You must visit a counselor and I am certain you may be asked to see a doctor too, for these conditions are rather indicative. Being in late adolescence will also be the time for final resolutions to childhood issues and is a good time to get proper help from a professional and resolve this problem. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

In order to prevent tension headaches, you need to reduce your anxiety. The first thing you need to do is make sure that you understand your headaches are a result of anxiety. For those with severe anxiety, or that suffer from panic attacks, it's not uncommon to get a rush of anxiety when you suffer from a headache, or any kind of weird sensation in your head. For example, a quick, sharp, shooting pain in the head that happens in a moment and leaves quickly can easily be caused by anxiety, but has a tendency to trigger anxiety attacks in those with panic disorder. You need to take time to convince yourself of this thought, because one of the main issues with tension headaches is that the fear it's something worse leads to further stress and further tension. In addition, you need to follow it up with anxiety reduction strategies: •Make sure that you're exercising, eating healthy, and drinking plenty of water. Poor eating habits and inactivity genuinely lead to more anxiety, and this may easily be contributing to your anxiety and headaches. •Learn anxiety reduction strategies for before your anxiety is out of control. Tension headaches can be stopped if they're stopped when the headaches are mild. As soon as you start feeling stressed, start deep breathing or progressive muscle relaxation to gain more control over the amount of stress you experience. •Always try to get enough sleep. Sleep is one of life's main coping strategies, and a lack of sleep contributes to further stress, and further eye strain (both of which lead to more tension headaches. Finally, you'll need to figure out how your anxiety is affecting you and what steps can be taken to cure it completely. If you have any further query feel free to contact. Regards, Sukanya Biswas.

In diabetes diet plays a very important role. You need to be very particular about food choices & timings to control blood glucose levels. Even medicines will not work properly unless you are particularly about food choices. I would suggest you to properly follow the do's and don't of diabetes so to control the blood glucose levels.

You are thing too much about that girl. We need some thing that all times it is not possible to get it. This principle applies to every one. When we are not getting we depress. That is not good thing in all times. When it is not happen as per our wish. Then leave it. Make good friendly relations with other girls who are nearest to you. Then the severity of the problem rectified. Share your internal feelings with your close friends and family members. One girl is not your aim of your entire life. Girls are coming and going in our lif. But we are permanent. Do not spoil yourself to think about unnecessary aspects. Better to control your thoughts. Plan a good career and concentrate on your studies. If not possible to control your thoughts then better to consult psychiatrist. He will give some medicine which helps to you very much. Ok best of luck.

