We need to identify cause of recurrent eye lid infection and then treat it. Rule out diabetes by checking blood sugar levels -both fasting and 2 hours after a meal. Rule out refractive error, eyelid inflammation called blepharitis, eye allergies, dryness...They cause eye rubbing and germs from ur hands cause eye infections. maintain eyelids hygiene as well. So wash your hands or use a hand sanitiser every 1-2 hours. DON'T touch your eyes.

I am having problem of allergy retinitis consulted various doctors. Taking regular anti allergic" allegra -m" of sanofi. Please suggest something.

Phaco Development Program, Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, DNB Ophtalmology, MBBS

There is nothing known as allergic retinitis. Mostly you have allergic conjunctivitis. You can try pataday e/d one drop daily in the morning in both eyes for 3 months. Also whenever you have severe irritation avoid rubbing your eyes and instead wash it with cold water or place ice over your closed eyes.

Sometimes I can see the future it takes time to happen but it happens. It happens in 2 to 3 months or years also but it happens. And when it happen I can feel that the vision has already came.

Yours is a case of Precognitive dreams and these dreams are dreams that appear to predict the future through a sixth sense; a way of accessing future information that is unrelated to any existing knowledge acquired through normal means.Let me give you an example of what many people would deem as precognition, but is actually quite simply explained. Rosy has a dream that she is pregnant and three weeks later discovers that she is pregnant in real life. This is not really a psychic dream because Rosy had access to plenty of unconscious insight: her body gave her subtle signals, and she knew she had been trying to conceive. In the same way we all have intuitive dreams like this. They express our innermost hopes and fears based on unconscious information that we may or may not be repressing. There is nothing paranormal about Rosy's dream.Indeed, to be deemed a truly precognitive dream with paranormal roots, we need to access unpredictable information about the future. And that is one reason why precognition is hard to prove.

Hello, get your eyes tested from an opthalmologist. Include the following for getting better vision: vitamins a, c, e, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. Dha is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for strengthening eye muscles: -begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds. -one helpful way to do this is to imagine that you are looking at the number 12 on a clock. Then, follow the numbers around the clock with your eyes. Repeat going the other way around the clock. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Take physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month and instill euphrasia eye drops twice a day. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Hello, You should follow the below guidelines;- Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

I am 21 year old I have severe eye problem, my eyes will become red when exposed to cold.

FICO, DNB Ophtalmology
Ophthalmologist, Gandhinagar
I am 21 year old I have severe eye problem, my eyes will become red when exposed to cold.
Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic. (4) raised intraocular pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. (6) increased blood pressure. This has known to cause redness which is also known as sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. In this regard, a complete ophthalmic evaluation and a systemic evaluation is warranted. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. You could also use a lubricant eye drop along with an anti-histamine eye drop. (3-4 times daily) don't take your eyes for granted! protect your sight with these six tips: a. Eat healthy antioxidant rich diet for good vision b. Quit smoking c. Wear sunglasses to protect eyes from dust, uv light, pollution d. Wash your eyes 3-4 times a day e. Look away from the computer screen at regular intervals f. Avoid rubbing your eyes with fingers/ cloth/ shirt/ dupatta, etc. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care, regards.

You either have weak eye muscles for which you exercise your eyes or you might have refractive error so checkup is mandatory for you.
