Dear Labrate user, you problem is related to digestion. Acidity is due to over production of acid or due to decreased movement of the digestive system. First stop using things that increases acidity like excess of tea coffee and doing fasting/ empty stomach. Take regular meals even small. The other nothing that is regular motion. If you have constipation that also increases acidity.

For the last seven to eight years, I was diagnosed as suffering from "affective disorder" As per psychiatrist I am suffering mild depression. It manifested then I was unable to sleep for days and, less confidence, fear of loosing and defeat. Doctor suggested antidepressant medicine and for sleep. I feel better but I have been hooked with the medicine. On any day if I do not take the medicine, I remain whole night, no sleep, only roll on the bed. I am with the medicine, but I do not feel weel in the morning, lethargy whole day, feel sleepy, but poor sleep in the night. My sleep breaks sometimes at 2, or 3 a.m. And remain in an unconscious state but full aware of night is passing away dawn is there. Can I get a permanent solution to all these problem and weak immunity, weak digestive power. A.K.Sarkar.

If you have trouble sleeping, there are some things you can do to help yourself get a good restful night. These include making changes in: your environment your behaviour and routine your thinking change your environment are there any helpful changes you can make? bedroom too light (or dark) bedroom too hot or too cold bedroom too noisy bed too uncomfortable partner keeping you awake? (snoring, restless etc) tv, computer, tablet or mobile in your bedroom making changes to your environment so that your bedrooms become a restful place for sleeping. Remove excess light (particularly blue light), make sure the temperature is right, and check the bed and pillow are comfortable. If you cannot reduce the noise, then consider ear-plugs designed for sleep use. Remove tv and device screens from your bedroom, and read from a conventional book rather than an e-book on a back-lit screen. Change your behaviour use your choice of relaxation technique before going to bed (whatever works for you) do not go without sleep for a long time if you can help it. Keep to a regular pattern of going to bed and getting up at the same time every day, whether you are tired or not keep bed for sleep. No watching television, browsing the internet or checking your email or social media. Get some exercise during the day. Try some regular swimming or walking. Avoid exercise late in the evening. Reduce the caffeine (tea, coffee, some soft drinks) in the evening. Try a milky drink instead. Don`t drink a lot of alcohol. It may help you fall asleep, but you are more likely to wake up during the night. Don`t eat or drink a lot late at night. Try to have your evening meal early rather than late. If you have had a bad night, resist the temptation to sleep the next day which will make it harder to get off to sleep the following night. If something is troubling you and there is nothing you can do about it right away, try writing it down before going to bed and then tell yourself to deal with it tomorrow. If you cannot sleep, don`t lie there worrying about it. Get up and do something you find relaxing like reading or listening to quiet music. After a while you should feel tired enough to go to bed again. Keep a sleep diary for a week. Then you can look back and notice what helps you sleep better and what doesn`t, so you can make positive changes and do more of what helps, and less of what doesn`t. If nothing seemed to help, try something different. Avoid clock watching when in bed and put your attention somewhere restful change your thinking worrying about not sleeping will keep you awake! rather than put your focus of attention on the worrying thoughts, notice that they are just thoughts, then put your attention somewhere restful, use imagery, mindful breathing, or your relaxation technique. Tell yourself that worrying about it will not help, and that you probably are getting enough, just less than you think you need. Our needs change as we get older. If you're worrying about a particular problem, write it down, and tell yourself you can sort it in the morning. Distract yourself by thinking about a random sequence of objects for a few seconds each. E. G. A table, a tree, a saucepan, a flower, a cow, a cloud etc. Or you could think about a few items beginning with the letter" b" then move on through the alphabet.

I think I have allergy problem 4 days in a week I am suffering from cold specially sneezing a lot I showed drs they told me its an allergy so there is no any treatment for allergy, it happens mostly when I am in front of fan or if I am in ac room. Just like with asthma, which is also allergic reaction in the lungs, your nose is also reacting to allergen in the environment. Your ent, skin or allergy specialist will keep this under control. Hello- sudden gap/delay in menses may be due to following reasons. 1) excessive travelling or physical exertion. 2) due to hormonal treatment.(for acne etc.) 3) due to indigestion (regular consumption of foods that are heavy to digest) 4) blood loss (accident, intestinal worms). Note: use dashmoolarishtha 2 tsp twice daily with water ten days before menses for regular flow and duration.

