Raisins: Eating raisins every day can increase your weight substantially. They are densely packed with nutrients, which mean that even small servings of raisins provide a high amount of calories. A quarter cup of raisins contains as much as 100 calories.

As I have joined a boxing academy I am doing intense free hand workout. I go for 6 days a week and for one and half hour daily. Is there any diet plan for me? Or any tips to remain more fit, strong and active. I have a thyroid problem and taking medicine for last 4 yrs- thyroup 25. And thyroid function is normal.

1.Take plenty of liquids- water, milk, soups, fresh juice narial pani, neebu pani/ 2.Take less salt 3.Take plenty of green and other coloured vegetables 4.Take more fruits 5.Take whole grain atta. 6.Take eggs. Pulses, dry fruits, chicken, fish 7.Take more milk and milk products 8.Can take multivitamin supplement.

Day by day my weight was decreasing so what to do to increase weight and what is ideal weight in the age of 19.
58 - 62 is the ideal weight for females. To increase weight: a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients.

Dear lybrateuser, - To gain strength she should have a well balanced diet with more of fruits, vegetables including green leafy ones, whole grains instead of refined ones, milk & dairy products like yogurt, paneer, buttermilk, beans, lentils, pulses, sprouts, nuts to gain strength - should plenty of oral fluids including at least 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration and digestion - should do regular exercise like walking for good health & to keep fit - can give a supplement of multivitamin to boost immunity.

My age is 28 and height is 5.6" but my weight is 52 only want to gain weight and build muscle. Diet is daily 3 pranthas in breakfast, some rice or 3 chapatai in lunch with daal or vegetables and 3 chapatis in dinner with vegetables. No fast food and unhealthy eating and now having daily banana shake in evening. Main body work is going upstairs and downstairs minimum 10-15 times a day covering 50stairs in 1 time. Now give me a best way to increase weight to 65 kgs.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine alfalfa tonic (sbl) (1tbs) twice a day for 15 days and revert. *avoid fried and spicy food *avoid stress and anger. *take a sound sleep. *take milk twice a day *include fruits, vegetables in your diet. *take small meals.
