Hi. I understand your concerns. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigations like chest x ray to look for infection. If it's normal you will need to undergo pulmonary function test which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of asthma based on which treatemnt can be started. We in india usually do not treat latent tb, where as in american and european countries they may treat it also. The reason for it are: 1. Our 40% of population is infected with tb and treating 40% of the population is not a practical task. 2. Even if an individual takes treatment for latent tb, the tb disease is so common in the community that person may still again get tb infection from a tb patient in community. Taking a good diet, regular exercise, leading a stress free life, not smoking, living a spacious atmosphere are some of the ways of preventing tb disease. To detect tb infection there are two test 1. Mantoux/tuberculin test. 2. Interferon gamma release assays (igra).

there are a various causes for stomach problems, treatment depends on the location, severity and type of pain. Laboratory tests such as the complete blood count (cbc), liver enzymes, pancreatic enzymes (amylase and lipase), urinalysis are frequently performed in the evaluation of abdominal pain. If you have h. Pylori infection for which I can prescribe a 14 day treatment plan which will eliminate it. Untreated infection causes ulcers in stomach and may finally lead to cancer. Hello.. Dark circles can be because of low haemoglobin, stress,hereditary,Long hrs on laptop, less sleep etc. Check ur haemoglobin levels. what was your normal weight before getting infected? i.e. when you were absolutely normal. usually people suffering from tuberculosis lose weight during disease process which recovers with treatment gradually. the medicines of treating tuberculosis doesn't cause weight gain , as is falsely believed.

Sleep is the best reliever of all stress and physical pain. Not only is it important to get sleep, but also to sleep soundly and without any disturbance. The quality matters. Here are a few tips to get better sleep: 1. It is important to maintain the same sleep schedule every single day. This helps to naturalize your body clock and get the best quality sleep. 2. Switch off all mobile phones, laptops and other electronic devices. Their artificial glow not only hampers your eyesight, but also prolongs the amount of time your body takes to relax and fall off to sleep. 3. If your back pain causes you to continually wake up in the middle of the night in discomfort, then sleep with a pillow or cushion between your legs so as to straighten out your back and relieve pent up stress. 4. The importance of your pillow can never be stressed upon enough. Your pillow should be not too fat, hard or soft. It should just about support the natural curve of your neck, so that it is perfectly aligned with the centre of your body. Correct sleeping postures are extremely important. 5. Make sure your room is nice and dark so as to stimulate the secretion of a hormone called melatonin that is regulated by light exposure. Darker the room, greater melatonin, making you more sleepy. 6. Those who exercise regularly and well are known to be fitful sleepers. Exercise well before bedtime. If required, do some light yoga or stretching exercises that promote sleep. 7.
