Poor neck posture-induced cervical vertigo and pain in the neck are common conditions in modern society. These can lead to seemingly unrelated issues such as trouble in swallowing, numbness, recurrent headaches, and even balance issues. - Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)

Practise each pose for 3 times and hold each pose for 5 to 10 seconds every 3 hours till pain reduces and then progress to advanced poses. You can also use a cold pack on painful area for 10 minutes after doing stretches. If pain still persists consult a Physiotherapist for individulised treatment.
Dizziness, vertigo and balance issues are common symptoms and most of us may have experienced momentary symptoms. It is a sensation of feeling a movement even after the movement has stopped. For example the sensation we feel when we get off a merry-go-round or feeling butterflies in the stomach when we are on a roller coaster ride. Imagine if these symptoms are constant and start affecting our day to day activities. Even a simple task of walking can be bothersome as we may feel like our body is drifted and we cannot balance properly. Some of the conditions that cause vertigo are: BPPV or Positional Vertigo, Meniere's, Labrynthitis, Vestibular Migraines, Vestibular neuritis, mal de barquement syndrome, perilymph fistula, toxicity of ears due to certain antibiotics, acoustic neuroma etc.
- Balance problems or Disequilibrium means unsteadiness, imbalance or loss of equilibrium. It can occur as a primary symptom or with vertigo and dizziness.
You need to consult a Vestibular Therapist or Vertigo specialist who can diagnose your problem correctly. If you have Positional Vertigo known as BPPV then specific tests and manevers can help cure it completely. Hi I am facing knee pain after post pregnancy I am falling down every step if I am climbing staircase.
Remember the 30-30 rule - prevent a hunch back.
It is a golden winning rule and it can help prevent back ache.
- For every 30 minutes of doing a certain activity do 30 seconds of movement in opposite direction.
- Every 30 minutes that you sit in the chair get up and do a stretch with a backward bend for 30 seconds.
- If your neck is bothering you just take a moment to draw your chin in as if getting a double chin, roll your shoulders back and down and stretch for 30 seconds.
- If you realize you haven't taken a deep breath in 30 minutes then take a moment to focus on your breathing, take slow deep breaths for 30 seconds.
- Set a timer for every 30 minutes you spend sitting, stretch for 30 seconds and feel better and look better.
Using heat and cold therapy for muscle and joint pains. Both heat and cold therapy can help. It may take some trial and error to find out which works best for you.