How to increase memory power for concentration as I am not able to concentrate and grab the reading stuff as of older days.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
7 Ways to Remember Anything Research-based strategies to boost your memory and keep it strong 7 Strategies for Remembering 1.Become interested in what you're learning. We're all better remembering what interests us. Few people, for example, have a difficult time remembering the names of people they find attractive. If you're not intrinsically interested in what you're learning or trying to remember, you must find a way to become so. 2.Find a way to leverage your visual memory. You'll be surprised by how much more this will enable you to remember. For example, imagine you're at a party and are introduced to five people in quick succession. How can you quickly memorize their names? Pick out a single defining visual characteristic of each person and connect it to a visual representation of their name, preferably through an action of some kind. Remember: Memory is predominantly visual. 3.Create a mental memory tree. If you're trying to memorize a large number of facts, find a way to relate them in your mind visually with a memory tree. Construct big branches first, then leaves. Branches and leaves should carry labels that are personally meaningful to you in some way, and the organization of the facts ("leaves") should be logical. 4.Associate what you're trying to learn with what you already know. It seems the more mental connections we have to a piece of information, the more successful we'll be in remembering it. This is why using mnemonics. Write out the items to be memorized over and over and over. 5.When reading for retention, summarize each paragraph in the margin. This requires you to think about what you're reading, recycle it, and teach it to yourself again. Even take the concepts you're learning and reason forward with them; apply them to imagined novel situations, which creates more neural connections to reinforce the memory. 6.Do most of your studying in the afternoon. Though you may identify yourself as a "morning person" or "evening person" at least one Study. Suggests your ability to memorize isn't influenced as much by what time of day you perceive yourself to be most alert but by the time of day you actually study—afternoon appearing to be the best. 7.Get adequate sleep to consolidate and retain memories. Not just at night after you've studied but the day, you study as well. Far better to do this than to stay up cramming all night for an exam. CONCENTRATION TIPS Here’s some tips to get into a state of deep concentration where work / or studies flow easily so that you can do well in examinations/ and or do your work well. 1) Cut Off the Noise Getting into a state of concentration can take at least fifteen minutes. If you are getting distracted every five, you can’t possibly focus entirely on your work. Request that people don’t interrupt you when working on a big project. If you are required to answer phones and drop-in’s immediately, schedule work when the office is less busy. 2) Structure Your Environment The place you work can have an impact on your ability to focus. Try to locate yourself so you are facing potential distractions such as doors, phones or windows. This way you can take a glance to assess sounds that would otherwise break your focus. 3) Clarify Objectives Know what your goal is clearly before you start. If you aren’t sure what the end result is, the confusion will make it impossible to focus. 4) Divide Blobs. If you have a large project that needs work, clearly identify a path that you will use to get started working on it. If the sequence of actions isn’t obvious, it will be difficult to concentrate. Taking a few minutes to plan not only your end result, but the order you will complete any steps, can save hours in wasted thinking. 5) Know the Rules Get clear on what the guidelines are for the task ahead. What level of quality do you need? What standards do you need to follow? What constraints are there? If the rules aren’t clear from the outset, you will slip out of concentration as you ponder them later. 6) Set a Deadline Deadlines have both advantages and disadvantages when trying to force concentration. A deadline can make it easier to forget the non-essential and speed up your working time. If you give yourself only an hour to design a logo, you will keep it simple and avoid fiddling with extravagant designs. Time limits have disadvantages when they cause you to worry about the time you have left instead of the task itself. 7) Break down Roadblocks Roadblocks occur whenever you hit a tricky problem in your work. This can happen when you run out of ideas or your focus wavers. Break down roadblocks by brainstorming or planning on a piece of paper. Writing out your thought processes can keep you focused even if you might become frustrated. 8) Isolate Yourself Become a hermit and stay away from other people if you want to get work done. Unless your work is based on other people they will only break your focus. Create a private space and refuse to talk to anyone until your work is finished. Put a sign on your door to steer away drop-ins and don’t answer your phone. 9) Healthy Body, Sharper Mind What you put into your body affects the way you concentrate. Nobody would expect peak performance if they showed up drunk to work. But if you allow yourself to get chronic sleep deprivation, overuse stimulants like caffeine or eat dense, fatty foods your concentration will suffer. Try to cut out one of your unhealthy habits for just thirty days to see if there is a difference in your energy levels. I’ve found even small steps can create dramatic changes in my ability to focus. 10) Be Patient Before I write an article, I often sit at my desk for a fifteen or twenty minutes before I put finger on the keyboard. During this time I feel a strong urge to leave or do something else. But I know that if I am patient, I’ll stumble upon an idea to write about and enter a state of flow. Without a little patience, you can’t take advantage of flow when it rushed through you. If you need strong concentration I recommend periods of 90-120 minutes. Any less than that and you will waste too much time getting started before the flow can continue. More than this is possible to sustain focus, but you will probably benefit from a quick break. These are the general guidelines for concentration, studying well or doing your job. Regards.

Dear, family harmony depends on both husband and wife. Both should be able to respect and trust each other. I think two or three counseling sessions and psycho therapy techniques should solve your problem. Let me know if you are willing to undergo counseling sessions and tailor made psycho therapy through mobile. Take care.

I am feeling depressed and low duw to my criticism by my boss. I feel down and the hours before I leave for office are very heavy. I feel choked and down.

M.Phil clinical psychology
Psychologist, Gurgaon
A boss duty is always to pinpoint the limitation or mistakes which one commits. So it is a part of their job, but taking criticism to such an extent which would hinder your growth or makes you highly distressed is not a good thing. So it is important for you to instead of repeatedly thinking about it, try to de-stress yourself by engaging in pleasurable and relaxable things like going out with family or friends, playing or doing some exercise second, all of us at one time or other become highly tensed when we are being criticized at workplace and leads to low motivation, less job satisfaction and stressed up. But dealing with criticism in a positive manner and instead of worrying over it, try to see what all things are there where you are lacking and if possible there can be chances of changing those things.

I can understand your situation. Its wrong to use tramadol HCL for such a long duration. You have to undergo detoxification under some experienced psychiatrist of this field. Only after detoxification we can decide whether you should put on drug free condition, antagonist or agonist maintenance. So do consult.
