually destroys the sperms, Borax might be prescribed.
4. If the woman suffers from episodes of irregular, but enduring menstrual periods, a prescribed dosage of Calcarea Carb might be helpful. If the duration of the periods is short, Pulsatilla might also be prescribed.
5. In women, if the symptoms include a lack of sexual desire along with excessive pain in the vagina during sexual intercourse, Sepia might be recommended.

If a woman has regular periods, every 28 days like clockwork, it can be worrisome if her period is a few days early one month. Women's hormones can be thrown out of whack with any number of things, resulting in her period being a few days early or late. According to the nih, in addition to the usual stress, weight changes or perimenopause, there are other reasons for an early period. If the woman has engaged in unprotected sex, then pregnancy may be a concern. Even though it may seem like her period, spotting can occur that might be mistaken for menstruation.

Its already 1&half year gone we got married my wife still not getting pregnant we are having monthly 3to4 sex. Last from past 3months we are having sex in ovulation time.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS

If you are unable to conceive, then roughly 35% cause is due to male factor, another 35% is due to tube factor, 25% due to ovaries and balance 5% due to less common causes. For male factor, semen analysis is needed. For tube and related issues, ideally laparoscopy is to be done. Before the results of these tests, correct treatment cannot be started, whether she is ovulating timely or not.

Diet for Healthy Pregnancy

MD - Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Noida
Diet for Healthy Pregnancy

To support the healthy growth of their baby, pregnant or breastfeeding women need to consume around 400 additional calories per day in order to meet their own and baby's energy needs.

During pregnancy or while breastfeeding your baby, it is important to eat a variety of healthy foods. The essential nutrients listed below are needed to help you and your baby's health. They're found in fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts, beans, dairy products, and lean meats.

Calcium helps build strong bones and teeth and plays an important role in the healthy functioning of the circulatory, muscular, and nervous systems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should get 1,000 mg of calcium a day. Healthy sources of calcium include low-fat dairy products, spinach, calcium-fortified orange juice and cereals.

Eating carbohydrates helps provide energy to support the growth and development of a baby both during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The best sources of carbohydrates are whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, which also are good sources of fiber.

Fiber is a nutrient that can help patients with constipation commonly associated with pregnancy. Whole grains (like whole-wheat bread, whole-grain cereals, and brown rice) and fruits, vegetables, and legumes (beans, split peas, and lentils) are rich sources of fiber.

Folic acid

Folic acid helps the healthy development of a baby's brain and spinal cord. It's also needed to make red blood cells and white blood cells. Women who get 400 micrograms (0.4 milligrams) of folic acid daily prior to conception and during early pregnancy can reduce the risk that their baby will be born with a neural tube defect. Good sources of folic acid include fortified cereals, leafy green vegetables, beans, nuts and citrus fruits,

Healthy Fats

Healthy fats (unsaturated fats) are used to fuel a baby's growth and development. They are especially important for the development of the brain and nervous system. Healthy fats are found in olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil, avocados, and salmon. While fat is necessary for any healthy diet, it's important to limit fat intake to 30% or less of your daily calorie intake.

Iodine helps the body's thyroid gland make hormones that help with growth and brain development. Not getting enough iodine during pregnancy can put a baby at risk for thyroid problems, cognitive delays, and even mental retardation. It is recommended that pregnant or lactating women use iodized salt in their cooking and eat foods high in iodine, like seafood and dairy products.

Eating a diet rich in iron and taking a daily iron supplement while pregnant or breastfeeding helps prevent iron-deficiency anemia. Women who don't get enough iron may feel exhausted and are highly prone to infections. Good dietary sources of iron include lean meats, fortified cereals, leafy green vegetables and legumes like beans, split peas, and lentils.

Protein helps build a baby's muscles, bones, and other tissues, especially in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. The recommended protein intake during the second half of pregnancy and while breastfeeding is 71 grams daily. Healthy sources of protein include lean meat, peanut butter, eggs, poultry, fish, beans, and tofu.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A helps develop a baby's heart, eyes, and immune system. Prenatal vitamins should not contain more than 1,500 micrograms (5,000 IU) of vitamin A and pregnant women should not take vitamin A supplements. Both too little and too much vitamin A can harm a developing fetus. Good sources of vitamin A include milk, dark leafy greens, orange fruits, and vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 helps form a baby's red blood cells; breaking down protein, fat, and carbohydrates; and is needed for normal brain development and function. Rich sources of vitamin B6 include poultry, fortified cereals, fish, whole grains, and bananas.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 plays an important role in the formation of a baby's red blood cells, as well as brain development and function. Vitamin B12 is only found in animal products like meat and eggs, so it's important to speak to the Gynae about taking a B12 supplement during your pregnancy and while breastfeeding as well if you're a vegetarian. Rich sources of vitamin B12 include lean meats, poultry, and fish, and low-fat milk.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C plays an important role in tissue growth and repair, and in bone and tooth development. Vitamin C also helps the body absorb iron. Good sources of vitamin C include citrus fruits, fortified fruit juices, broccoli, and tomatoes.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is helpful in the body's absorption of calcium for building healthy bones and teeth. Good sources of vitamin D include fortified low-fat or fat-free milk, egg yolks, fortified orange juice and salmon.
