Hi, PMS I not a must before periods. But if you had sexual contact during your fertile days, pregnancy may occur. Wait for 2-3 days for the periods to start. If not, then do urine test for pregnancy.

Vagina- Things You Must Know About it

MBBS, DGO

Vagina- Things You Must Know About it

Pregnancy can wreak havoc in your body; be it your hormones overflowing or the constant crying of your newborn that makes you agitated after a point of time. Your baby will probably be your top priority in times like these but maybe, you can put yourself on the list as well once in a while because carrying a human inside isn’t a very easy task.

Vaginal soreness
On the off chance that you suffered a vaginal tear or an episiotomy while delivering, the injury may sting for a couple of weeks. Broad tears may take more time to heal. Meanwhile, you can promote healing by:

  1. In case of sitting becoming uncomfortable, try sitting on a cushion or cushioned ring.
  2. Utilize a squeezer-bottle in order to pour lukewarm water over the vulva while you're urinating. Press a cleansed washcloth immovably against the injury when you hunker down for passing stool.
  3. Cool the injury using an ice compress, or place a cool witch hazel cushion between the wound and a clean sanitary napkin.
  4. Take stool softeners or analgesics as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
  5. For treatment of episiotomy wound in 1st week - betadine wash should be used 3-4 times a day.

While you're recovering, anticipate that the uneasiness will gradually reduce. Contact your doctor if the pain increases; the injury gets swollen, hot and excruciating; or if you notice a discharge with pus.

Vaginal discharge
Vaginal discharge (lochia) might be a problem for several weeks post-delivery. Expect a red, overwhelming stream of blood for the initial few days. The release will continuously decrease, getting to be watery and changing from pink or chestnut to yellow and finally white. Contact your doctor if:

  1. You have substantial vaginal drying
  2. The discharge has a foul scent
  3. You have a temperature of 100.4 F (38 C) or more

Contractions
You may feel contractions for the initial few days post-delivery. These constrictions, which frequently seem like menstrual cramps help in preventing excess bleeding by compressing the vessels. These contractions have a tendency to get more intense with subsequent deliveries. Your healthcare supplier may suggest an OTC pain reliever as well. Contact your healthcare personnel in the event of fever or if the stomach area is tender to your touch. These symptoms and side effects could show a uterine disease.

routinely in cyst case of less than 3 cm cyst go off in nonpregnant, premenopausal patients cyst resolution take place by 2-3 months, but routineultrasonograph is main with thyroid & harmonal _usg infertility check up as danger is of infertility as it is anvoulatry follicle in women which develop in cyst ur history is incomplete so is it endometriosis or hemorrhagic cannot rule out but hemorrhagic cyst means Anovulatory follicles may continue growing to enlarged diameters. Menses would be expected to be delayed for as long as follicle go away fails to occur. Typically large anovulatory follicles regress spontaneously and rarely require further managment but main concern is of infertility Endometriomas - These are associated with endometriosis, which causes a classic triad of painful and heavy periods and dyspareunia The coexistence of endometriosis and anovulation may be diagnosed by the presence of ovarian endometrioma. IMP :Careful surveillance of the ovary should be repeated for persistent ovarian cysts to determine whether there is self normal cyst disappear or need to initiate a plan for appropriate medical and surgical intervention.to avoid infertility homeopathy will help not only cyst resolution but also eradicate disorder leading to cyst & any other harmonal imbalance

Breast Lift Surgery - Understanding The Benefits It Has To Offer!

Breast Lift Surgery - Understanding The Benefits It Has To Offer!

Breast lift surgery or Mastopexy is a form of plastic surgery used for lifting or raising sagging breasts in women. The size, contour and elevation of the breasts are modified or corrected using this procedure.
The position and shape of the breasts in women change after pregnancy, breastfeeding, suffering weight loss or with age. A breast lift surgery is effective in treating sagging breasts.

During a breast lift surgery, extra skin is removed from the breasts, and the surrounding tissues are tightened for reshaping of the breasts. The nipples and areola are also reshaped to a better location. A breast lift surgery may involve the procedures of liposuction and abdominoplasty for an even better rejuvenation. Breast lift surgery is undertaken by many women for different reasons. Some women do not like their breast shape or volume after pregnancy and have this surgery done.