This is because of sun exposure. The colour of ypur exposed body skin gets darker as compared to the covered areas. You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Use home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity.

I'm having a lot of pimples of my face I've tried and consulted many docs but no effects.
Pimples or acne is caused when Hair follicles in your skin gets clogged due to oil, dirt, bacteria or dead skin. Acne generally occurs in people with oily skin but other factors like dead skin, dirt, pollution or hormonal imbalance can also cause acne in people with normal skin. Acne can be reduced or controlled by including some habits in your daily life style. 1. Keep your skin clean – Wash your face daily with an oil control face wash. You can also use a good AHA glow face wash that not only controls oil but also removes dead skin and bacteria. You can also use a good tea tree face wash. By shedding the old dead skin, your skin feels rejuvenated and clean. Apply a good toner, like tea tree toner after washing your face. After toning, apply an oil free and non- comedogenic cream on face. Last but not the least, apply a good sunscreen with minimum 30 spf daily. 2. Face packs – Occasionally apply good oil controlling face packs. Multani mitti + Lemon + yogurt is a good face packs for oily skin beauties. You can apply organic apple cider for 5 minutes after washing your face to kill the bacteria that clogs your pores. Green Tea can also be used as a toner once a day. 3.Diet – Most important thing is diet. Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. Reduce junk food intake, colas, alcohol and soda and consume whole grains. Keeping your digestive system healthy keeps your body and blood toxins free. Drink green tea, lemon juice, orange juice and food items containing Vitamin C as it is responsible for maintaining good skin health. They keep skin healthy and boost body’s immunity to deal with several issues and not just acne. Include it in your daily regime.

Ovarian cancer is the most common cancer to affect the female reproductive system. The exact cause of ovarian cancer is not yet known and the risk factors involved are numerous, the most prevalent of which are genetic defects and hereditary problems.

The symptoms of ovarian cancer are not always clear and range from pelvic and abdominal pains to irregularities in the menstrual cycle. Women beyond the age of 50 are most at risk of developing this type of cancer and the risk factor increases in case of family history.

Prevention of  Ovarian Cancer

There is no sure shot way of preventing ovarian cancer. Some factors such as genetics cannot be controlled at all. There are, however, ways to take precaution against it through some simple lifestyle choices. A few of those ways are as follows:

Eat a healthy balanced diet which is rich in all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals that the body requires for boosting and maintaining immunity.

Exercise regularly and stay active. Maintaining fitness is an important aspect of preventing the onset of all sorts of diseases and disorders.

Go for frequent health checkups and make regular consultations with your gynaecologist so as to ensure early detection of the problem.

Another notable way of avoiding ovarian cancer is taking birth control pills which are known to reduce the risk levels. However, studies have shown that there are other health risks associated with taking birth control pills and hence you should always consult a gynaecologist for a proper prescription.

I am a professor in the dept of soil and water engineering, to years back on 17 sept 2013 i suffered from a disc prolapse l5s1, i took 45 days of bed rest, some doctors advised to go for surgery, while others cautioned me to continue with changed life style, once in while i do take pain relievers, there is numbness in the left heel and outer shoe line and two of the toes, i used to go by bicycle all these years form 1987, now i am using auto-drive car, do suggest me any exercise/ methods so that i can gain strength of the back and do physical work.

Hello, this type of sensation and numbness is due to compression of your spinal cord. If you can, send me all the investigation reports, it will help me to explain you the type exercises. Till then follow these advise - 1. You have to maintain correct posture with protracted shoulder, sit properly with back rest on the pillow, walk straight with your shoulder protracted. 2. While lying down on your bed, keep pillow under your knees. 3. While side lying, keep pillow between the knees. 4. Have balanced diet which is rich in calcium. 5. Drink lots of water, it will keep supple your joints. 6. Morning walk and sunbath is must for at least 15-20 mins. 7. I recommend back flexion exercises like knee to chest, straight leg raising, static abdominal exercises etc. 8. Active and passive hamstrings and quadriceps muscles stretching may helpful for you.
