I can understand that its tough to do your daily chores with pain. Try changing your posture when sitting for long periods, take a break and do stretching exercises when sitting for long time. Also hot and cold fermentation can help. Back pain can be due to many causes. Hope you feel better.

I am a comp. Guy, I used to sit on computers continuously for 6-8 hours at least, but I feel pain in my neck, I qm facing problems in doing my word, how to grt rid from this pain.

Hi, apply rumalaya liniment and massage for 10 mins and give hot water fomentation. This can be done thrice daily. If the pain is severe, take tab. Yogaraja guggulu 1-1-1 with hot water after food. Use soft medium sized pillow while sleeping. Perform neck exercises for 10 mins in the morning and evening regularly.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

STOP ALCOHOL ONCE FOR ALL. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello , First of all you should take rest for 1-2 days so that your body can fight with underlying infection with its full immunity and start the below medication:- Take gelesemium 200, twice daily . Take Eupatrium perf 200, 5 drops thrice daily.Take Antifebrinum 3x, 2 tabs , thrice daily. Take Alfavena malt, 1 tsf, thrice daily. Drink lots of water and take light homemade food like dalia and khichdi, avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk and cold drinks. In case of high uncontrollable fever, don't panic you should do cold sponging to lower down the temperature.If fever does not goes then go for a set of blood tests. Revert me with feedback. Take care of your health.GOOD DAY.

Neck advice neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Take frequent breaks at work. Core strenthening exercises. Use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck gentle shoulder stretching. Core strengthening exercises. Gentle neck exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side.

Cause of cramps are many ,from dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, calcium ,vitamin D deficiency, B12 deficiency, circulatory issues etc. Consult a physician for tests. Do stretching exercises after oil massage of legs. Calcium,vitamin D, B12 supplementation, lots of water and fruit juice may prevent.

My wife had for her ankle fractured. We got it plastered. But the plaster seems to be a bit loose now after 8-9 days. Should we remove the current plaster and get it done again?

I have a lot of back pain just below my shoulder blade and when I like sit for a long time or use laptop for a long time this pain and there is a lump under my right nipple which pains a lot with this backpain sometimes this pain is unbearable. Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 3. Calc fluor 6x (3tabs) thrice a day for a week. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in all the medicines.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Inform after 10 days for further guidance.

Dear lybrate user. Upper back pain can be due to myofacial pain or facet joint pain commonly. Try to improve your posture, sit with support, daily thoracic stretching exercises for 30 min to 1 hour after hot fomentation and massage with a short course (1-2 week) of nsaid.

You need to change chair or get the back support. Continue exercises. Check blood for serum vitamin d levels.

Hi, thank you for the question. Your father might be suffering from varicose vein. You can consult a neuro physician for proper assessment. There are test to check blood circulation and nerve conduction till the end. Some medication can give relief in pain by improving blood circulation and nerve conduction. As he had to stand for long hours, consider stockinette, that help in reducing swelling and support the circulation.

I am having l4&5 listhis. Due to that seviare knee problem. Docctors asked me to get knee transplantation. More over right ear is only10% working. Iam using hearing aid also. I am 67 old. Oldage may be the cause. But I don't want to go for surgery.

Knee surgery-total knee replacement (tkr) surgery is quite safe & gives uniformly good results, if done in a well equipped center. Hello Mrs. low levels of vitamin d can cause bone and joint pains. You can either take arachitol injections or arachitol oral suspension (if available), once a week for 4 weeks. Along with it, you will have to take d 3 up granules-one sachet mixed in one glass of water and drink it once a week for 6 weeks. After the sachets are over, you will have to take tab d3 up 1000 iu daily one capsule for a month. This entire course will solve your problem of deficiency and of leg pain too.