A breast lift surgery offers various benefits, such as

  • A breast lift surgery improves the body image of a woman and also boosts her self-esteem. Women feel their breasts have been affected negatively after pregnancy and undergoing this surgery enables them to have satisfactory breasts again. A breast lift surgery does not cause the breasts to increase in size. They appear bigger because they are higher in position and firmer than before.
  • Having a breast lift surgery can push you to make better and healthier choices about your lifestyle. For undergoing any form of surgery, it is recommended that you stay as healthy as possible. This includes proper diet and eating habits along with regular exercise.
  • A breast lift surgery improves the quality of life in women. Body image is improved, and the woman feels good about her breasts and body as a whole. According to studies, 92% of women having a breast lift surgery had improved self-esteem and a better, healthier life than before. Women become less conscious about their breasts after the surgery, as the breasts become satisfactory.
  • As a result of this surgery, some clothes may fit better, and a woman can experiment with trendier outfits, and may also not wear a bra at times.
  • A breast lift surgery gives women a better proportion between their breasts and buttocks. The contrast is better and makes a woman more attractive. More cleavage is created, and the breasts get more projected.
  • A breast lift surgery is an efficient procedure to improve the breasts of women. Sagging breasts are corrected by a surgery which gives certain benefits to women.

Homeopathic Remedies For Different Types Of Bronchitis!

Bronchitis is basically an infection in the bronchial tubes. The bronchial tubes which basically carry air to your lungs sometimes get infected due to cold or flu. That's when you tend to develop the infection in the mucous membranes of the bronchial tubes known as bronchitis.

Symptoms of bronchitis
The basic symptoms of bronchitis include:
● Intense coughing
Sneezing
Wheezing
● Feeling of discomfort in chest
Shortness of breath
Blocked nose, headache
● Low fever
● Body aching

Types of bronchitis
Bronchitis can be of two types:

  1. Acute bronchitis: Acute bronchitis is generally a viral infection. It causes coughing up mucus, sore throat, shortness of breath and fever. Generally acute bronchitis stays for a week or less. Acute bronchitis is caused by bacteria or viruses. Apart from this, irritants, fumes, dusts are also responsible for causing bronchitis.
  2. Chronic bronchitis: Chronic bronchitis is much more severe than acute bronchitis. It causes persistent cough with mucus, breathing difficulties, fever etc. It can last till 1-2 years depending on its severity. The symptoms may get worse if not treated properly. Chronic bronchitis might turn to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease if it occurs with pulmonary emphysema. Chronic bronchitis can be caused due to irritation of the airway tissues and lungs. But the most common reason behind chronic bronchitis is smoking. Apart from these, repeated acute bronchitis can also cause long-term chronic bronchitis.

Treating bronchitis with homeopathy
Homeopathy is one of the holistic ways of treating bronchitis. Decades of research has established homeopathy as one of the most effective and safest treatments. Bronchitis can be cured and the symptoms can be reduced with the homeopathic treatment.

  1. Arsenic Album: Arsenic Album is one of the best medicines for treating bronchitis. It is more effective in treating bronchitis which is combined with severe weakness.
  2. Bryonia: This is another effective medicine for bronchitis. This is more effective when there is severe cough with mucus, chest pain while coughing, body ache, sore throat etc. Patients with such symptoms are prescribed bryonia.
  3. Antimonium tartaricum: This medicine is prescribed in two phases of bronchitis. It is mostly prescribed to the young infants or the older people. This is prescribed when the patient suffers from wheezing, chest pain, coughing up mucus, vomiting etc.
  4. Sulphur: Sulphur is great for treating chronic bronchitis. It is a great remedy for treating severe cough, breathing difficulties, severe chest pain and breathing attacks.
  5. Pulsatilla: Pulsatilla is an effective remedy for treating chronic bronchitis. This remedy works best for chronic bronchitis with nausea, vomiting and severe cough with mucus.
