Dear lybrate user, You should not sleep without pillow. Your neck will be more stiff. Give support to your neck not head with towel roll. Daily do exercise of neck .

I checked my father blood sugar after meal it is 217 and also having back pain what should I do.
1. Do regular aerobic exercise for 1 hour daily (brisk walking, jogging, running, swimming, cycling etc) 2. Reduce weight if overweight 3control diet a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (akhrot) e) avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/jowar/ragi, moong and chana dal. F) avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink 4. Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting dietitian 5. Monitor your fasting, pp blood sugar 3 monthly and hba1c six monthly 6. Consult diabetologist for advice and treatment.

Hi, I am having plantar Fasciitis. When first time I feel it, I had gone to doctor and after one injection, it was gone completely. But after some days when I did a job (standing job for 8 to 10 hrs), the problem again started. Then also after diagnosis, my doctor told me to take some medicine. By taking these medicine, I am getting relief from pain to some extend (not completely), but due to my standing job, I am feeling the same same problem when I stop taking the medicine. Can you please suggest me for the permanent cure of this plantar Fasciitis. Thank You.

Hello it is a inflammation of planter fascia ligament, well you can do hot and cold therapy, ultrasound therapy, rest and use silicon rubber pads. You can also take ibuprofen as a pain relief. The following exercise are: rom exe like pull back ankle standing calf stretch calf stretch with use of the towel with knee straigth heel stretch with use of the towel with knee slightly bend standing heel strech with knee slighty bend strengthning exe with resistance rubber.

I am 26-years-old suffering from excessive fatigue, frequent headaches, feeling lack of energy, crepitation in joints...
Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretching Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it.. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated Hamstring Stretch While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds Repeat 3 times for each leg.

Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. Take homoeopathic medicine rhus tox 200 twice daily in the morning and in the evening and give feedback after 6 days.

Two month ago my left shoulder is dislocated I treat this but little pain in my shoulder what can I do.
You need to start strengthening exercises. Use elastic resistance band. Avoid rotating the arm outwards. Pain will ease of slowly. You are free to perform regular activities but avoid sudden movements. A few shoulders dislocate again. So complete your rehab and take care.
